Abstract
Description
本発明は、建設、エンジニアリング、建築産業、医療技術、材料化学などにおいて物体をともに結合する分野に関する。特に、本発明の方法は、親和性がなく、合金を形成しないポリマーを含むポリマー系物体をともに結合することに関する。
ポリマー材料の物体を結合することは、「物体のポリマーが熱可塑性である」、「ポリマーが類似温度で溶融する」、および「ポリマーが混和性である」という3つの条件のすべてが合致していなくても難しいことが多い。多くの場合、物体をともに結合するねじ、クランプ、取付けなどの補助要素が必要とされる。
発明の一局面によれば、第2の物体は、第1の物体に結合される。第2の物体は、熱可塑性材料を含み、第1の物体は、エラストマー性を有する少なくとも部分的に架橋されたポリマーまたはプレポリマーを含む第1の物体材料を含む。当該方法は、第1の物体材料が熱可塑性材料との界面付近でそのガラス転移温度を超えている間に熱可塑性材料が少なくとも部分的に液状化されるまで、かつ、熱可塑性材料が第1の物体材料のクラック、細孔および変形の少なくとも1つ内に貫通されるまで、第2の物体を第1の物体に押し当てて、第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップと、熱可塑性材料を再固体化させるステップとを含む。
図1は、本発明の実施形態の基本的な設備を示す。第1の物体1は、少なくとも部分的に架橋されており、エラストマー状態にあるかまたは加熱によりエラストマー状態とされた材料からなる。第1の物体はたとえばポリウレタンからなる。図示される構成においては、第1の物体は多孔性であり、閉細孔構造を有し、たとえば約10%の細孔体積の比較的低い多孔率を有している。
Claims (32)
- 第1の物体に第2の物体を結合する方法であって、前記方法は、
少なくとも部分的に架橋されたポリマーまたはプレポリマーを含有する第1の物体材料を含む前記第1の物体を提供するステップと、
熱可塑性材料を含む前記第2の物体を提供するステップと、
前記熱可塑性材料が少なくとも部分的に液状化され、かつ、前記熱可塑性材料が前記第1の物体材料のクラック、細孔および変形の少なくとも1つ内に貫通されるまで、前記第2の物体を前記第1の物体に押し当てて、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップとを含み、この間、前記第1の物体材料は、少なくとも前記熱可塑性材料が内部に貫通する前記クラック、細孔または変形付近でそのガラス転移温度を超えており、前記方法はさらに、
前記熱可塑性材料を再固体化させるステップを含む、方法。 - 前記第1の物体材料は、多孔性である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体材料は、非ポリマーフィラーをさらに含有する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体は、前記第1の物体材料からなる、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体は、前記第1の物体材料の部分を含み、前記第1の物体はさらに、さらなる材料の部分を含み、前記さらなる材料の部分は、前記熱可塑性ポリマーの再固体化後に確実な嵌め合いの接続が得られるように、前記熱可塑性ポリマーに溶接可能であるまたは前記熱可塑性ポリマーと互いに貫通し合うことが可能である、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ガラス転移温度TG,1および、前記熱可塑性材料がその温度を超えると流動可能となる温度Tfl,2について、Tfl,2>TG,1の関係が成立する、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体材料および前記熱可塑性材料は、第1に、前記第1の物体材料が溶融可能でないまたは前記第1の物体材料が溶融可能であるが前記熱可塑性材料と混和可能でないように、第2に、前記第1の物体材料および前記熱可塑性材料が、室温または前記熱可塑性材料がそれを超えると流動可能となる温度Tfl,2で互いに接触しても化学結合を生じないように選択される、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体内に結合されるエネルギは、機械的振動エネルギである、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記押し当てて、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップにおいて、前記第2の要素は、ソノトロードと前記第1の物体との間で圧縮される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体材料は、前記第2の要素内にエネルギを結合させるステップ中に、内部摩擦によりエネルギを吸収する、請求項8または9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体材料は、前記押し当てて、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップの後でも、前記第1の物体材料が内部応力下のままとなるように選択される、請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体は、前記押し当てて、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップの前に、前記第1の物体の対応する表面部分に接触する結合表面を含み、前記結合表面は、少なくとも1つの凸特徴を含む、請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの凸特徴は、少なくとも1つの先端または突起を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの凸特徴は、前記押し当てるステップの前に、前記第1の物体の前記対応する表面部分を通して動かされる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記押し当てるステップ中に、前記第2の物体の少なくとも一部分は、前記第1の物体材料が局所的に破断されるように前記第1の物体材料内に貫通される、請求項1から14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体の表面部分は尖って窪んでいる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体または前記第2の物体の凸特徴は、拡大部分と、前記拡大特徴の近位に、径方向延長部を有するネック部とを含み、前記径方向延長部は、少なくとも一方向において前記拡大部分の対応する径方向延長部より小さい、請求項15または16に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップの後にも、前記押し当てるステップは、圧力後期間中継続される、請求項1から17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体は、非液状可能な材料の本体と、前記熱可塑性材料の部分とを含む、請求項1から18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記本体は、前記熱可塑性材料によって少なくとも部分的に被覆されたコアを構成する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記本体は、前記近位側に通じるボアと前記結合表面に通じる少なくとも1つの開口とを含み、前記第2の物体はさらに、少なくとも1つの前記熱可塑性材料の要素を含み、前記要素は、前記結合表面に挿入され、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップ中の前記エネルギは、少なくとも部分的に前記熱可塑性要素内に結合される、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップ中、前記第1の物体は、少なくとも局所的にさらに架橋される、請求項1から21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体材料は、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップ中に形状記憶を維持する、請求項1から22のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記押し当てるステップは、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップの前に行われる、請求項1から23のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記押し当てるステップは、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップと同時に行われる、請求項1から23のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記押し当てるステップは、まず第1の押圧力で押し当てるサブステップと、次に、第2のより高い押圧力で押し当てるサブステップとを含む、請求項1から25のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 第3の物体を提供するステップと、前記第3の物体を前記第2の物体によって前記第1の物体に固定するステップとをさらに含む、請求項1か26のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第3の物体は、確実な嵌め合いの接続によって固定される、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記押し当てて、前記第2の物体内にエネルギを結合させるステップにおいて、前記第2の物体の前記熱可塑性材料は、前記第2の物体と前記第3の物体との界面で液状化される、請求項27または28に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の物体と前記第3の物体との界面で液状化される前記第2の物体の前記熱可塑性材料は、前記第3の物体の構造と互いに貫通し合い、確実な嵌め合いの接続が得られる、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記第3の物体は、前記第2の物体の前記熱可塑性材料に溶接される熱可塑性領域を含む、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の物体は、凹部を含み、前記第2の物体は、前記凹部に適合された形状を有する、請求項1から31のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
