Abstract
【解決手段】入力画面を符号化単位ブロックに分割し、符号化単位ブロックを下位ブロックに分割し、下位ブロックを画面内の予測符号化または画面間の予測符号化のうち1つ以上を選択的に使用して符号化する。また、符号化方法の逆過程を通じて復号化過程を行う。

Description
前記正方形または非正方形の下位ブロックに対して画面内の予測符号化または画面間の予測符号化を行う場合、量子化された変換係数を当該ブロックサイズによって1つ以上のスキャン方法を選択的に適用してエントロピー符号化を行うことができる。
前記非正方形の下位ブロックに対して非正方形変換カーネルを適用して変換する時、前記非正方形の下位ブロックの横画素数と縦画素数とを比較し、大きい画素数のサイズに対応する正方形カーネルと、前記非正方形の下位ブロックの横画素数を縦画素数とを比較し、小さい画素数のサイズに対応する正方形変換カーネルを入力信号に対して順次に適用して非正方形変換を行うことができる。
また、(a)復号化しようとする画面ビットストリームを入力する段階と、(b)入力された画面ビットストリームをスライス単位で解釈する段階と、(c)前記スライスの復号化単位ブロックを解釈する段階と、(d)前記単位復号化ブロックのサブ分割ブロック符号化モードを復号化する段階と、(e)前記分割サブブロックタイプ結果を利用して復号化単位ブロックを含んでその下位ブロックに対して画面内の予測復号化及び/または画面間の予測復号化を行う段階と、を含むことを特徴とするビデオ復号化での分割ブロック復号化方法を提供する。
本発明の他の実施例において、前記方法をコンピュータで実行させることができるプログラムを記録したコンピュータで読み取り可能な記録媒体を提供する。

Claims (6)
- ビデオ符号化方法であって、
四分木構造を用いて符号化単位ブロックを第1の下位ブロックの4つに分割する段階と、
四分木構造を用いて、前記第1の下位ブロックの4つのうちの前記第1の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つを、第2の下位ブロックの4つに分割する段階であって、前記第2の下位ブロックのそれぞれの予測モードは、画面内予測モードまたは画面間予測モードを有する、段階と、
前記第2の下位ブロックのそれぞれの予測モードに従って、前記第2の下位ブロックのそれぞれについて予測を行う段階であって、前記第2の下位ブロックの4つのうちの前記第2の下位ブロックの2つは前記画面内予測モードを有し、前記第2の下位ブロックの残りは前記画面間予測モードを有する、段階と、
第1の変換カーネル及び第2の変換カーネルを用いて、前記第2の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つを変換する段階と、を含み、
前記予測を行う段階は、前記画面内予測モードを有する前記第2の下位ブロックについて画面内予測、前記画面間予測モードを有する前記第2の下位ブロックについて画面間予測を行う段階を含み、
前記第1の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つから分割され、かつ前記予測モードの単位である前記第2の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つは、前記第1の変換カーネル及び前記第2の変換カーネルを用いて変換され、
前記第1の変換カーネルの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さは、それぞれ、前記第2の変換カーネルの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さより大きい、方法。 - 前記第1の変換カーネルの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さは、それぞれ、前記第2の下位ブロックの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さより小さい、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 分割されていない第1の下位ブロックのそれぞれの予測モードに従って、前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックのそれぞれについて予測を行う段階と、
第3の変換カーネル及び第4の変換カーネルを用いて、前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つを変換する段階と、をさらに含み、
前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックのそれぞれについて予測を行う段階は、
前記画面内予測モードを有する前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックについて画面内予測、前記画面間予測モードを有する前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックについて画面間予測を行う段階を含み、
前記符号化単位ブロックから分割され、かつ前記予測モードの単位である前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つは、前記第3の変換カーネル及び前記第4の変換カーネルを用いて変換され、
前記第3の変換カーネルの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さは、それぞれ、前記第4の変換カーネルの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さより大きい、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第3の変換カーネルの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さは、それぞれ、前記分割されていない第1の下位ブロックの横方向の長さ及び縦方向の長さより小さい、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つは所定の回数まで分割される、請求項1に記載の方法。

四分木構造を用いて、前記第1の下位ブロックの4つのうちの前記第1の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つを、第2の下位ブロックの4つに分割する段階であって、前記第2の下位ブロックのそれぞれの予測モードは、画面内予測モードまたは画面間予測モードを有する、段階と、
第1の変換カーネル及び第2の変換カーネルを用いて、前記第2の下位ブロックの少なくとも1つを変換する段階と、
前記第2の下位ブロックのそれぞれの予測モードに従って、前記第2の下位ブロックのそれぞれについて予測を行う段階と、を含み、
前記第2の下位ブロックの4つのうちの前記第2の下位ブロックの2つは前記画面内予測モードを有し、前記第2の下位ブロックの残りは前記画面間予測モードを有し、
