More preferred is a homopolymer of ethyleneimine (polyethyleneimine; PEI). Further, it may be obtained by polymerizing ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine, tetraethylenepentamine and the like. Such a polyalkyleneimine usually has a primary amino group or secondary amino group (imino group) in addition to a tertiary amino group in the structure.

(Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2) Diacetyl deodorizing ability test A glass petri dish was prepared and weighed 0.50 g of SP-006. In addition, as a comparative example, a petri dish containing 0.50 g of pure water and an empty petri dish were prepared as a blank. Each of these petri dishes was put in a sampling bag with a cock (manufactured by GL Science, smart bag PA, volume 3 L), and heat-sealed to completely seal it. After evacuating each sampling bag, 2 L of nitrogen gas was weighed. After opening the petri dish in each bag, 5 mL of diacetyl saturated nitrogen gas was taken in using a syringe. After leaving still for 2 hours, 100 mL of gas in the bag was sucked 3 times using a Kitagawa-type detector tube for acetaldehyde (No. 92, manufactured by Gastec Corporation), and the reduction rate of diacetyl concentration was compared. In addition, the measured value was converted into the diacetyl concentration using the conversion scale described in the manual of the detector tube.
The reduction rate of diacetyl or nonenal was calculated as follows:
Reduction rate (%) = (Blank gas concentration−Gas concentration with sample) ÷ (Blank gas concentration) × 100
The results are shown in Table 1.
(Examples 2 to 4 and Comparative Examples 3 and 4) Nonenal deodorizing ability test Three glass petri dishes were prepared, and 0.50 g of the above three types of polyethyleneimine were weighed. In addition, as a comparative example, a petri dish containing 0.50 g of pure water and an empty petri dish were prepared as a blank. Using these, nitrogen-containing sampling bags were prepared in the same manner as in Example 1. After opening the petri dish in each bag, a 10% ethanol solution of Nonenal was weighed in 15 μL using a microsyringe. After standing for 2 hours, 100 mL of gas in the bag was sucked once using a Kitagawa detector tube for formaldehyde (No. 91L, manufactured by Gastec), and the concentration of nonenal was measured. For nonenal, the reduction rate was calculated based on the measured value by the detector tube.
The results are shown in Table 2.
