Claims (10)
- 複数の画素を含み、映像を表示する表示パネルと、
外部物体のタッチを感知する複数のタッチセンサ電極と、
前記複数のタッチセンサ電極との間で相互キャパシタンスを生成する複数の感知入力電極と、を含み、
前記複数のタッチセンサ電極は、前記映像を表示する表示領域内に位置し、
前記複数の感知入力電極は、前記表示パネルの周縁領域のうちの前記映像を表示しないブラックマトリックス領域と重畳する領域に位置することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記タッチセンサ電極は、セルフキャパシタンス方式および相互キャパシタンス方式のうちの少なくとも一方により外部物体のタッチを感知することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルと接続されている感知走査駆動部と、
前記タッチセンサ電極および前記感知入力電極と電気的に接続されており、前記感知走査駆動部から感知入力信号の入力を受けて前記タッチセンサ電極および前記感知入力電極に伝達する感知入力信号線と、
前記表示パネルと接続されている感知信号処理部と、
前記タッチセンサ電極と電気的に接続されており、前記タッチセンサ電極から感知出力信号を受信して前記感知信号処理部に伝達する感知出力信号線と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記タッチセンサ電極は、前記セルフキャパシタンス方式によって生成された第1感知出力信号を、第1感知出力信号線を通じて前記感知信号処理部に伝達し、前記相互キャパシタンス方式によって生成された第2感知出力信号を、第2感知出力信号線を通じて前記感知信号処理部に伝達することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記感知信号処理部は、前記タッチセンサ電極から前記セルフキャパシタンス方式によって生成された第1感知出力信号および前記相互キャパシタンス方式によって生成された第2感知出力信号のうちの少なくとも一方を用いてタッチ座標を抽出することを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記感知信号処理部は、前記第1感知出力信号と前記第2感知出力信号とを組み合わせて前記タッチ座標を抽出することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記感知信号処理部は、前記タッチセンサ電極の位置毎に、前記第1感知出力信号の値と前記第2感知出力信号の値の平均値を算出して二つの信号を組み合わせ、前記平均値に組み合わせられた信号に対して補間法を用いて前記タッチ座標を抽出することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記感知信号処理部は、前記第1感知出力信号に対して補間法を用いて第1タッチ座標を抽出し、前記第2感知出力信号に対して前記補間法を用いて第2タッチ座標を抽出し、前記第1タッチ座標と前記第2タッチ座標との平均値により前記タッチ座標を抽出することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルと接続されているタッチセンサ制御部と、
前記タッチセンサ電極および前記感知入力電極と電気的に接続されており、前記タッチセンサ制御部から感知入力信号の入力を受けて前記タッチセンサ電極および前記感知入力電極に伝達し、前記タッチセンサ電極から感知出力信号を受信して前記タッチセンサ制御部に伝達する感知信号線と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記タッチセンサ電極は、前記セルフキャパシタンス方式によって生成された第1感知出力信号を、第1感知信号線を通じて前記タッチセンサ制御部に伝達し、前記相互キャパシタンス方式によって生成された第2感知出力信号を、第2感知信号線を通じて前記タッチセンサ制御部に伝達することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。
