Abstract
Description
・ 固有粘度(IV)は、ASTM−D1601/2004に従い、135℃でデカリン中、16時間の溶解時間で、2g/l溶液の量で酸化防止剤としてDBPCを用いて、異なる濃度で測定される粘度をゼロ濃度まで外挿することによって決定される。IVとMwとの間にはいくつかの経験的関係が存在するが、このような関係はモル質量分布に大きく依存する。式Mw=5.37*104[IV]1.37(欧州特許出願公開第0504954A1号明細書を参照)に基づいて、4.5dl/gのIVは、約422kg/molのMwに相当するであろう。
式中、Φは繊維の直径(マイクロメートル)である。Φは、長さ(例えば、スケール)を測定するためのデバイスを備えた光学顕微鏡を用いて、あるいは走査電子顕微鏡法によって決定することができる。フィラメントの場合、フィラメントの長さにそってランダムな場所で少なくとも100個のその直径の値が決定され、これを用いて、前記フィラメントに特有の平均直径を計算する(そして、これはΦであると考えられる)ことが好ましい。ステープル繊維の場合、少なくとも10個の値を使用して、前記ステープル繊維の平均直径を計算する(そして、これはΦであると考えられる)ことが好ましい。糸が種々のタイターを有する繊維を含有する場合、繊維のΦは、本明細書では、糸を作る全ての繊維のΦを平均することによって得られる直径であると考えられる。糸が大量の繊維、例えば100本よりも多い繊維を含有する場合、Φは、糸から100本の繊維をランダムに選択し、これらの繊維のΦを平均することによって得られる。
DSM Dyneema(登録商標)(NL)によって販売され、3.51N/texの糸靱性と、1760dtexの糸タイターと、2denの繊維タイターとを有するポリエチレンSK75糸を含有する芯ロープ構成を用いて、被覆ロープの形態の製品を構成した。20本のSK75 1760dtex糸をロープストランドに束ねた。このようなロープストランドのうちの12本を芯ロープ構成に編組みした。芯ロープ構成は約10mmの直径、64mmの編組周期、46.4g/mの重量長さ、85840Nの破壊力(force at break)、および1.85N/texの靱性を有した。
比較実験Aを繰り返したが、カバー構成は、17denの繊維タイターと共に1.78N/texの糸靱性を有する、6600dtexのUHMWPE糸の24本のストランドから作製した。カバー構成は、18.24g/mの重量/長さを有した。
Claims (12)
- 複数の交絡糸を含む耐摩耗性製品であって、少なくとも第1の糸が、N/tex単位のTS値を持つ引張強度を有し、前記第1の糸が、den単位のT値を持つ繊維当たりのタイターを有する複数のUHMWPE繊維を含有し、T/TS比が少なくとも5den.tex/Nであることを特徴とする耐摩耗性製品。
- 前記T/TS比が少なくとも6den.tex/Nであり、より好ましくは少なくとも7den.tex/N、最も好ましくは少なくとも8den.tex/Nである、請求項1に記載の製品。
- 前記複数のUHMWPE繊維が、少なくとも6den、より好ましくは少なくとも9den、さらにより好ましくは少なくとも11den、最も好ましくは少なくとも14denのタイターを有する、請求項1または2に記載の製品。
- 前記第1の糸が、0.5〜2.2N/texの範囲、より好ましくは0.8〜2.0N/texの範囲、最も好ましくは1.0〜1.8N/texの範囲の引張強度を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
- 複数の高性能繊維を含有する第2の糸をさらに含み、前記第2の糸が前記第1の糸とは異なる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
- 前記第2の糸が、少なくとも2.2N/tex、より好ましくは少なくとも2.4N/tex、さらにより好ましくは少なくとも2.7N/tex、最も好ましくは少なくとも3.0N/texの引張強度を有する、請求項5に記載の製品。
- 前記複数の交絡糸が編組物、編物、織物またはこれらの任意の組み合わせである、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
- 前記製品が、ファブリック、ロープ、網、スリング、ベルトを含むリストから選択される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
- 鞘部分および芯部分を含み、前記シート部分が前記第1の糸を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
- 前記鞘部分がファブリックであり、好ましくは織物または編組物であり、最も好ましくは中空織物である、請求項8に記載の製品。
- 前記芯部分が、前記第2の糸を含むロープ状構成である、請求項8または9に記載の製品。
- 前記製品が、前記第1の糸を含む耐摩耗性鞘部分を含むロープまたはラウンドスリングである、請求項7〜10のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
