Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 可撓性導電トラック構成であって、
複数の電極を有する遠位部と、
複数の接点を有する近位部と、
前記遠位部と前記近位部の間のストリップとを有し、当該ストリップは各々が電極を接点に接続する複数の導電トラックを有し、少なくとも一つの前記導電トラックが誘電体層に埋め込まれ、当該誘電体層は生体適合性ポリマー層に埋め込まれ、当該生体適合性ポリマー層が実質的に平坦な少なくとも一つの外側ポリマー面を持ち、前記誘電体層が500nm未満の厚さを持つ、可撓性導電トラック構成。 - 前記誘電体層スタックが300nm未満若しくはさらに250nm未満の厚さを持つ、請求項1に記載の可撓性導電トラック構成。
- 前記誘電体層スタックが、酸化ケイ素、窒化ケイ素、及び酸化アルミニウム若しくは他の無機酸化物のうち少なくとも一つを有する、請求項1又は2に記載の可撓性導電トラック構成。
- 中心ロッドをさらに有し、前記可撓性導電トラック構成が実質的に平坦な面を当該中心ロッドに向けて当該中心ロッドにらせん状に巻きつけられる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性導電トラック構成。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性導電トラック構成を有する、神経刺激及び/又は神経検出デバイスであって、前記複数の電極が神経へ信号を供給する及び/又は神経から信号を受信するために構成され、神経刺激及び/又は検出ユニットをさらに有し、前記可撓性導電トラック構成の近位部の各接点と接触するための複数の追加接点を持つ、神経刺激及び/又は神経検出デバイス。
- 請求項5に記載の神経刺激及び/又は神経検出デバイスを有する補聴器。
- 複数の電極を有する遠位部と、複数の接点を有する近位部と、前記遠位部と前記近位部の間のストリップとを有する、可撓性導電トラック構成を製造する方法であって、前記ストリップは各々が電極を接点へ接続する複数の導電トラックを有し、当該方法は、
基板を設けるステップと、
前記基板上に第一の生体適合性ポリマー層を形成するステップと、
前記第一の生体適合性ポリマーの分解温度未満の温度で原子層堆積によって前記第一の生体適合性ポリマー層上に少なくとも一つの誘電体層を堆積するステップと、
前記少なくとも一つの誘電体層上に少なくとも一つのパターン化金属層を形成するステップであって、当該パターン化金属層が前記電極、前記接点及び前記導電トラックのうち少なくとも一部を画定する、ステップと、
前記第一の生体適合性ポリマーの分解温度未満の温度で原子層堆積によって前記パターン化金属層上に少なくとも一つの追加の誘電体層を堆積し、前記電極と前記接点を露出するように前記追加の誘電体層をパターン化するステップと、
第二の誘電体層上に第二の生体適合性ポリマー層を形成し、前記電極と前記接点を露出するように前記第二の生体適合性ポリマー層をパターン化するステップと、
を有する、方法。 - 前記原子層堆積ステップが120℃未満で実行される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 原子層堆積によって前記第一の生体適合性ポリマー層上に少なくとも一つの誘電体層を堆積するステップが、前記第一の生体適合性ポリマー層上に第一の誘電体層を堆積するステップと、前記第一の誘電体層上に第二の誘電体層を堆積するステップとを有する、及び/又は、
原子層堆積によって前記パターン化金属層上に少なくとも一つの追加の誘電体層を堆積するステップが、第一の追加の誘電体層を前記パターン化金属層上に堆積するステップと、第二の追加の誘電体層を前記第一の追加の誘電体層上に堆積するステップとを有する、
請求項7又は8に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも一つの誘電体層及び/又は前記少なくとも一つの追加の誘電体層が、酸化ケイ素、窒化ケイ素、酸化アルミニウム、若しくは別の無機酸化物のうち少なくとも一つから個別に選択される、請求項7から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも一つの誘電体層と前記少なくとも一つの追加の誘電体層が各々100nm未満の厚さに堆積される、請求項7から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の生体適合性ポリマー層と前記第二の生体適合性ポリマー層が各々電気絶縁ポリマーで構成される、請求項7から11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記電気絶縁ポリマーがパリレンとポリイミドから選択される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の生体適合性ポリマー層の形成前に前記基板上に剥離層を設けるステップをさらに有し、前記基板を除去するステップが前記剥離層を溶解するステップを有する、請求項7から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の生体適合性層に実質的に平坦な面を残すよう、前記第二の生体適合性ポリマー層を前記第二の誘電体層上に形成した後に前記基板を除去するステップをさらに有する、請求項7から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 中心伸長ロッドを設け、実質的に平坦な面を当該中心ロッドに向けて前記可撓性導電トラックをらせん状に当該中心ロッドに巻きつける追加ステップを有する、請求項7から15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性導電トラック構成が請求項7から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって製造される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の可撓性導電トラック構成。
