Claims (15)
- LIDAR(光検出と測距)デバイスと、
LIDARターゲットと、
前記LIDARターゲットに接触する逆反射物質とを備えたシステムであって、
前記LIDARデバイスが、前記LIDARターゲットに光ビームを向けるように構成されている、システム。 - 前記逆反射物質が、第一の波長範囲内の光に対して逆反射性であり、且つ、第二の波長範囲の光に対して非逆反射性である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第一の波長範囲が赤外線を含み、前記第二の波長範囲が可視光を含む、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第一の波長範囲が第一の赤外線範囲を含み、前記第二の波長範囲が第二の赤外線範囲を含む、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記逆反射物質が、時間経過と共に前記LIDARターゲットから払い落とされるように構成された逆反射粉末を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記逆反射物質が、逆反射ペイント、逆反射コーティング、逆反射テープ、逆反射布、逆反射表面仕上げ、又はこれらの組み合わせを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記逆反射物質が、前記LIDARデバイスからの入射電磁ビームを受光して、且つ前記入射電磁ビームを反射電磁ビームとして前記LIDARデバイスに反射させて戻すように構成された逆反射構造を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記反射電磁ビームの発散角が前記入射電磁ビームの発散角に実質的に等しい、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記逆反射構造が立方体又は逆反射ボールを含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記逆反射構造が、第一の波長範囲内の光を実質的に通過させて且つ第二の波長範囲内の光を実質的に遮断するフィルタを更に含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記LIDARデバイスと前記LIDARターゲットとの間の距離が20フィート(6.1メートル)よりも長い、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 電磁波源からの入射電磁ビームを逆反射物質において受光するステップと、
第一の波長範囲内の光を実質的に通過させて且つ第二の波長範囲内の光を実質的に遮断するように前記入射電磁ビームを前記逆反射物質においてフィルタリングするステップと、
前記入射電磁ビームを反射電磁ビームとして前記逆反射物質から前記電磁波源に逆反射させて戻すステップとを備えた方法。 - 前記逆反射物質でターゲットの表面を覆うステップを更に備えた請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記電磁波源において前記反射電磁ビームを受光して、前記入射電磁ビーム及び前記反射電磁ビームの測定された飛行時間に基づいて、前記電磁波源と前記ターゲットとの間の距離を決定するステップを更に備えた請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記電磁波源において前記反射電磁ビームを受光して、前記反射電磁ビームを介して二次元で前記ターゲットを追跡するステップを更に備えた請求項12から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
