Claims (20)
- 力検知デバイスを含むタッチセンシングシステムであって、
基板と、
前記基板上に配設されたセンサーピクセル回路のアレイと、
各個別素子が個々のセンサーピクセル回路に対応する、圧電フィルム層の個別素子と、
各ピクセル入力電極が、前記圧電層の個別素子の第1の面と前記センサーピクセル回路の1つとの間の電気的接続を確立するように構成された、複数のピクセル入力電極と、
前記圧電層の個別素子の第2の面との電気的接続を確立するように構成されたレシーババイアス電極と、
制御システムであって、
前記圧電フィルム層の1つまたは複数の個別素子に加えられた力に対応する、前記センサーピクセル回路のうちの1つまたは複数からの信号を受信し、
前記力を及ぼす対象物の位置を判定する
ことができる、制御システムと
を備える、タッチセンシングシステム。 - 各センサーピクセル回路は、
前記ピクセル入力電極から受け取った電荷を増幅することのできる電荷増幅器を備える、請求項1に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。 - 各センサーピクセル回路は、
加えられた力によって発生する電荷の最大量を記録することのできるピーク検出回路をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。 - 各センサーピクセル回路は、
前記ピーク検出回路から蓄積した電荷を除去することができるリセットデバイスをさらに備える、請求項3に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。 - 前記力検知デバイスは、指紋センサーとして働くのに十分な程度に高い分解能を有する、請求項1に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 超音波トランスミッタをさらに備え、前記制御システムは、前記タッチセンシングシステムを超音波撮像モードまたは力検知モードにおいて動作させることができる、請求項1に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記タッチセンシングシステムを力検知モードで動作させるときに前記超音波トランスミッタを「オフ」状態に維持することができる、請求項6に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- メモリシステムをさらに含み、前記制御システムは、前記超音波トランスミッタを前記「オフ」状態に維持しつつ、指紋画像をキャプチャし、指紋画像データを前記メモリシステムに記憶することができる、請求項7に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記指紋画像データに少なくとも部分的に基づいて1つまたは複数のデバイスへのアクセスを制御することができる、請求項8に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 前記力検知デバイスは、前記タッチセンシングシステムが前記超音波撮像モードで動作するときに超音波レシーバとして働くことができる、請求項6に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記力検知デバイスを介して受け取られたタッチまたはタップを検出し、前記タッチまたはタップに応答して前記超音波トランスミッタをオンに切り替えることができる、請求項6に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 前記基板は薄膜トランジスタ(TFT)基板であり、前記センサーピクセル回路はTFTセンサーピクセル回路を含む、請求項1に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 請求項1の前記タッチセンシングシステムを含むモバイルディスプレイデバイス。
- 前記制御システムは、前記力検知デバイスを介して受け取られたタッチまたはタップを検出し、前記タッチまたはタップに応答して前記モバイルディスプレイデバイスの少なくとも1つの機能をアクティブ化することができる、請求項13に記載のモバイルディスプレイデバイス。
- 前記制御システムは、
非アクティビティ期間の間前記モバイルディスプレイデバイスをスリープモードで動作させ、
前記力検知デバイスを介して受けられたタッチまたはタップを検出し、
前記タッチまたはタップに応答して前記モバイルディスプレイデバイスを前記スリープモードからウェイクすることができる、請求項14に記載のモバイルディスプレイデバイス。 - タッチセンシングシステムの力検知デバイスからユーザのタッチまたはタップの表示を受信するステップと、
前記タッチまたはタップに少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記タッチセンシングシステムを超音波撮像モードで動作させるステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記受信するステップは、超音波トランスミッタがオフに切り替えられる間超音波レシーバから表示を受信するステップを含み、前記動作させるステップは、前記超音波トランスミッタをオンに切り替えるステップを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 圧電フィルム層とセンサーピクセル回路のアレイとを含む超音波レシーバと、
超音波トランスミッタ手段と、
制御手段であって、
前記超音波トランスミッタ手段がオフに切り替えられる間、前記超音波レシーバの前記センサーピクセル回路のうちの1つまたは複数から信号を受信するための手段であって、前記信号は、前記圧電フィルム層に加えられた力に対応する手段と、
前記信号に応答して前記超音波トランスミッタ手段をオンに切り替えるための手段と
を備える、制御手段と
を備えるタッチセンシングシステム。 - 前記制御手段は、前記受信手段によって受信された複数の信号に対応する1つまたは複数の対象物の位置または動きを判定するための手段を含む、請求項18に記載のタッチセンシングシステム。
- 請求項18の前記タッチセンシングシステムを含むモバイルディスプレイデバイスであって、前記制御手段は、
非アクティビティ期間の間前記モバイルディスプレイデバイスをスリープモードで動作させるための手段と、
前記信号に応答して前記モバイルディスプレイデバイスを前記スリープモードからウェイクするための手段とを備える、モバイルディスプレイデバイス。
