- ターニップ・モザイクウイルス抵抗性ブラッシカ属(Brassica)植物であって、
(a)ターニップ・モザイクウイルスに対して非機能的である、植物真核細胞の翻訳開始因子4Eアイソフォーム(eIF(iso)4E)と、
(b)配列番号60のアミノ酸配列を含むeIF(iso)4E.cタンパク質をコードしているBraA.eIF(iso)4E.c遺伝子座における対立遺伝子と
を含み、
前記eIF(iso)4Eアイソフォームガが非機能的であるのは、前記eIF(iso)4Eをコードしている核酸が、BraA.eIF(iso)4E.a遺伝子座におけるイントロン1の5’スプライス部位の+1位におけるグアニンの挿入を含む対立遺伝子の結果としてミススプライスされているためであり、前記ブラッシカ属植物が、BraA.eIF(iso)4E.a遺伝子座における非機能的対立遺伝子についてホモ接合であり、前記ブラッシカ属植物が、BraA.eIF(iso)4E.c遺伝子座における対立遺伝子についてホモ接合又はヘテロ接合であることを特徴とする、ブラッシカ属植物。 - 前記ブラッシカ属植物が、B.ナプス(napus)植物、B.ラパ(rapa)植物、又は、B.オレラセア(oleracea)植物である、請求項1に記載のブラッシカ属植物。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のブラッシカ属植物を生み出す種子。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のブラッシカ属植物によって生産される種子。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のブラッシカ属植物の、植物の部分。
