Claims (10)
- 患者に植え込まれるように構成されているハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内の第1場所に配置されていて前記第1場所での磁場の第1方向を表す信号を生成するように構成されている第1磁場方向センサと、
前記ハウジング内の第2場所に配置されていて前記第2場所での前記磁場の第2方向を表す信号を生成するように構成されている第2磁場方向センサと、
前記磁場の強度を表す信号を生成するように構成されている磁場強度センサと、
前記磁場の発生源を、前記磁場の前記強度を表す前記信号、前記磁場の前記第1方向を表す前記信号、及び前記磁場の前記第2方向を表す前記信号、のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて識別するように構成されている制御モジュールと、を備えている装置。 - 前記制御モジュールは、前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の絶対差を求めるように、及び前記磁場の前記発生源を少なくとも前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の前記絶対差に基づいて識別するように、構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記制御モジュールは、
前記磁場の強度を前記磁場強度センサによって生成される前記信号に基づいて求めるように、
前記磁場の前記強度を強度閾値に比較するように、
前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の前記絶対差を発散閾値に比較するように、
前記磁場の前記強度が前記強度閾値より大きく且つ前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の前記絶対差が前記発散閾値より小さい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を磁気共鳴画像化装置の一次磁石であると識別するように、構成されている、請求項1又は2の何れか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記制御モジュールは、前記磁場の前記強度が前記強度閾値より大きく且つ前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の前記絶対差が前記発散閾値より大きいか又はそれに等しい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を手持ち式磁気装置であると識別するように構成されている、請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記制御モジュールは、前記磁場の前記発生源を前記MRI装置の前記一次磁石であると識別したことに応えてMRIモードで作動するように、また前記磁場の前記発生源を前記手持ち式磁気装置であると識別したことに応えてテレメトリヘッドモードで作動するように、構成されている、請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記制御モジュールは、前記磁場の前記強度が前記強度閾値を超えていることに応えて、前記第1及び前記第2の磁場方向センサをパワーアップするように構成されている、請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記制御モジュールは、
前記磁場の前記強度を強度閾値に比較するように、
前記磁場の大きさが前記強度閾値を超えていることに応えて、磁石モードで作動するように、
前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の前記絶対差を発散閾値に比較するように、及び、
前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の前記絶対差が前記発散閾値より小さい場合、MRIモードに移行するように、構成されている、請求項1から6の何れか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記制御モジュールは、
前記磁場の強度を前記磁場強度センサによって生成される前記信号に基づいて求めるように、
前記磁場の前記強度を上限強度閾値に比較するように、及び、
前記磁場の前記強度が前記上限強度閾値より大きい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を磁気共鳴画像化(MRI)装置の一次磁石であると識別するように、構成されている、請求項1から7の何れか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記制御モジュールは、
前記磁場の前記強度が前記上限強度閾値より大きくない場合、前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の絶対差を求めるように、
前記絶対差を発散閾値に比較するように、
前記絶対差が前記発散閾値より小さい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を前記MRI装置の前記一次磁石であると識別するように、及び、
前記絶対差が前記発散閾値より大きいか又はそれに等しい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を手持ち式磁気装置であると識別するように、構成されている、請求項1から8の何れか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記装置は、前記ハウジング内の第3場所に配置されていて前記第3場所での前記磁場の第3方向を表す信号を生成するように構成されている第3磁場方向センサを更に備えており、
前記制御モジュールは、
前記第1方向と前記第2方向の間の絶対差を求めるように、
前記第1方向と前記第3方向の間の絶対差を求めるように、
前記第2方向と前記第3方向の間の絶対差を求めるように、
前記絶対差の各々を発散閾値に比較するように、
前記絶対差のうちの何れかが前記発散閾値より大きいか又はそれに等しい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を手持ち式磁気装置であると識別するように、及び、
前記絶対差のどれもが前記発散閾値より大きくもなければそれに等しくもなく且つ前記磁場の前記強度が強度閾値より大きい場合、前記磁場の前記発生源を前記MRI装置の前記一次磁石であると識別するように、構成されている、請求項1から9の何れか1項に記載の装置。
