Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、イリジウム化合物にβ−ジケトンを反応させるトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法において、前記イリジウム化合物に(a)アルカリ処理:前記イリジウム化合物の溶液にアルカリを添加し、溶液のpHをアルカリ添加前よりアルカリ側であり、且つ、pH10以上にする処理と、(b)酸処理:前記アルカリ処理をした前記溶液に酸を添加し、溶液のpHを酸添加前より酸性側としつつ、酸添加前後の溶液のpH差を0.1以上10以下とする処理と、を含む活性化処理を行ってイリジウム化合物を活性化した後、β−ジケトンを反応させることを特徴とするトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法である。

(b)酸処理:前記アルカリ処理をした前記溶液に酸を添加し、溶液のpHを酸添加前より酸性側とし、且つ、酸添加前後の溶液のpH差を0.1以上10以下とする処理。
Claims (6)
- イリジウム化合物に化1で示されるβ−ジケトンを反応させることで、イリジウムに前記β−ジケトンが配位した化2で示されるトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムを製造する方法において、
前記イリジウム化合物に、下記の(a)アルカリ処理と(b)酸処理とを含む活性化処理を行いイリジウム化合物を活性化した後、β−ジケトンを反応させることを特徴とするトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法。
(a)アルカリ処理:前記イリジウム化合物の溶液にアルカリを添加し、溶液のpHをアルカリ添加前よりアルカリ側であり、且つ、pH10以上にする処理。
(b)酸処理:前記アルカリ処理をした前記溶液に酸を添加し、溶液のpHを酸添加前より酸性側とし、且つ、酸添加前後の溶液のpH差を0.1以上10以下とする処理。
- アルカリ処理(a)におけるアルカリ添加後のpHを12以上とする請求項1記載のトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法。
- アルカリ処理(a)におけるアルカリ添加前後の溶液のpH差を2以上13以下とする請求項1又は請求項2記載のトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法。
- 酸処理(b)における酸添加前後の溶液のpH差を1以上10以下とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載のトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載のトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法により化学蒸着用の原料化合物を製造する方法。
- 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載のトリス(β−ジケトナト)イリジウムの製造方法により有機発光素子用燐光材料の中間原料を製造する方法。
