Claims (3)
- 事業者のRF信号をルーティングし且つスイッチングするための方法であって、
1つ又は複数のダウンリンク無線周波数を受信し且つ1つ又は複数のアップリンク無線周波数を送信するようにそれぞれが構成された、1つ又は複数の遠隔無線ユニットを用意するステップと、
少なくともいくつかの遠隔無線ユニットと通信するように構成された少なくとも1つのデジタルアクセスユニットを用意するステップと、
前記アップリンク信号及び前記ダウンリンク信号をRFとベースバンドの間で適宜、変換するステップと、
前記アップリンクベースバンド信号及び前記ダウンリンクベースバンド信号をパケット化するステップと、
前記1つ又は複数の無線ユニット及び前記少なくとも1つのデジタルアクセスユニットの間で前記パケット化された信号をルーティングし且つスイッチングするステップと、
を備える方法。 - 無線ユニットのネットワーク内のワイヤレスネットワーク加入者を位置特定するための方法であって、
各無線ユニットにおいて、加入者デバイスによって受信されるように構成された一意のパイロットビーコンを生成するステップと、
中央ロケーションにおいて、加入者デバイスから、前記加入者デバイスによって受信された前記少なくとも1つのパイロットビーコンを識別する標識を受信するステップと、
前記受信された標識に基づいて、前記加入者の近似のロケーションを特定するステップと、
を備える方法。 - 無線ユニットのネットワーク内のワイヤレスネットワーク加入者を位置特定するための方法であって、
無線ユニットのネットワーク内の少なくとも1つの無線ユニットにおいて、加入者デバイスから、キャリア周波数上及びタイムスロット上で緊急信号を受信し、前記緊急信号を遠隔の局に転送するステップと、
複数の無線ユニットにおいて、前記遠隔の局から、前記緊急信号によって使用される識別されたキャリア周波数及びタイムスロットが活性であるかどうかについてのクエリを受信するステップと、
前記識別されたキャリア周波数及びタイムスロットが活性である前記無線ユニットにおいて応答するステップと、
前記応答に基づいて、前記加入者の近似のロケーションを特定するステップと、
を備える方法。
