Description
Claims (20)
- 可撓性の細長部材と、
前記可撓性の細長部材の遠位部分に結合される検知素子と、
前記検知素子より遠位に延在する可撓性素子であって、前記可撓性素子の長手軸に沿って、1又は複数の可撓性接着剤で少なくとも部分的に充填された可撓性素子と、
を有する検知用のガイドワイヤ。 - 前記検知素子は、圧力センサ及びフローセンサの少なくとも一方を有する、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記可撓性素子内にコア素子を更に有する、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記コア素子が、シェーピングリボンに結合され、前記コア素子が、前記可撓性素子の全長の一部分のみに延在する、請求項3に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記可撓性素子がコイルを有する、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記1又は複数の可撓性接着剤が、ウレタン接着剤及びシリコン接着剤を含む接着剤のグループから選択される接着剤を有する、請求項5に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記1又は複数の可撓性接着剤が、第1の接着剤及び第2の接着剤を有し、前記第2の接着剤が、前記第1の接着剤に対して増大された可撓性を有する、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記第2の接着剤は、前記可撓性素子の中心ルーメン内において前記第1の接着剤より遠位に位置付けられる、請求項7に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記可撓性素子がコイルを有し、前記可撓性接着剤が、前記コイルの外側表面から、前記コイルを形成するワイヤ材料の直径の少なくとも10パーセントの距離隔てられている、請求項8に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記コイルが、約0.014"、約0.018"又は約0.035"の外径を有する、請求項9に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 検知用のガイドワイヤを形成する方法であって、
可撓性の細長部材の遠位部分に検知素子を結合するステップと、
可撓性素子が前記検知素子より遠位に延在するように、前記可撓性の細長部材の遠位部分に該可撓性素子を結合するステップと、
前記可撓性素子を、1又は複数の可撓性接着剤で少なくとも部分的に充填するステップと、
を有する方法。 - 前記検知素子が、圧力センサ及びフローセンサの少なくとも一方を有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性素子を前記可撓性接着剤で充填する前記ステップは、前記可撓性の細長部材の遠位部分に前記可撓性素子を結合した後に実施される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性素子を前記可撓性接着剤で充填する前記ステップが、前記可撓性の細長部材の遠位部分に前記可撓性素子を結合する前に実施される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性素子がコイルを有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記1又は複数の可撓性接着剤が、ウレタン接着剤及びシリコン接着剤を含む接着剤のグループから選択される接着剤を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性素子を前記1又は複数の可撓性接着剤で少なくとも部分的に充填する前記ステップは、第1の接着剤及び第2の接着剤を前記可撓性素子に導入することを含み、前記第2の接着剤が、前記第1の接着剤に対し増大された可撓性を有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の接着剤が、前記可撓性素子の、前記第1の接着剤より遠位のところに導入される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び前記第2の接着剤が、前記可撓性素子を遠位コア素子に結合する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記遠位コア素子が、前記可撓性素子の全長の一部分のみに延在するように、前記遠位コア素子がシェーピングリボンに結合される、請求項19に記載の方法。
