Abstract
Description
技術分野
本願の開示の技術分野は、一般的には制御システムに関し、より具体的には自動制御装置(automatic control devices)のオペレーションに関する情報へのセキュアなアクセスを地理的に場所を異にするユーザに提供するシステム及び方法に関する。
本願は、2011年10月24日に出願された「工業的プロセスを管理するためのシステム及び方法」と題する米国仮出願第61/550,795号からの、35 U.S.C. § 119(e)による優先権を主張し、その全体が参照により取り込まれる。
一部の実施態様では、ローカルエリアネットワークを介して1以上のコンピュータシステムを用いて、自動制御装置の発見、設定、及び監視を実現する、オートメーション制御システムが実装される。図1は、これらの実施態様の1つ、即ちオートメーション制御システム100、を示す。図1に示すように、オートメーション制御システム100は、モバイルコンピューティング装置106、自動制御装置108、110、112、及び114、並びにローカルネットワーク116を含む。モバイルコンピューティング装置106は、既知の装置情報データ記憶部122並びに2つの制御装置インターフェース124:ブラウザ118及びネーティブクライアント120を含む。図1に示す例においては、オートメーション制御システム100及びモバイルコンピューティング装置106のユーザ104は、物理的な場所102(例えば、製造プラント)内に配置されている。
図1との関連で上述したように、本願にて述べる様々な観点及び機能は、1以上のコンピュータシステムにて実行される特化したハードウェア及びソフトウェアコンポーネントとして実装されることができる。現在使用されているコンピュータシステムの例は数多くある。これらの例には、他のものもあるが、次のものが含まれる。即ち、ネットワークアプライアンス、パーソナルコンピュータ、ワークステーション、メインフレーム、ネットワークドクライアント、サーバ、メディアサーバ、アプリケーションサーバ、データベースサーバ及びウェブサーバ。コンピュータシステムの他の例には、携帯電話やパーソナルデジタルアシスタント等のモバイルコンピューティング装置並びにロードバランサ、ルータやスイッチ等のネットワーク機材が含まれることができる。また、機能は単一のコンピュータシステムに所在することもできるし、又は1以上のネットワークに接続された複数のコンピュータシステムに分散されて所在することもできる。
図1との関連で上述したように、一部の実施態様ではローカルネットワークとデータ通信可能な自動制御装置を発見するプロセスを行う。一部の実施態様では、この発見プロセスはモバイルコンピューティング装置106又は他のコンピュータシステム等のモバイルコンピューティング装置によって実行される。このようなプロセスの一例は図3に示す。この例によれば、発見プロセス300は、発見リクエストを発するステップ、応答を受信するステップ、応答している装置のタイプを決定するステップ、及びリクエストに応答した自動制御装置の描写を表示するステップを含む。
上述したように、本願にて開示する一部の実施態様は、モバイルコンピューティング装置上での自動制御装置発見プロセスを支援するユーザインターフェース画面をレンダリングする。図5は、このような1つの実施態様による例示的なユーザインターフェース画面500を示す。図5に示すように、ユーザインターフェース画面500は、ネットワークのスキャンボタン502及び自動制御装置リスト504を含む。
Claims (20)
- モバイルコンピューティング装置を含むシステムであって、
前記モバイルコンピューティング装置は、
メモリと
ネットワークとデータ通信可能なネットワークインターフェースと、
前記メモリ及び前記ネットワークインターフェースに接続されている少なくとも1つのプロセッサと、
前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサによって実行される制御装置インターフェース
とを含み、
前記制御装置インターフェースは、
前記ネットワークインターフェースを介して、第1のプロトコルに準拠してエンコードされた発見リクエストを、前記ネットワークとデータ通信可能な複数の自動制御装置のうちの少なくとも1つの自動制御装置に提供し、
前記ネットワークインターフェースを介して、前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置からの前記発見リクエストに対しての応答を、受信し、
前記ネットワークインターフェースを介して、第2のプロトコルに準拠してエンコードされた識別リクエストを、前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置に提供し、
前記ネットワークインターフェースを介して、前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置からの前記識別リクエストに対しての応答を、受信し、
前記識別リクエストに対しての応答に応じて前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置を自動制御装置として識別する
ように設定されており、前記第2のプロトコルは工業的プロトコルである、システム。 - 前記制御装置インターフェースは、前記モバイルコンピューティング装置上に常駐するネーティブアプリケーションとして実装されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置をさらに備える請求項1に記載のシステムであって、前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置はウェブサーバを実行しており、並びに、前記制御装置インターフェースは前記ウェブサーバ及び前記モバイルコンピューティング装置上に常駐するウェブブラウザを介して実装されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のプロトコルは、MODBUS、UMAS、TCP/IP over Ethernet、BACnet、LON、C-BUS、DMX512、JCI-N2、及びZigBeeの少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記モバイルコンピューティング装置はユーザインターフェースを含み、前記制御装置インターフェースは前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置の描写を前記ユーザインターフェース内に表示するようにさらに設定されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御装置インターフェースは、

第2のプロトコルに準拠してエンコードされた識別リクエストを、前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置に提供するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置からの前記識別リクエストに対しての応答を、受信するステップと、
前記識別リクエストに対しての応答に応じて前記少なくとも1つの自動制御装置を自動制御装置として識別するステップ
