Abstract
Description
温度調節衣類は、着用者の身体に対して加温又は排熱するための温度装置を含む衣類である。温度調節衣類は、幅広い製品に組み込むことができ用途が広い。例えば、温度調節ジャケットは、寒い日は人を温め、暑い日は人を冷やすことができる。同様に、温度調節ブレース又は包帯は、身体部分を冷やし(例えば、怪我の後に生じる腫れを低減させ)たり、身体部分を温め(例えば、筋肉痛を緩和させ)たりするのに用いることができる。
本願明細書に記載の装置及び方法は、着用者の身体の少なくとも一部を加温及び/又は冷却する温度調節衣類を提供する。以前のデザインと比べて、本願明細書に記載の装置は、ヒートシンクを備え、上記ヒートシンクは、その種類の中で最も軽いものである。ヒートシンクの厚さは水平熱伝達が非常に高くなるように最適化され、ヒートシンク上の表面構造は最適な放熱速度をもたらす。ヒートシンクに配置される湿潤素材は、過度の伝熱抵抗又は熱容量を与えない、所望量の冷却液(例えば、水)を保持するように構成される。熱電装置に供給される電力を任意に周期的に供給することによって、所望の加温及び/又は冷却速度が成し遂げられ、ユーザーの加温及び/又は冷却知覚性が向上する。本願明細書に記載の装置及び方法は、多種多様な衣類の用途及びアイテム(ジャケット、ブーツ、ヘルメット、包帯及びブレースを含む)において効果的な加温及び/又は冷却をもたらす。
請求項に記載の本発明にかかるシステム、装置、方法及び製造方法は、本願明細書に記載の実施形態由来の情報又は教示を用いて発展させた変更形態及び改変形態を含むと考えられる。本願明細書に記載の装置、システム、方法及び製造方法の改変形態及び/又は修正形態は、当業者によって実施し得るものであり、全ては、本発明の範囲内であると考えられる。
Claims (27)
- ユーザーの身体を加温又は冷却するための装置であって、前記装置は、
熱電性モジュールと、
前記熱電性モジュールの表面と熱的に結合するヒートシンクと、
前記ヒートシンクと熱的に連通する湿潤素材と、
10%超の動作周期に従って前記熱電性モジュールに周期的に供給するコントローラーと、を備える装置。 - 供給タンクと、
前記湿潤素材及び前記供給タンクと接続している供給ラインと、を更に備え、
前記供給ラインは、前記供給タンクから前記湿潤素材に液体を輸送するウィッキング素材を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ヒートシンクは、約1mmから約15mmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒートシンクに前記湿潤素材を固定する拘束層を更に備え、
前記湿潤素材は、前記ヒートシンクと前記拘束層との間に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ヒートシンクは、(i)エッチングされた表面と、(ii)密着表面と、を少なくとも1つを備え、
前記密着表面は、約0度から約90度までの屈曲角を有する屈曲を形成している、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記湿潤素材は、(i)抗菌剤と、(ii)親水性素材と、を少なくとも1つ備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記湿潤素材は、約1mmから約3mmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記湿潤素材は、(i)ティッシュと、(ii)綿と、を少なくとも1つ備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- バッテリー及びスイッチ式電気接続を更に備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、衣類に組み込まれ、
前記衣類は、ネックラップ、肘パック、膝パック、バックパック、アンクルパック、ユニバーサルパック、加温ジャケット、冷却ジャケット、加温冷却ジャケット、抗漏出パック、ヘッドバンド、腹部パッド、靴のインソール、被服、履物、自動車の座席、及び、ヘルメットからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記熱電性モジュールは、約100mm2から約2000mm2の伝熱表面積を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- ユーザーの身体の一部を加温又は冷却するための方法であって、前記方法は、
少なくとも10%の動作周期で熱電性モジュールに電力を周期的に供給するステップと、
前記熱電性モジュールからヒートシンクに熱を伝達させるステップと、
前記ヒートシンクに配置された湿潤素材から液体を蒸発させるステップと、を有し、
前記蒸発液体は、周囲の大気に入る、方法。 - 供給ラインを通じて供給タンクから前記湿潤素材へ液体を輸送するステップを、更に有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記液体を前記湿潤素材に加えるステップを更に有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 周期電力は、(i)約30%から約100%の動作周期と、(ii)約1分から約10分の周期と、を少なくとも1つ含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 熱を前記熱電性モジュールに伝達させるステップは、約0.2Wから約200Wの伝熱速度を有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記液体を蒸発させるステップは、約0.2Wから約200Wの伝熱速度を提供する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記熱電性モジュールの低温側は、約-10℃から約30℃の温度を有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒートシンクの温度は、少なくとも約30℃である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 関節炎、テニス肘、ゴルフ肘、片頭痛、月経痛、背痛、及び、足首の捻挫の少なくとも1つを治療するステップを有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- ユーザーに電気刺激を提供するステップを更に有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記液体は、アロマセラピーを提供する香料を有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- ユーザーの身体の一部を加温又は冷却するための装置を製造する方法であって、前記方法は、
ヒートシンクを提供するステップと、
エッチング剤を用いて前記ヒートシンクの表面をエッチングして、その有効表面積を増加させるステップと、
前記ヒートシンクを熱電性モジュールに取り付けるステップと、
前記ヒートシンク上に湿潤素材を配置するステップと、
拘束層を備える前記ヒートシンクに前記湿潤素材を固定するステップと、を有する方法。 - 前記湿潤素材は、前記ヒートシンクと前記拘束層との間に配置される、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 約10度から約90度の屈曲角を前記ヒートシンクに導入するステップを更に有する、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記熱電性モジュールをバッテリーパックと電気的に接続するステップを更に有する、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記熱電性モジュールを衣類のアイテムに組み込むステップを更に有し、
前記衣類のアイテムは、ネックラップ、肘パック、膝パック、バックパック、加温ジャケット、冷却ジャケット、加温冷却ジャケット、抗漏出パック、ヘッドバンド、腹部パッド、靴のインソール、被服、履物、自動車の座席、及び、ヘルメットからなる群より選択される、請求項23に記載の方法。
