Claims (5)
- 炭化硼素粒子と、酸化ビスマス粒子、および/または、酸化ガドリニウム粒子とが樹脂内に分散配置されていることを特徴とする中性子遮蔽材。
- 前記樹脂の質量を1としたときに、前記酸化ビスマス粒子と前記酸化ガドリニウム粒子との合計質量が1以上6以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中性子遮蔽材。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の中性子遮蔽材を有することを特徴とする中性子遮蔽容器。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の中性子遮蔽材からなる複数の壁部により構成され、
前記複数の壁部のうち、第一の壁部に設けられた中性子線通過孔を通じて中性子線が照射される照射試験体が収納される照射試験体室と、
前記照射試験体室の第二の壁部に設けられた観察孔を通じて前記中性子の照射方向に対して側方から前記照射試験体を検査する検査装置が収納される検査装置室と、を備え、かつ、
前記第一の壁部および前記第二の壁部のそれぞれの、前記中性子遮蔽材の前記酸化ビスマス粒子の質量と前記酸化ガドリニウム粒子の質量との和がその他の壁部に比べて多いことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の中性子遮蔽容器。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の中性子遮蔽材の製造方法であって、
前記樹脂が熱硬化性樹脂であり、
当該熱硬化性樹脂が未硬化の状態で前記酸化ビスマス粒子、および/または、前記酸化ガドリニウム粒子と混合し、
成形用型に注型し、その後、
前記熱硬化性樹脂を硬化させることを特徴とする中性子遮蔽材の製造方法。
