Abstract
Description

Claims (21)
- 共に封止される前方層および後方層を含む可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器と、
前記可撓性のある閉鎖容器内で、かつ前記可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器の中心領域にわたって、前記前方層の凹面側上に配置された前方の可撓性のある導電性電極と、
前記可撓性のある閉鎖容器内で、かつ前記中心領域にわたって、前記後方層の凸面側上に配置された後方の可撓性のある導電性電極と、
第1の可撓性のある導電性電極と、第2の可撓性のある導電性電極の間で、前記中心領域に配置された遠近調節作動器要素と
を備え、
前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極は透明であり、前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極に対して電圧が印加されることにより前記遠近調節作動器要素を電気的に操作する、デバイス。 - 前記後方層の凹面は、角膜上に取外し可能に取り付けられるように構成され、前記前方層の凸面は、前記後方層の凹面がそのように取り付けられたとき、眼瞼運動と適合性があるように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極は、それぞれ、前記前方層および前記後方層に適合する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。

- 前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極は、それぞれ、前記前方層の前記凹面側上および前記後方層の前記凸面側上へと硬化される導電性ポリマーまたは導電性シリコンを含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記中心領域周りに配置されるリング基板をさらに備え、

をさらに備える、請求項7に記載のデバイス。 - 前記前方接続タブおよび前記後方接続タブは、互いに回転方向にオフセットされている、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記遠近調節作動器要素は、液晶(「LC」)層を含み、前記LC層は、前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極よりも、前記中心領域において広いエリアにわたって広がっている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極は、それぞれ、反復して塗布され、かつ硬化される透明な導電性液体の多層構造を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器を有するコンタクトレンズを製作する方法であって、
前記可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器の前方層の凹形の内側表面上に液体の導体材料を付着させることと、
前記可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器の後方層の凸形の内側表面上に前記液体の導体材料を付着させることと、
前記前方層および前記後方層上の前記液体の導体材料を硬化させて、それぞれ、前記凹形の内側表面上に配置された前方の可撓性のある導電性電極を形成し、前記凸形の内側表面上に配置された後方の可撓性のある導電性電極を形成することであって、前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極と前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極が共に透明である、形成することと、
前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極と前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極との間に液晶材料を供給することと、
前方および後方の可撓性のある導体、ならびに液晶材料を、前記コンタクトレンズの前記可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器内に格納するために、前記前方層を前記後方層に封止することと
を含む方法。 - 前記液体の導体材料は、前記凹形の内側表面および前記凸形の内側表面にそれぞれ適合する導電性微粒子のコロイド状懸濁液を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性微粒子は、カーボンナノチューブまたは金属ナノワイヤの一方を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記液体の導体材料は、前記凹形の内側表面および前記凸形の内側表面にそれぞれ適合する導電性ポリマーまたは導電性シリコンを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 望ましいシート抵抗を達成する、前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極の厚さを構築するために、前記凹形の内側表面および前記凸形の内側表面の各々上に、反復して前記液体の導体材料を付着させ、硬化させることをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記液体の導電性材料を前記凸形の内側表面上に付着させることは、
前記前方層の前記凸形の内側表面の上にステンシルを位置決めすることと、
前記前方層の前記凸形の内側表面上の前記ステンシルの上に前記液体の導電性材料をスプレーすることとを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記液体の導電性材料を前記凸形の内側表面上に付着させることは、
前記液体の導電性材料をスタンプに塗布することと、
前記前方層の前記凸形の内側表面に前記スタンプを押し付けて、前記液体の導電性材料を前記前方層の前記凸形の内側表面に転写することと
を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記液晶材料は、前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極よりも、前記可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器の中心領域において大きなエリア上に供給される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記前方の可撓性のある導電性電極および前記後方の可撓性のある導電性電極を、それぞれ、前記前方層および前記後方層に接着するための反応しやすい表面を形成するように、前記前方層および前記後方層を共に封止することの前に、前記可撓性のあるレンズ閉鎖容器の前記前方層および前記後方層をプラズマ処理すること
をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 電池、コントローラ回路、前方接触パッド、および後方接触パッドがその上に配置されるリング基板を提供することと、
