Abstract
【解決手段】第1のポリマーを含むコアと、スルホン酸化ポリエステルを含み、第1のポリマーとスルホン酸化ポリエステルとが異なる、コアの周囲に配置されたシェルと、シェル層全体に配置された複数の銀ナノ粒子とを含むナノコンポジット。有効直径が25〜500nmであることが好ましいナノコンポジット。

Description
0.425モル当量のテレフタレート、0.080モル当量のナトリウム 5−スルホイソフタル酸、0.4501モル当量の1,2−プロパンジオール、0.050モル当量のジエチレングリコールで構成される分岐したアモルファススルホン酸化ポリエステル樹脂を以下のように調製した。加熱した底部ドレイン弁、高粘度ダブルタービン攪拌機および冷水凝縮器を備える蒸留受け器を取り付けた1リットルのParr反応器に、388グラムのテレフタル酸ジメチル、104.6グラムのナトリウム 5−スルホイソフタル酸、322.6グラムの1,2−プロパンジオール(1モル過剰のグリコール)、48.98グラムのジエチレングリコール(1モル過剰のグリコール)、トリメチロールプロパン(5グラム)、および触媒として0.8グラムの酸化水酸化ブチルスズを投入した。反応器を攪拌しつつ、3時間かけて165℃まで加熱し、次いで、再び1時間かけて190℃まで加熱し、その後、周囲圧力から約260Torrまで1時間かけて圧力をゆっくりと下げ、次いで、2時間かけて5Torrまで下げた。次いで、30分間かけて圧力を1Torrまでさらに下げ、底部ドレインを通り、ドライアイスで冷却した容器にポリマーを取り出し、460グラムのスルホン酸化ポリエステル樹脂を得た。分岐したスルホン酸化ポリエステル樹脂は、ガラス転移温度が54.5℃(開始)であり、軟化点が154℃であると測定された。
3ッ口の500mL丸底フラスコにオーバーヘッドスターラー、環流凝縮器、熱電対、ホットプレートおよび窒素投入口(凝縮器が窒素出口として作用する)を取り付け、反応を行った。125mLの脱イオン水を室温(22℃)でフラスコに投入した。窒素を溶液に流しつつ(RPM=330)、水を攪拌しながら90℃まで加熱した。次いで、50.0gの微細に粉砕されたBSPE−1固体をDIW(RPM=400)に加えた。溶液を90℃で2時間攪拌した(RPM=400)。次いで、BSPEエマルションを攪拌しながら室温まで冷却した(RPM=400)。最終的な外観は、白色不透明溶液であった。
スチレン、アクリル酸n−ブチルおよびβ−カルボキシアクリル酸エチル(βCEA)の乳化重合から作られるポリマー粒子で構成されるラテックスエマルションを以下のように調製した。
3ッ口の500mL丸底フラスコにオーバーヘッドスターラー、環流凝縮器、熱電対、ホットプレートおよび窒素投入口(凝縮器が窒素出口として作用する)を取り付け、反応を行った。50.00gのDIWおよび50.00gのEP08を室温(22℃)でフラスコに投入した。ホットプレートを60℃に設定し、窒素をこの系に流した(RPM=250)。温度が安定化したら、3.57gのBSPEストック溶液(固体25.65%)および46.43gのDIWの混合物を約1滴/秒の速度で滴下した。溶液を加えた後、この混合物を60℃で1.5時間混合した。この溶液を室温まで冷却した(RPM=250)。最終的な外観は、白色不透明溶液であった。
3ッ口の500mL丸底フラスコにオーバーヘッドスターラー、環流凝縮器、熱電対、ホットプレートおよび窒素投入口(凝縮器が窒素出口として作用する)を取り付け、反応を行った。240mLのDIWを室温(22℃)でフラスコに投入した。ホットプレートを90℃に設定し、窒素をこの系に流した(RPM=300)。温度が安定化したら、5.95gの固体BSPE−1を、微細に粉砕した状態でこの系に加えた(RPM=300)。この溶液は、濁り、青色の色合いであった。0.5時間後、0.0768gのAgNO3を5mLのDIWに溶解したものをこの溶液に約1滴/秒の速度で滴下した(RPM=300)。溶液は、わずかに暗色になった(褐色がかっている)。0.5時間後、5mLの1%(w/w%)クエン酸三ナトリウム溶液(還元剤)をこの系に約1滴/秒の速度で滴下した。終了したら、溶液を90℃で2時間攪拌した(RPM=300)。この溶液を室温まで冷却した(RPM=300)。最終的な外観は、桃色のわずかに濁った溶液であった。
溶液A:実施例5。
溶液B:3ッ口の500mL丸底フラスコにオーバーヘッドスターラー、環流凝縮器、熱電対、ホットプレートおよび窒素投入口(凝縮器が窒素出口として作用する)を取り付け、反応を行った。50.00gのEP08および50.00gのDIWを室温(22℃)でフラスコに投入した。ホットプレートを60℃に設定し、窒素をこの系に流した(RPM=250)。次いで、50.00gの溶液Aを約1滴/秒の速度でこのフラスコに滴下した。溶液Aを加えた後、混合物を60℃で2.5時間混合した。この溶液を室温まで冷却した(RPM=250)。最終的な外観は、白色不透明溶液であった。
Claims (10)
- ナノコンポジットであって、
第1のポリマーを含むコアと;
スルホン酸化ポリエステルを含み、第1のポリマーとスルホン酸化ポリエステルとが異なる、コアの周囲に配置されたシェルと;
シェル層全体に配置された複数の銀ナノ粒子とを含む、ナノコンポジット。 - ナノコンポジットは、有効直径が約25nm〜約500nmの範囲である、請求項1に記載のナノコンポジット。
- コアは、第1のポリマーのエマルションの一部であり、第1のポリマーは、スチレン、アクリル酸n−ブチル、メタクリル酸およびβ−カルボキシアクリル酸エチル(β−CEA)からなる群から選択される1つ以上のモノマー単位を含む、請求項1に記載のナノコンポジット。
- 第1のポリマーが、ポリスチレン−コ−アクリル酸n−ブチル(PSnBA)である、請求項1に記載のナノコンポジット。
- スルホン酸化ポリエステルが分岐している、請求項1に記載のナノコンポジット。
- コア−シェルナノコンポジットを製造する方法であって、
水中でスルホン酸化ポリエステル樹脂を約65℃〜90℃の温度で加熱することと;
加熱したスルホン酸化ポリエステルに銀(I)イオン源水溶液を滴下し、エマルションを作成することと;
場合により、このエマルションに還元剤の水溶液を滴下することと;
このエマルションを、水中のポリスチレン−コ−アクリル酸n−ブチルラテックスナノ粒子に滴下し、加熱を続け、コア−シェルナノコンポジットを作成することとを含む、方法。 - ナノコンポジットは、有効直径が約25nm〜約500nmの範囲である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- スルホン酸化ポリエステルが分岐している、請求項6に記載の方法。
- スルホン酸化ポリエステルが、ポリ(1,2−プロピレン−5−スルホイソフタレート)、ポリ(ネオペンチレン−5−スルホイソフタレート)、ポリ(ジエチレン−5−スルホイソフタレート)、コポリ−(1,2−プロピレン−5−スルホイソフタレート)−コポリ−(1,2−プロピレン−テレフタレートフタレート)、コポリ−(1,2−プロピレンジエチレン5−スルホイソフタレート)−コポリ−(1,2−プロピレン−ジエチレン−テレフタレートフタレート)コポリ(エチレンネオペンチレン−5−スルホイソ−フタレート)−コポリ(エチレン−ネオペンチレン−テレフタレートフタレート)、およびコポリ(プロポキシル化ビスフェノールA)−コポリ−(プロポキシル化ビスフェノールA−5−スルホイソフタレート)からなる群から選択されるポリマーのナトリウム塩、カリウム塩またはリチウム塩である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載のナノコンポジットを含む物品。
