Abstract
Description
本願明細書は、例えば、以下の項目も提供する。
(項目1)
現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを誘導する方法において、
モードグループ指示子と予測モードインデックスをエントロピー復号化するステップ;
3個のイントラ予測モードを含むMPMグループを構成するステップ;
前記モードグループ指示子が前記MPMグループを示すかどうかを判断するステップ;
前記モードグループ指示子が前記MPMグループを示す場合、前記予測モードインデックスにより特定される前記MPMグループ内のイントラ予測モードを現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードとして決定するステップ;及び、
前記モードグループ指示子が前記MPMグループを示さない場合、前記予測モードインデックスと前記MPMグループ内の3個のイントラ予測モードを利用して現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを誘導するステップ;
を含むことを特徴とするイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目2)
前記現在予測のイントラ予測モードを誘導するステップは、
前記予測モードインデックスがMPMグループの第1の候補より大きい又は同じ場合、前記予測モードインデックスの値を1ほど増加させるステップ;
前記予測モードインデックスがMPMグループの第2の候補より大きい又は同じ場合、前記予測モードインデックスの値を1ほど増加させるステップ;
前記予測モードインデックスがMPMグループの第3の候補より大きい又は同じ場合、前記予測モードインデックスの値を1ほど増加させるステップ;及び、
前記予測モードインデックスの値を現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードのモード番号に決定するステップ;
を含むことを特徴とする項目1に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目3)
前記第1の候補は、最も低いモード番号を有するイントラ予測モードであり、前記第2の候補は、中間モード番号を有するイントラ予測モードであり、前記第3の候補は、最も高いモード番号を有するイントラ予測モードであることを特徴とする項目2に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目4)
前記3個のイントラ予測モードは、第1の候補、第2の候補及び第3の候補を決定するために、モード番号の順序に再整列されることを特徴とする項目2に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目5)
前記MPMグループは、左側イントラ予測モード及び上側イントラ予測モードを利用して構成されることを特徴とする項目1に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目6)
左側イントラ予測モード及び前記イントラ予測モードのうち一つのみが利用可能な場合、MPMグループは、前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードと2個の追加イントラ予測モードで構成され、前記2個の追加イントラ予測モードは、前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードにより決定されることを特徴とする項目1に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目7)
前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードが2個の非方向性モードのうち一つの場合、前記2個の追加イントラ予測モードは、残りの一つの非方向性モードと垂直モードであることを特徴とする項目6に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目8)
前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードがプラナーモードの場合、前記2個の追加イントラ予測モードは、DCモードと垂直モードであることを特徴とする項目7に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目9)
前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードが方向性イントラ予測モードのうち一つの場合、前記2個の追加イントラ予測モードは、2個の非方向性モードであることを特徴とする項目6に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
(項目10)
前記2個の非方向性イントラ予測モードは、DCモードとプラナーモードであることを特徴とする項目9に記載のイントラ予測モード誘導方法。
Claims (5)
- 現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを決定する方法であって、
ビットストリームからモードグループ指示子と予測モードインデックスを取得するステップ;
左側ブロック及び上側ブロックのイントラ予測モードを利用して、3個のイントラ予測モードを含むMPMグループを構成するステップ;及び
前記モードグループ指示子と前記予測モードインデックスを利用して現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを誘導するステップを含み、
前記現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを誘導するステップにおいては、前記モードグループ指示子が前記MPMグループを示すと、前記MPMグループ内のイントラ予測モードのうち前記予測モードインデックスにより特定されるイントラ予測モードを現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードと決定し、前記モードグループ指示子が前記MPMグループを示さないと、前記予測モードインデックスと前記MPMグループ内の3個のイントラ予測モードを利用して現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを誘導し、
前記MPMグループを構成するステップにおいて、
前記左側ブロックのイントラ予測モードと前記上側ブロックのイントラ予測モードとが同一であり、前記左側ブロックのイントラ予測モードが2個の非方向性モードのうち一つであれば、前記MPMグループは、前記2個の非方向性モードと垂直モードで構成され、
前記左側及び上側ブロックのイントラ予測モードのうちいずれか一つのみが利用可能である場合に、前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードが前記2個の非方向性モードのうち一つであれば、前記MPMグループは、前記2個の非方向性モードと前記垂直モードで構成され、前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードが方向性予測モードのうち一つであれば、前記MPMグループは、前記2個の非方向性モードと前記利用可能なイントラ予測モードで構成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードを誘導するステップは、
前記予測モードインデックスがMPMグループの第1の候補より大きいか同じであれば、前記予測モードインデックスの値を1ほど増加させるステップ;
前記予測モードインデックスがMPMグループの第2の候補より大きいか同じであれば、前記予測モードインデックスの値を1ほど増加させるステップ;
前記予測モードインデックスがMPMグループの第3の候補より大きいか同じであれば、前記予測モードインデックスの値を1ほど増加させるステップ;及び
前記予測モードインデックスの値を現在予測ユニットのイントラ予測モードのモード番号と決定するステップ;を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の候補は、最も低いモード番号を有するイントラ予測モードであり、前記第2の候補は、中間モード番号を有するイントラ予測モードであり、前記第3の候補は、最も高いモード番号を有するイントラ予測モードであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記3個のイントラ予測モードは、第1の候補、第2の候補及び第3の候補を決定するために、モード番号の順序に再整列されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記2個の非方向性イントラ予測モードは、DCモードとプラナーモードであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
