Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
- 第1の薬物を生体生物系に送達するための微小担体であって、
(a)前記第1の薬物を封入するための微小担体内にある第1の微小容器と、
(b)前記微小担体に統合されており、前記生体生物系の一般領域を走査することが可能であり、前記領域の特性を検出することが可能であり、前記微小担体を前記標的部位に選択的に結合させるために標的部位を識別することが可能である感知器;又は前記微小担体の一部を構成し、前記微小担体を標的部位に吸収又は吸着することが可能な材料と、
(c)前記微小容器から前記薬物を前記標的部位に送達するための、前記微小容器に取り付けられている注入器とを含む微小担体。 - 前記第1の薬物とは異なる薬物を封入するために、前記微小担体内に追加の微小容器を更に含む、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、制御された速度で及び前記異なる薬物間の所望の時間間隔で前記異なる薬物を順次放出する、請求項2に記載の微小担体。
- 前記薬物が放出される前に、前記標的部位及び非標的部位の検出される特性の差異を増強するための前処理ユニットを更に含む、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記標的部位が、癌性細胞を含み、前記非標的部位が、癌性細胞を含まない、請求項4に記載の微小担体。
- 前記特性が、表面張力、光学特性、化学的組成物、生物学的特性、生物学的組成、密度、摩擦、局所的pH、局所的な化学的特性、局所的な化学的排出及び存在、局所的な生物学的種及び存在、表面電荷、表面静止電位、導電率、表面電流、バルク電流、表面吸着特性、表面吸収特性、又は音響特性である、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記標的部位が、細胞、DNA構造、組織、細菌、又は器官を含む、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記感知器が、前記一般領域の特性を測定することが可能であり、前記標的部位及び前記非標的部位の測定された特性を比較することにより前記標的部位を識別することが可能である、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記感知器が、細胞表面の静止電位を測定することが可能であり、前記癌性細胞と前記正常細胞とを識別することが可能である電圧比較器である、請求項8に記載の微小担体。
- 前記第1の薬物が、細胞膜受容体タンパク質、上皮成長因子受容体、インスリン様増殖因子タイプ1受容体、又は血管内皮増殖因子受容体である、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 位置検出器、ロジック処理ユニット、メモリユニット、微小モーター、信号送信器、信号受信器、微小針、微小ナイフ、微小ピンセット、微小カッタ、微小ハンマ、微小遮蔽体、微小染料、微小ピン、微小ナイフ、微小スレッドホルダ、微小光吸収体、微小鏡、微小遮蔽体、微小ホイーラ、微小フィルタ、微小チョッパ、微小シュレッダ、微小ポンプ、微小吸収体、微小信号検出器、微小ドリル、微小吸引器、信号発生器、摩擦感知器、電荷感知器、温度感知器、硬さ検出器、音波発生器、光波発生器、熱発生器、微小冷蔵庫、又は電荷発生器を更に含む、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記ロジック処理ユニットが、前記薬物が放出される前に、前記感知器又は前記位置検出器により収集されたデータを分析することができ、随意に、次の動きを決定することができる、請求項11に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小モーターが、随意に、前記ロジック処理ユニット又は前記位置検出器の指示に従うことにより、前記微小担体を前記一般領域又は前記標的部位に移動させることが可能である、請求項11に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、生体適合性無機材料、生体適合性半導体材料、又は生分解性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記生分解性材料が、天然生物材料、合成生物材料、合成高分子材料、又は有機材料である、請求項14に記載の微小担体。
- 前記生分解性合成高分子材料が、アミド、無水物、又はエステル基を含む骨格を有する、請求項15に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、2オングストローム〜5ミリメートルの範囲のサイズを有する、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、100オングストローム〜500ミクロンの範囲のサイズを有する、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、その使用後に1ミクロンよりも小さな小片に分解することが可能である、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、マイクロエレクトロニクス製造技術を含む集積回路生産プロセスにより製作される、請求項1に記載の微小担体。
- 前記微小担体が、癌、糖尿病、又は血液関連疾患の治療用である請求項1に記載の微小担体。
