シリンジアセンブリであって、流体を保持するための流体チャンバーを画定する内面を有する側壁を含む流体バレル、上記流体チャンバー内に配置されるプランジャーロッドであって、遠位端、近位端、上記遠位端から上記近位端まで延びるプランジャーロッド本体、および、上記バレルの内面との流体密封シールを形成するための上記プランジャーロッドの遠位端に配置されたストッパーを含む、上記プランジャーロッド、上記流体バレルの側壁に近接して配置された格納バレルであって、該格納バレルは、ニードルチャンバーを画定する内面を有する壁を含む、上記格納バレル、上記流体チャンバーと、上記ニードルチャンバーと、ニードルハブアセンブリとの間の流体連通を可能にする、上記格納バレルの壁と上記流体バレルの側壁との間の開口であって、上記ニードルハブアセンブリは、ニードルハブ、該ニードルハブに取り付けられ、上記開口と流体連通にあり、近位方向へ移動するように付勢されている、ニードルカニューラを含む、上記開口、および、上記ニードルチャンバー内に配置され、上記格納バレル内で回転可能なトリガー部材であって、上記ニードルカニューラの早過ぎる格納を防止するトリガーガードを含む、上記トリガー部材、を含む、シリンジアセンブリを提供すること、および、

を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 方法であって、該方法は、
流体を保持するための流体チャンバーを画定する内面を有し、開放近位端および遠位壁を含む遠位端を有する側壁を含む流体バレルであって、上記流体チャンバーの側壁の内面は、上記近位端に近接して保持リングを含む、上記流体バレル、上記流体チャンバー内に配置されたプランジャーロッドであって、該プランジャーロッドは、遠位端、近位端、上記遠位端から上記近位端まで延びるプランジャーロッド本体を含み、上記プランジャーロッド本体は、弾性突起および壊れやすい部分、および、上記バレルと流体密封シールを形成するために上記プランジャーロッドの遠位端に配置されたストッパーを含む、上記プランジャーロッド、上記流体バレルの側壁に近接して配置された格納バレルであって、該格納バレルは、ニードルチャンバーを画定する内面を有する壁、上記近位端に近接して配置された第一ロック部材、上記流体チャンバーと上記ニードルチャンバーとニードルハブアセンブリの間の流体連通を可能にする、上記格納バレルの壁と上記流体バレルの側壁との間の開口を含み、上記ニードルハブアセンブリは、ニードルハブ、該ニードルハブに取り付けられたニードルカニューラを含み、該ニードルカニューラは、上記開口と流体連通にあり、近位方向に移動するように付勢されている、上記格納バレル、および、上記ニードルチャンバー内に配置され、上記プランジャーロッドとは独立して上記格納バレル内で回転可能なトリガー部材であって、上記トリガー部材は、上記ニードルカニューラの早過ぎる格納を防止するトリガーガードを含む、上記トリガー部材、を含むシリンジアセンブリを提供すること、および、
上記ニードルカニューラを液体に挿入することによって上記流体チャンバーに予め選定された量の液体を吸引し、上記プランジャーロッドに遠位方向の力を付与することによって、上記流体チャンバーから上記液体を排出し、上記プランジャーロッドに遠位方向の連続的な力を付加することによって上記流体バレル内に上記プランジャーロッドをロックして、上記プランジャーロッドの突起が上記流体バレルの上記保持リングを通過して遠位に移動することをもたらし、遠位方向に上記トリガー部材が移動するのを可能にするため上記トリガーガードを整列させ、上記ニードルカニューラを上記格納バレル内に格納させることを可能にするトリガーの力を提供するため、上記トリガーガードに遠位方向の力を付加することによって、上記格納バレル内に上記ニードルカニューラを引き込むことの指示を提供すること、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
