- 一つ又は複数の発光素子と、
上面と下面とを含み、前記下面に形成されて前記発光素子が配置される一つ又は複数の溝を有し、前記一つ又は複数の溝内部に配置され、前記発光素子から放出される光を反射する反射層を含み、前記上面に配置された複数の逆プリズムパターンを含む導光板と、
を含む、ローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。 - 前記導光板の複数の溝は、
一方向へ平行するように形成された複数の第1溝と、
前記複数の第1溝と格子状に形成された複数の第2溝と、を含み、
前記複数の第1溝内に前記発光素子が配置された、請求項1に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。 - 前記導光板は、前記溝を定義する上側面と二つの側面とを含み、
前記反射層は、前記上側面に配置された上側部反射層を含む、請求項1に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。 - 前記上側部反射層の幅は、前記溝の幅よりさらに大きいか同じである、請求項3に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板の下面に配置された反射板をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板は、前記溝を定義する上側面と二つの側面とを含み、
前記反射層は、前記二つの側面のいずれか一つの面に配置された側部反射層を含む、請求項1に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。 - 前記複数の逆プリズムパターンは、前記導光板の上面に非均一に配置された、請求項1に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板の上面は、前記一つ又は複数の溝の上部に対応する領域を有し、
前記領域に配置される前記複数の逆プリズムパターンの密度は、前記領域以外の他の領域に配置される前記複数の逆プリズムパターンの密度より大きい、請求項1に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。 - 前記他の領域に配置される前記複数の逆プリズムパターンの密度は、前記発光素子から遠ざかるほど増加する、請求項8に記載のローカルディミングが可能なバックライトユニット。
