Abstract

前記押し当てに応じて前記押当ツールから所定量の溶剤を放出させる工程であって、前記所定量の溶剤が、前記押当ツールと前記封止材との間の付着力を低減し、その少なくとも一部が、前記押当ツールに含まれる多孔性部材から放出されたものである、工程と、

Claims (10)
- 留め具(106、108)に塗布される封止剤102を整形するための押当ツール(200)であって、
第1端、第2端、及びチャンバ(203)を有するハウジング(202)であって、前記第1端が前記チャンバの第1部分を規定する第1開口部(220)を含み、前記第2端が自動操縦式封止剤アプリケータに接続可能に構成されており、外部容器(221)から前記チャンバへ溶剤を運ぶように構成された第2開口部(211)を更に有するハウジングと、
前記チャンバ内に設けられた多孔性部材(205)であって、所定量の前記溶剤を保持するように構成されており、且つ、前記留め具に塗布された前記封止剤との接触に応じて、前記封止剤を所定形状に変形するとともに、前記留め具に塗布された前記封止剤との接触に応じて前記溶剤の少なくとも一部を放出するように構成された多孔性部材と、
を備える、押当ツール。 - 前記多孔性部材(205)は、第1層(206)及び第2層(207)を含み、前記第1層は、前記溶剤のうち第1の量を保持するように構成されており、前記第2層は、前記溶剤のうち第2の量を保持するように構成されており、前記第2の量は、前記第1層に保持されている前記溶剤から吸い取られる量であり、好ましくは、前記第1層(206)は、前記チャンバ(203)内に設けられるとともに、少なくとも部分的に前記チャンバの内面により規定される表面を有し、前記第2層(207)は、前記開口部(220)を横断するように設けられている、請求項1に記載の押当ツール(200)。
- 前記多孔性部材(205)は、レギュレータ(414)に連携する単一層からなり、好ましくは、前記レギュレータは、前記多孔性部材に供給される前記溶剤の流量を調節するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の押当ツール(200)。
- 前記第2開口部(211)は、前記ハウジング(202)の側壁を貫通するポート(210)を含み、前記ポートは、前記溶剤を保持する外部容器(221)に接続される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の押当ツール(200)。
- 前記第2開口部(211)は、前記第2端に含まれるとともに、前記チャンバ(203)の第2部分を規定する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の押当ツール(200)。
- 留め具(106、108)に対して封止剤(102)を塗布するためのシステムであって、
前記留め具が設けられた、少なくとも1つの指定位置に移動するように構成されたロボットアーム(512)と、
前記ロボットアームに接続された、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の押当ツール(200)と、
を含む、システム。 - 自動操縦式封止剤アプリケータ及び前記押当ツール(200)の配向を回転させるように構成された回転素子(508)を更に含む、請求項6に記載のシステム(500)。
- 前記ロボットアーム(512)は、更に、前記押当ツール(200)を複数の指定位置に移動させるように構成されており、前記複数の指定位置は、マシンのアセンブリに関連する工学データに基づいて特定される、請求項6又は7に記載のシステム(500)。
- 留め具(106、108)に塗布される封止剤(102)を整形するための方法であって、
アセンブリの表面に沿って前記留め具の表面を封止する前記封止剤に対して、エンドエフェクタ(510)を用いて押当ツール(200)を押し当てて(602、708)前記封止剤の外面(103)を整形する工程と、
