Abstract
【解決手段】添加制御装置としての制御回路100のメモリ101には、排気エネルギーと、SCR触媒5の前面が濡れ状態となる尿素水添加量と乾いた状態となる尿素水添加量との限界添加量との相関関係が記憶される。制御回路100は、排気温及び排気流量を取得し、それら排気温、排気流量に基づいて排気エネルギーを算出する。排気エネルギーとメモリ101に記憶された上記相関関係とに基づいて限界添加量を算出する。その限界添加量を上限として添加弁8に尿素水を添加させる。SCR触媒5でのNOx浄化に必要な添加量が限界添加量を超えた場合には、尿素水の圧力を上げ又は限界添加量で尿素水の添加を行う。

排気が持つ熱エネルギーである排気エネルギーに関連する指標を取得する指標取得手段(S1)と、
前記指標に基づいて、前記添加弁から添加された還元剤により前記NOx触媒の前面が濡れた状態になる還元剤添加量の条件を特定する特定手段(S2)と、
前記条件を満たす還元剤添加量を回避する形で前記添加弁による還元剤の添加条件を設定する添加条件設定手段(S3〜S8)と、
を備えることを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 内燃機関(1)の排気管(2)に配置された選択還元型のNOx触媒(5)の排気上流側に液体の還元剤を添加する添加弁(8)を制御する添加制御装置(100)であって、
排気が持つ熱エネルギーである排気エネルギーに関連する指標を取得する指標取得手段(S1)と、
前記指標に基づいて、前記添加弁から添加された還元剤により前記NOx触媒の前面が濡れた状態になる還元剤添加量の条件を特定する特定手段(S2)と、
前記条件を満たす還元剤添加量を回避する形で前記添加弁による還元剤の添加条件を設定する添加条件設定手段(S3〜S8)と、
を備えることを特徴とする添加制御装置。 - 前記指標取得手段は、前記指標として排気温及び排気流量を取得することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の添加制御装置。
- 前記特定手段は、前記指標に基づいて、前記NOx触媒の前面が濡れた状態になる還元剤添加量と乾いた状態になる還元剤添加量との限界添加量を算出する手段であり、
前記添加条件設定手段は、前記限界添加量を上限として前記添加弁による還元剤の添加条件を設定することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の添加制御装置。 - 前記特定手段は、前記添加弁から添加する還元剤の圧力に応じた前記限界添加量を算出し、
前記添加条件設定手段は、
前記NOx触媒でのNOx浄化に必要な還元剤の添加量である必要添加量を算出する必要量算出手段(S3)と、
前記添加弁に対する添加量の指令値を前記必要添加量に設定し、且つ、還元剤の圧力を、前記必要添加量が前記限界添加量以下となる圧力に設定する設定手段(S4〜S7)とを備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の添加制御装置。 - 前記特定手段は、前記添加弁から添加する還元剤の圧力に応じた前記限界添加量を算出し、
前記添加条件設定手段は、
前記NOx触媒でのNOx浄化に必要な還元剤の添加量である必要添加量を算出する必要量算出手段(S3)と、
前記必要添加量が、還元剤の圧力が特定圧力の場合における前記限界添加量を超えた場合には、該限界添加量を前記添加弁に対する添加量の指令値として設定し、且つ還元剤の圧力を前記特定圧力に設定する設定手段(S8)とを備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の添加制御装置。 - 前記特定手段は、還元剤の圧力が所定の標準圧力の場合における前記限界添加量である標準圧限界量と、前記標準圧力より高い所定の高圧力の場合における前記限界添加量である高圧限界量とを算出し、
前記添加条件設定手段は、
前記NOx触媒でのNOx浄化に必要な還元剤の添加量である必要添加量を算出する必要量算出手段(S3)と、
前記必要添加量が前記標準圧限界量以下の場合には、前記添加弁に対する添加量の指令値を前記必要添加量に設定し且つ還元剤の圧力を前記標準圧力に設定し、
前記必要添加量が前記標準圧限界量を超え、前記高圧限界量以下の場合には、前記指令値を前記必要添加量に設定し且つ還元剤の圧力を前記高圧力に設定し、
前記必要添加量が前記高圧限界量を超えた場合には、前記指令値を前記高圧限界量に設定し且つ還元剤の圧力を前記高圧力に設定する設定手段(S4〜S8)とを備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の添加制御装置。 - 前記限界添加量は、排気温が高いほど大きい値となり、且つ、排気流量が高いほど大きい値となる添加量であることを特徴とする請求項3〜6のいずれか1項に記載の添加制御装置。
