Abstract
Description
・オンサイト設備で、PCC生産に関する高い投資、高エネルギー、高ランニングコスト及び高メンテナンス費用、
・高い不透明度と高強度の両立が必要とされる場合、高品質で高価なフィラーの使用の増加、
・高い不透明度と高強度の両立が必要とされる場合、保持/強度向上化学物質の使用の増加、及び
・PCC結晶の不均質性。
(a)繊維ウェブ機のヘッドボックスに繋がるパイプラインに完成紙料を供給する工程、
(b)ヘッドボックスに向かって、繊維ウェブ製造繊維を含む完成紙料の流れを作る工程、
(c)少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質を石灰乳と同時に完成紙料に導入する工程、
(d)工程(c)の前、間又は後に、完成紙料にCO2を供給する工程、及び
(e)繊維ウェブ製造繊維と少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質の両方の存在下において、石灰乳と二酸化炭素との間で炭酸化反応を進行させる工程。
・インライン法で生産されたPCCの品質は、抄紙機外でのPCC生産を含む手法であって炭酸カルシウムフィラーを生産するいかなる他の手法よりも、はるかに優れ、かつ均一である、
・PCC生産で必要とされる投資は、これまでオンサイトで又はサテライト工場で使用されたのと比較して、少なくとも半分に削減される、
・PCC生産エネルギーコストは、以前のPCC生産と比較して、約10分の1に削減される、
・清浄水の消費は、従来技術によるオンサイトPCCプロセスと比較して、実質的に削減される、
・紙生産は、より少ない保持化学物質を必要とするか、全く必要としない、
・紙生産において、これまで使用したよりも多量のフィラーを使用することにより、高価な繊維材料の使用を節約する、
・紙生産において、これまで使用したよりも低品質のフィラーを使用することにより、フィラー関連の費用において節約を生み出す、
・疎水性接着剤及び保持助剤の必要性が低減される、
・製紙水サイクルはよりクリーンになり、及び/又は精製化学物質の必要性は低減され、並びに水サイクルはこれまでよりもクローズ化されることができ−操業性が改善され、並びに
・オンラインでインラインシステムを制御しやすい。

(c)強度向上/保持化学物質分子が石灰乳粒子に付着するように、少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質を石灰乳とインジェクションミキサー内で一緒に混合する工程、
(d)少なくとも前記一つの保持/強度向上化学物質を石灰乳と同時に完成紙料に導入する工程、
(e)工程(d)の前、間又は後に、完成紙料にCO2を供給する工程、及び
(f)繊維ウェブ製造繊維と少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質の両方の存在下において、石灰乳と二酸化炭素との間で炭酸化反応を進行させる工程。
(例2)
Claims (11)
- 以下の工程を含む、フィラーを有する繊維ウェブ製造完成紙料を提供する方法。
(a)繊維ウェブ機のヘッドボックスに繋がるパイプラインに完成紙料を供給する工程、
(b)ヘッドボックスに向かって、繊維ウェブ製造繊維を含む完成紙料の流れを作る工程、
(c)少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質を石灰乳と同時に完成紙料に導入する工程、
(d)工程(c)の前、間又は後に、完成紙料にCO2を供給する工程、及び
(e)繊維ウェブ製造繊維と少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質の両方の存在下において、石灰乳と二酸化炭素との間で炭酸化反応を進行させる工程。 - 工程(c)において、少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質と石灰乳とを混合することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の前に、少なくとも一つの保持/強度向上化学物質と石灰乳とを混合することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一つの強度向上/保持化学物質及び石灰乳を完成紙料に注入することによって、工程(c)を行うことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- パイプラインと連通して次々と配置されている2つのインジェクションミキサー又はミキサーステーションによって、少なくとも一つの強度向上/保持化学物質及び石灰乳を完成紙料に注入することによって、工程(c)を行うことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 二酸化炭素を繊維ウェブ製造紙料に注入することによって、工程(d)を行うことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 繊維ウェブの製造においてPCCをフィラーとして使用することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 保持/強度向上化学物質が、一つ又は複数の天然デンプン、非イオン性、アニオン性、カチオン性又は両性デンプン、調理されたデンプン、カルボキシメチルセルロース、グアーガム、PAAE(ポリアミドアミン−エピクロロヒドリン)、c−PAM(カチオン性ポリアクリルアミンポリマー)、a−PAM(アニオン性PAM)、シリケート、ナノ粒子、ポリビニルアミン及びポリアクリレート(PA)の共重合体、並びにアクリルアミドのアニオン性共重合体であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法により生産された沈降炭酸カルシウムをフィラーとして有する、紙又は板。
- 紙が上質紙であり、紙の総フィラー含有量が乾燥紙に基づいて10〜50重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の紙又は板紙。
- 紙が新聞用紙であり、紙の総フィラー含有量が乾燥紙に基づいて5〜20重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の紙又は板紙。
