Claims (20)
- 生分解性ポリマーを含んでなるマトリックス中に分散したサブ粒子を含んでなる塞栓粒子であって、サブ粒子は低溶解度の治療剤を含んでなる、塞栓粒子。
- 血管に投与されると粒子は1時間〜2日間の期間内に完全に生分解する、請求項1に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記粒子は幅が20〜200ミクロン(20〜200μm)の範囲にある、請求項1〜2のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子は幅が10nm〜10,000nmの範囲にある、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記生分解性ポリマーは、ポリ無水物、ポリ(オルトエステル)及び多糖から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記生分解性ポリマーはデンプンを含んでなり、かつデンプンは塞栓粒子を安定化するために架橋されている、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子は、前記治療剤を含んでなる針状の粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子は、非晶質のパクリタキセルの粒子、無水結晶形パクリタキセルの粒子、又は結晶質のパクリタキセル二水和物の針状の粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子は油中に分散した抗腫瘍剤を含んでなる粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子はヨード化油中に分散した結晶質のパクリタキセル粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子はヨード化されたケシ油中に分散した結晶質のパクリタキセル粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子は、抗腫瘍剤を含んでなる、タンパク質で安定化された粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子はタンパク質で安定化されたパクリタキセル粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 前記サブ粒子は卵白で安定化されたパクリタキセル粒子を含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子。
- 請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の塞栓粒子を湿潤形態又は乾燥形態で含んでなる、注入可能な医療用組成物。
- 等張化剤をさらに含んでなる、請求項15に記載の注入可能な医療用組成物。
- 前記注入可能な医療用組成物はガラス製容器又は事前装入式医療用デバイスの中に配置される、請求項15〜16のいずれか1項に記載の注入可能な医療用組成物。
- 請求項15〜17のいずれか1項に記載の注入可能な医療用組成物を患者に注入することを含んでなる、塞栓術の方法。
- 患者に抗凝血薬を投与することをさらに含んでなる、請求項18に記載の塞栓術の方法。
- キットであって、(a)請求項15〜17のいずれか1項に記載の医療用組成物と、(b)下記すなわち(i)カテーテル、(ii)ガイドワイヤ及び(iii)液体担体のうちの1以上と、を含んでなるキット。
