Claims (15)
- 走査線及びデータ線に連結されている画素を含む表示パネルと、
前記データ線と連結されてデータ信号を印加するデータ駆動部と、
前記走査線と連結されて走査信号を順次に印加する走査駆動部と、
映像を表示する駆動周波数を選択するが、前記表示パネルに表示される映像が第1映像である場合、低周波数を選択し、
前記表示パネルに表示される映像が前記第1映像ではない場合、正常周波数を選択する周波数選択部と、
前記周波数選択部の選択による駆動周波数に基づいて前記表示パネル、前記データ駆動部、及び前記走査駆動部を制御するタイミング制御部と、を含み、
前記タイミング制御部は、
前記表示パネルに表示される映像が前記第1映像である場合、前記低周波数に対応する周期ごとに前記第1映像が表示される前記表示パネルの輝度が繰り返して変化されるように制御することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記タイミング制御部は、
前記表示パネルに表示される映像が前記第1映像である場合、前記周期の間前記輝度が第1輝度値から第2輝度値までアナログ的に連続して変化されるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記タイミング制御部は、
前記第1映像にテキスト及びイメージのうち少なくともいずれか一つが含まれる場合、
前記周期ごとに前記テキスト及びイメージの大きさまたは色が変化されるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1映像は、
前記表示パネルを活性化するための入力信号が感知されなくとも、所定の情報を常に前記表示パネルに表示するためのAOD映像であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記所定の情報は、現在の時刻、日付、天気、ユーザーの位置、前記ユーザーの生体状態情報、及びアラームのうち少なくともいずれか一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記周波数選択部は、
前記第1映像に前記現在の時刻を示す時計画面が含まれた場合、前記駆動周波数として1Hzの低周波数を選択することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。 - 前記ユーザーの生体情報を測定する端末から前記ユーザーの心臓拍同数についての情報を受信する生体情報受信部をさらに含み、
前記周波数選択部は、
前記ユーザーの心臓拍同数値に対応する低周波数を選択することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。 - 前記正常周波数は60Hzであり、前記低周波数は、0Hz以上3Hz以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記周波数選択部によって選択された低周波数が0である場合、
前記タイミング制御部は、
前記表示パネルに前記第1映像が表示されれば、前記輝度が第1輝度値からアナログ的に連続して低くなるように制御し、
前記輝度が前記第1輝度値よりも低い値を有する第2輝度値に到逹すれば、前記第2輝度値を維持するように制御することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。 - タッチ入力信号を感知するタッチセンサーをさらに含み、
前記タイミング制御部は、
前記タッチセンサーによって前記タッチ入力信号が感知される度に前記輝度が前記第1輝度値に上昇されるようにすることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。 - (a)表示パネルに表示される映像の種類を判断する段階と、
(b)前記映像を表示する駆動周波数を選択するが、前記表示パネルに表示される映像が第1映像である場合、低周波数を選択し、前記表示パネルに表示される映像が前記第1映像ではない場合、正常周波数を選択する段階と、
(c)前記選択された駆動周波数に基づいて前記表示パネルに前記映像を表示するが、前記映像が前記第1映像である場合、前記低周波数に対応する周期ごとに前記第1映像の輝度が繰り返して変化されるように表示する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記(c)段階は、
前記映像が前記第1映像である場合、前記周期の間前記輝度が第1輝度値から第2輝度値まで次第に連続して変化されるようにすることを特徴とする 請求項11記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記(c)段階において、
前記映像が前記第1映像である場合、前記第1映像に含まれたテキスト及びイメージの大きさまたは色のうち少なくともいずれか一つが前記周期ごとに変化されるようにすることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - ユーザーの生体情報を測定する端末から前記ユーザーの心拍数についての情報を受信する段階をさらに含み、
前記映像が前記第1映像である場合、前記駆動周波数として前記ユーザーの心拍数に対応する低周波数値を選択することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第1映像は、
前記表示パネルを活性化するための入力信号が感知されなくとも、所定の情報を常に前記表示パネルに表示するためのAOD映像であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
