Claims (22)
- 天然ガス流から液化天然ガス(LNG)を生成するためのシステム(10,60)であって、
天然ガス流(16)から水分を除去して天然ガス流(16)を圧縮するとともに、低水分圧縮天然ガス流(21)を生成するための水分除去装置(12)及び圧縮機(22)と、
前記低水分圧縮天然ガス流(21)を冷却して冷却圧縮排出流(32)を生成するための熱交換器(24)と、
前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を膨張させて、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとの混合物から構成される膨張排気流(34)を生成するための多相ターボ膨張機(30)と、
前記膨張排気流(34)を分離して、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)及び液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリー流(42)を生成するための分離器(38)と、
前記液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリー流(42)を分離して、液化天然ガス出力流(52)と氷/固体CO2から実質的に構成される出力流(54)とを生成するための少なくとも1つの更なる分離器(50)と、
を備えるシステム(10,60)。 - 前記水分除去装置(12)が分子篩ベッドを構成する請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記低水分圧縮天然ガス流(21)は、180ppm未満の水分含有量を有する天然ガス流を備える請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、前記液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーが主に形成されるように前記熱交換器(24)からの冷却圧縮排出流(32)を更に冷却するように構成される請求項1記載のシステム。
- CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)を天然ガス流(20)へと再循環させるように構成される再循環経路(501)を更に備える請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記再循環経路(501)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)を圧縮してCH4から実質的に構成される圧縮蒸気流(48)を生成するための圧縮機(44)を更に備える請求項5記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの更なる分離器(50)は、フィルタ、サイクロン、又は、重力分離器のうちの1つである請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、
ハウジング(72)と、
前記ハウジング(72)内に配置される少なくとも1つの回転構成要素(74)と、
前記ハウジング(72)に配置される少なくとも1つの入口(84)であって、前記入口(84)が前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を受けるように構成される、少なくとも1つの入口(84)と、
前記ハウジング(72)に配置される少なくとも1つの出口(88)であって、前記出口(88)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとの混合物から構成される膨張排気流(34)を排出するように構成される、少なくとも1つの出口(88)と、
を備え、
前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気が形成され、液化天然ガスが形成され、及び、冷却排出天然ガス流中のCO2の少なくとも一部が固体CO2を形成するように、前記熱交換器(24)からの前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を更に冷却するように構成される請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとを分離して、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2から実質的に構成されるスラリー流(42)を排出するように更に構成される請求項8記載のシステム。
- 前記低水分圧縮天然ガス流(21)に対して更なる冷却を行なうために前記熱交換器(24)と流体連通する外部冷却システム(62)を更に備える請求項1記載のシステム。
- 天然ガス流から液化天然ガス(LNG)を生成するためのシステム(10,60)において、
天然ガス流(16)を圧縮して冷却するとともに、冷却圧縮排出流(32)を生成するように構成される少なくとも1つの圧縮ステージ(100)及び少なくとも1つの冷却ステージ(200)と、
前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を膨張させて膨張排気流(34)を生成するように構成される少なくとも1つの膨張ステージ(300)であって、前記少なくとも1つの膨張ステージ(300)は、前記圧縮ステージ(100)及び前記冷却ステージ(200)と流体連通する少なくとも1つの多相ターボ膨張機(30)を備え、前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、
ハウジング(72)と、
前記ハウジング(72)内に配置される少なくとも1つの回転構成要素(74)と、
前記ハウジング(72)に配置される少なくとも1つの入口(84)であって、前記入口(84)が前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を受けるように構成される、少なくとも1つの入口(84)と、
前記ハウジング(72)に配置される少なくとも1つの出口(88)であって、前記出口(88)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとの混合物を備える膨張排気流(34)を排出するように構成される、少なくとも1つの出口(88)と、
を備える、
少なくとも1つの膨張ステージ(300)と、
を備えるシステム(10,60)。 - CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとの混合物をCH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーから実質的に構成される出力流とに分離するように構成される分離ステージ(400)を更に備える請求項11記載のシステム。
- CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)を天然ガス流(20)へと再循環させるように構成される再循環ステージ(500)を更に備える請求項12記載のシステム。
- 前記再循環ステージ(500)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)を圧縮してCH4から実質的に構成される圧縮蒸気流(48)を生成するための圧縮機(44)を備える請求項13記載のシステム。
- 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、液化天然ガスが形成され、及び、冷却排出天然ガス流中のCO2の少なくとも一部が固体CO2を形成するように、前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を更に冷却するように構成される請求項11記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの冷却ステージ(200)は、前記低水分圧縮天然ガス流(21)に対して更なる冷却を行なうように構成される外部冷却システム(62)を更に備える請求項11記載のシステム。
- 天然ガス流から液化天然ガス(LNG)を生成するための方法(600)において、
入力天然ガス流を供給するステップ(602)と、
水分を除去して、天然ガス流を圧縮して冷却するとともに、冷却圧縮排出流(32)を生成するステップ(604)と、
多相ターボ膨張機(30)内で前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を膨張させて、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとの混合物を備える膨張排気流(34)を生成するステップ(606)と、
少なくとも1つの分離器(38)内で前記膨張排気流(34)を分離して、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリー流(42)とを生成するステップ(608)と、
前記液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリー流(42)を少なくとも1つの更なる分離器(50)内で分離して、氷/固体CO2から実質的に構成される出力流(54)と液化天然ガス(LNG)出力流(52)とを生成するステップ(612)と、
を備える方法(600)。 - 再循環経路(501)内でCH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流(40)を入力天然ガス流(20)へと再循環させるステップ(610)を更に備える請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)内で氷/固体CO2の少なくとも一部を冷却圧縮天然ガス流から分離するステップを更に備える請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、
ハウジング(72)と、
前記ハウジング(72)内に配置される少なくとも1つの回転構成要素(74)と、
前記ハウジング(72)に配置される少なくとも1つの入口(84)であって、前記入口(84)が前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を受けるように構成される、少なくとも1つの入口(84)と、
前記ハウジング(72)に配置される少なくとも1つの出口(88)であって、前記出口(88)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気と液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2スラリーとの混合物を備える膨張排気流(34)を排出するように構成される、少なくとも1つの出口(88)と、
を備え、
前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)は、CH4から実質的に構成される蒸気が形成され、液化天然ガスが形成され、及び、冷却排出天然ガス流中のCO2の少なくとも一部が固体CO2を形成するように、前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)を更に冷却するように構成される請求項17記載の方法。 - 前記冷却圧縮排出流(32)と流体連通する外部冷却システム(62)内で天然ガス流を更に冷却するステップを更に備える請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記多相ターボ膨張機(30)内でCH4から実質的に構成される蒸気流及び液化天然ガス/氷/固体CO2から実質的に構成されるスラリー流(42)の少なくとも一部を分離するステップを更に備える請求項17記載の方法。
