Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a light source device including a light emitting element, a circuit board, and a first heat radiating section.
As shown in Patent Document 1, a vehicle headlamp is known that includes an LED, a drive circuit that controls driving of the LED, and a heat dissipation member that dissipates heat generated by the LED and the drive circuit. Each of the LED and the drive circuit is directly attached to the heat dissipation member.
As described above, in the vehicle headlamp disclosed in Patent Document 1, each of the LED and the drive circuit is directly attached to the heat dissipation member. For this reason, heat generated in the LED (light emitting element) is transferred to the drive circuit (circuit board) through the heat radiating member (first heat radiating portion), which may cause the circuit board to generate heat.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a light source device in which heat generated in a light emitting element is suppressed from being transferred to a circuit board.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a light emitting element (10), a circuit board (20) on which a driving circuit for driving the light emitting element is formed, and a first heat radiating portion for radiating heat generated in the light emitting element. (30) and a resin part (40) having a lower thermal conductivity than the first heat dissipation part, the light emitting element is mounted on the first heat dissipation part, and the circuit board is provided via the resin part. It is mounted on.
Thus, according to this invention, the circuit board (20) is mounted in the 1st thermal radiation part (30) which thermally radiates the heat which arises in a light emitting element (10) via the resin part (40). Therefore, heat generated in the light emitting element (10) is transferred to the circuit board (20) through the first heat radiating part (30) as compared with the configuration in which the circuit board is mounted on the first heat radiating part together with the light emitting element. It is suppressed.
The resin part is a part of the covering part (40) that covers and protects a part of the circuit board, and the circuit board is mounted on the first heat radiating part via the covering part. According to this, the resin part (40) has a function of covering and protecting the circuit board (20) and a function of suppressing the amount of heat transfer to the circuit board (20). Therefore, the resin part has only a function of suppressing the amount of heat transfer, and an increase in the size of the circuit board (20) is suppressed as compared with the configuration formed on the circuit board (20) along with the drive circuit.

This is to simply show the correspondence with the elements, and does not necessarily indicate the elements themselves described in the embodiments. The description of the reference numerals with parentheses does not unnecessarily narrow the scope of the claims.
DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a vehicle headlamp will be described with reference to the drawings.
(First embodiment)
The light source device according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. Hereinafter, the three directions orthogonal to each other are referred to as an x direction, a y direction, and a z direction. In this embodiment, the y direction is along the vehicle advancing / retreating direction, the x direction is along the vehicle left-right direction, and the z direction is along the vehicle top-bottom direction. In FIG. 2, a
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The
The first
The covering
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As described above, the
A part of the second
The
As shown in FIG. 5, the fixing
The
Next, functions and effects of the
The covering
The
The second
In the direction along the traveling direction of light of the
The preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above.
As shown in FIG. 4, in this embodiment, the
