Abstract
Description
[1]生体内の骨を治療する装置であって、
骨に取り付けられるように構成されたインプラントと、
前記インプラントの第1の部分の歪みを測定する第1のセンサであって、前記インプラントが目標位置で骨に接続された場合に骨の脆弱部分に機械的に接続されるように構成された第1のセンサと、
骨の非脆弱部分の歪みを測定する第2のセンサと、
を含む装置。
[2]前記インプラントは、骨折部位の上にある骨に接続されるように構成されたプレートである、上記1に記載の装置。
[3]前記第2のセンサは、前記骨の非脆弱部分に直接接続されるように構成されている、上記1に記載の装置。
[4]手術位置にある場合に、前記第2のセンサが前記骨の非脆弱部分の皮質壁に接触するように、前記第2のセンサが、前記骨の非脆弱部分に挿入された骨固定要素の一部に取り付けられている、上記1に記載の装置。
[5]前記第2のセンサは、前記骨固定要素の近位部の外周の周りに延在している、上記4に記載の装置。
[6]前記インプラントは、剛性部分と、前記剛性部分よりも小さい屈曲剛性を有する柔軟性部分とを含み、前記第2のセンサは前記柔軟性部分に取り付けられている、上記1に記載の装置。
[7]前記第2のセンサは、前記骨に対する荷重を測定する荷重センサである、上記1に記載の装置。
[8]前記第1のセンサによる前記骨折部位全体の歪みの測定と同時に前記骨を含む脚に対する荷重を測定するために、前記第2のセンサは靴の中に配置されるように構成されている、上記2に記載の装置。
[9]前記第1および第2のセンサは、無線で外部データ収集装置にデータを提供する、上記1に記載の装置。
[10]前記第1および第2のセンサは、MEMSセンサおよびプリント回路基板に接続された受動チップのうちの1つである、上記9に記載の装置。
[11]骨治癒の経過を追跡するシステムであって、
骨の骨折部位を固定するインプラントであって、前記インプラントが目標位置で前記骨に取り付けられた場合に前記骨の骨折部位に機械的に接続された位置でそこに取り付けられた、歪みを測定する第1のセンサを含むインプラントと、
前記第1の歪みと前記第2の歪みとの比が、前記骨に対する荷重の作用を正規化し、かつ前記骨折部位が治癒するにつれて増加する剛性を示すように、前記骨折部位から離れた前記骨の部分の歪みを測定する第2のセンサと、
を含むシステム。
[12]骨固定要素をさらに含み、前記骨固定要素が所望の位置まで前記骨に挿入された場合に前記第2のセンサが前記骨の皮質壁に接触するように前記第2のセンサはその近位端に取り付けられている、上記11に記載のシステム。
[13]前記インプラントは、柔軟性部分および剛性部分を含み、前記剛性部分の屈曲剛性は前記柔軟性部分の屈曲剛性よりも大きく、前記第2のセンサは前記柔軟性部分に取り付けられており、前記第1のセンサは前記剛性部分に取り付けられている、上記11に記載のシステム。
[14]前記インプラントが目標構成で骨に接続された場合に前記柔軟性部分の両側にある前記インプラントの開口から挿入される第1および第2の固定ねじをさらに含む、上記13に記載のシステム。
[15]前記インプラントが所望の構成で骨に接続された場合に前記骨の骨折部位に機械的に接続されたインプラントの第1の部分の歪みを測定する工程と、
第2のセンサによって、前記骨折部位から離間している第2の歪みを測定する工程と、
前記第1のセンサで測定された前記歪みと前記第2のセンサで測定された前記歪みとの比を決定して前記骨に対する荷重の作用を正規化する工程と、
を含む方法。
[16]前記第2のセンサは、前記インプラントが前記所望の構成で前記骨に接続された場合に前記骨折部位から離間される前記骨の硬い部分にある前記インプラントの第2の部分に取り付けられる、上記15に記載の方法。
[17]前記インプラントの周囲の外側の前記骨の硬い部分に前記第2のセンサを取り付ける工程をさらに含む、上記15に記載の方法。
[18]前記骨の硬い部分に骨固定要素を挿入する工程をさらに含み、前記骨固定要素が前記骨に挿入されている場合に、前記第2のセンサが前記骨の皮質壁に接触してその変形を測定するように、前記第2のセンサが前記骨固定要素の近位部の外周の周りに延在している、上記15に記載の方法。
[19]前記第1および第2のセンサからの前記歪み測定値は、体外に維持される装置によって無線で得られる、上記15に記載の方法。
[20]前記第1および第2のセンサは、MEMSセンサおよびプリント回路基板に接続された受動チップのうちの1つである、上記19に記載の方法。
Claims (1)
- 生体内の骨を治療する装置であって、
骨に取り付けられるように構成されたインプラントと、
前記インプラントの第1の部分の歪みを測定する第1のセンサであって、前記インプラントが目標位置で骨に接続された場合に骨の脆弱部分に機械的に接続されるように構成された第1のセンサと、
骨の非脆弱部分の歪みを測定する第2のセンサと、
を含む装置。
