Abstract
Description
たとえば、腕時計型のコンピュータや、眼鏡型のコンピュータなどが有る。
ユーザが常に身に着けている特性から、体調管理やライフログの記録など、これまでにない新たな機能を提供するものとして注目を集めている。
したがって、このような多様な指の太さに対応することができないといった問題点である。
これによって、使用者に、この使用者が行なった指の動作結果を認知させることができ、誤操作を防止することができる。
図1において、符号1は、本実施形態に係わるジェスチャ入力装置を示し、このジェスチャ入力装置1は、リング状の本体2と、この本体2内に内装され、前記指の動きを検出する動作検出手段3を備え、前記本体2が、この本体2の外形を形成するアウターケース2aと、このアウターケース2a内に同心状に嵌合固定されるインナーケース2bとからなり、前記アウターケース2aの内周面と前記インナーケース2bの外周面との間に、前記動作検出手段3が収納される収納凹部Cが形成されている。
これによって、使用者の指の動作情報の検出を高精度に行なうことができる。

Claims (7)
- 使用者の指に装着されて、この指の動きを検出して遠隔機器の操作情報を創出するジェスチャ入力装置であって、リング状の本体と、本体内に内装され、前記指の動きを検出する動作検出手段を備え、前記本体が、この本体の外形を形成するアウターケースと、このアウターケース内に同心状に嵌合固定されるインナーケースとからなり、前記アウターケースの内周面と前記インナーケースの外周面との間に、前記動作検出手段が収納される収納凹部が形成されていることを特徴とするジェスチャ入力装置。
- 前記動作検出手段が、直交した2軸まわりの回転を検出する一対のジャイロセンサを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のジェスチャ入力装置。
- 前記動作検出手段が、前記本体の移動の加速度を検出する加速度センサを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のジェスチャ入力装置。
- 前記動作検出手段が、前記本体への接触を検出するタッチセンサを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3の何れかに記載のジェスチャ入力装置。
- 前記動作検出手段が、前記動作検出手段に駆動電力を供給するバッテリを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4の何れかに記載のジェスチャ入力装置。
- 前記動作検出手段が、この動作検出手段の動作状況を告知する発光体を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5の何れかに記載のジェスチャ入力装置。
- 前記動作検出手段が、この動作検出手段の動作状況を告知するバイブレータを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5の何れかに記載のジェスチャ入力装置。
