Description

The present invention relates to a sash structure for a vehicle door in which a gap filling member is press-fitted into a sash portion of a door body and a glass run is mounted.

A typical automobile door has a window opening formed by a door main body and a sash portion, and a door glass for opening and closing the window opening is disposed so as to be able to be moved up and down, and the glass that seals between the door glass on the sash portion. It has a structure with a run.

Conventionally, in such a vehicle door, as shown in FIG. 4, an up stopper 21 made of an elastic body having a substantially W-shaped cross section is provided in a bag-like closed space of the sash portion 20. The leg piece 21b is press-fitted while elastically deforming the leg piece 21b (see a two-dot chain line in FIG. 4) to fill the gap between the upper surface 22a of the glass run 22 and the upper wall surface 20a of the sash portion 20 (for example, Patent Document 1). reference). Thereby, the vertical dimension a of the glass run 22 is reduced to reduce the cost, and the deformation of the glass run 22 due to the abutment load when the door glass 23 is raised is prevented.

By the way, from the viewpoint of enhancing the design effect of the entire door, the design surface may be enlarged by increasing the exterior surface 20b of the sash portion 20 by the dimension b. In such a case, since the vertical dimension of the closed space of the sash portion 20 'also increases, it is necessary to prepare an up stopper 21' having a height dimension corresponding to the dimension.

However, as described above, if the height of the up stopper is simply increased, the posture of the up stopper may not be stable depending on the design of the closed space, and there is a concern that the up stopper may come off and the sealing performance may deteriorate. . For example, the vehicle inner lower end 21b ′ may be disengaged when the vehicle outer lower end 21b ′ is displaced outward (in the direction of the arrow c) with the vehicle outer upper end 21a ′ of the up stopper 21 ′ as a fulcrum.

As a countermeasure, it is conceivable to fix the up stopper to the door inner panel in advance by welding. However, in this way, after the door inner panel is press-molded, the upper stopper is welded and joined to the door inner panel, and thereafter, the outer edge portions of the door inner panel and the door outer panel are hemmed, and the work process Becomes complicated and the productivity of the door decreases. For this reason, the up stopper must be press-fitted after hemming.

Further, the conventional structure has a problem that since the single up stopper is manually press-fitted into the sash portion, it takes time to obtain positional accuracy and the workability is low.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional situation, and can prevent deterioration of the sealing performance due to the shift of the up stopper without reducing the productivity of the door, and can improve the assembling performance. The challenge is to provide a structure.

The present invention includes a door main body and a sash portion that forms a window opening with the door main body, and the sash portion has a substantially bag-shaped cross section in which a lower opening that is opened downward by an outer panel and an inner panel is formed. In the sash structure of the vehicle door, the gap member is press-fitted into the sash portion from the lower opening, and the glass run in contact with the gap member is attached to the lower opening.
An extension member that protrudes toward the lower surface of the upper wall in the sash portion is disposed in the gap filling member, and when the gap filling member is press-fitted into the sash portion from the lower opening, The upper end surface is configured to contact the lower surface of the upper wall.

According to the sash structure of the present invention, the gap filling member that is press-fitted into the sash portion is provided with the extending member that protrudes toward the lower surface of the upper wall in the sash portion, and the gap filling member is disposed from the lower opening. When press-fitted into the sash portion, the upper end surface of the extending member is in contact with the lower surface of the upper wall of the sash portion.

With this configuration, the gap filling member is positioned in the sash with the upper end surface of the extending member being in contact with the lower surface of the upper wall of the sash, the posture is stable, and the gap filling member is displaced. Can be prevented. Thereby, compared with the case where it arrange | positions in a sash part only with the elastic force of the conventional gap filling member, a positional accuracy can be improved and the improvement of the sealing performance between a sash part and a glass run can be aimed at.

In the present invention, since the gap filling member is provided with an extending member so as to fill the gap between the lower surface of the upper wall of the sash portion and the upper surface of the glass run, the vertical dimension of the sash portion is increased from the relationship of the door design. In this case, it is possible to easily cope with this by simply setting the length of the extending member according to the vertical dimension. As a result, the gap filling member can be fixed in a stable posture without changing the vertical dimension, and a decrease in productivity as in the case of welding as described above can be avoided.

Further, since the gap filling member does not need to be changed in the vertical dimension, it can be shared with other vehicle types, and the cost of parts can be reduced accordingly.

In the present invention, the extending member is assembled to the gap filling member, and the extending member is first inserted into the sash portion from the lower opening portion toward the lower surface of the upper wall, and then the gap filling member is press-fitted. Therefore, the extending member functions as a guide at the time of assembling, and it is easy to work as compared with the case of press-fitting a conventional gap filling member alone, and the assembling property can be improved.

It is a side view of the door for vehicles by Example 1 of the present invention. It is sectional drawing (II-II line sectional drawing of FIG. 1) of the sash part of the said door. It is a perspective view of the up stopper arrange | positioned at the said sash part. It is sectional drawing of the sash part for demonstrating the formation process of this invention.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 1 to 3 are views for explaining a sash structure of a vehicle door according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, front and rear and left and right mean front and rear and left and right as viewed in the forward direction of the vehicle.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a front door viewed from the interior side of a vehicle. This front door 1 is of a press door type in which outer peripheral edge portions 3a, 4a of a press-molded door outer panel 3 and door inner panel 4 are integrally hemmed.

The front door 1 includes a hollow door main body 1a and a sash portion 1b that forms a window opening 1c with the door main body 1a.

In the window opening 1c, the door glass 5 is disposed so as to be able to move up and down between a fully closed position at which the window opening 1c is closed and a fully opened position stored in the door body 1a. Further, door hinge portions 1d and 1d for attaching a hinge on the vehicle body (not shown) are formed at the front end portion of the door body 1a.

As shown in FIG. 2, the sash portion 1b is formed with a lower opening portion 1e that is connected to the outer edge portions 3a and 4a of the door outer panel 3 and the door inner panel 4 and is directed to the window opening 1c. It has a substantially bag-like closed space 1b 'extending in the front-rear direction.

The door inner panel 4 of the sash portion 1b has an upper wall portion 4b that extends and bends inward following the lower edge of the outer edge portion 4a, and an inner wall that bends and extends downward following the inner edge of the upper wall portion 4b. A vertical wall portion 4c and an inclined wall portion 4d that bends and extends obliquely downward and outward from the vehicle following the lower end of the inner vertical wall portion 4c. The inclination angle of the inclined wall portion 4d is restricted by the press formability of the door inner panel 4, and there is a restriction in reducing the inclination angle.

The door outer panel 3 of the sash portion 1b includes an outer vertical wall portion 3b that extends downward following the outer edge portion 3a, and a flange portion that bends in a stepped manner on the vehicle inner side following the lower edge of the outer vertical wall portion 3b. 3c. The flange portion 3c and the inclined wall portion 4d form the lower opening 1e.

In the outer vertical wall portion 3b of the sash portion 1b, the vertical dimension A forming the design surface thereof is set to a value larger than that of a general sash portion. Accordingly, the vertical dimension of the closed space portion 1b 'is also increased.

In the sash portion 1b, a pair of front and rear up stoppers (gap filling members) 8 made of an elastic body are press-fitted and fixed. Further, a glass run 10 having a length extending over the entire length is attached to the lower opening 1e of the sash 1b.

The glass run 10 is made of rubber or the like, and has a main body portion 10a having a substantially U-shaped cross section, an inner lip portion 10b, 10b extending inward following the outer opening lower edge of the main body portion 10a, The main body portion 10a has a structure in which the outer grip portions 10c and 10c are integrally formed in the main body portion 10a, and the outer grip portion 10c and the inner grip portion 10c are bent and extended outward.

The glass run 10 is inserted so that the main body portion 10a is positioned in the lower opening 1e, and the inclined wall portion 4d and the flange portion 3c are interposed between the main body portion 10a and the inner and outer grip portions 10c, respectively. By being inserted, it is fitted and fixed to the sash portion 1b. Thereby, the space between the sash portion 1b and the glass run 10 is sealed.

The inner and outer lip portions 10b are in contact with each other when the door glass 5 is not in the intrusion state, and are elastically deformed and pressed against the door glass 5 when the door glass 5 is in the ingress state. Thereby, the space between the glass run 10 and the door glass 5 is sealed.

The up stopper 8 is made of a sheet metal having a substantially W-shaped cross section. When the glass run 10 is attached, the upper stopper 8 is in contact with the contact portion 8a with which the upper surface of the main body 10a contacts. Left and right vertical side portions 8b and 8c extending upward following the left and right edge portions of the portion 8a, and left bent and formed so as to come into pressure contact with the outer wall portion 3b of the door outer panel 3 following the left vertical side portion 8b. The pressure contact portion 8d has a right pressure contact portion 8e that is bent and extended downward and is bent so as to be in pressure contact with the corner portion of the inclined wall portion 4d of the door inner panel 4 following the right vertical side portion 8c. Here, the up stopper 8 may be made of resin.

Further, the left and right pressure contact portions 8d and 8e of the up stopper 8 are respectively formed with a lightening hole 8f, and the contact portion 8a is formed with a pair of positioning reference holes 8g (see FIG. 3). .

Here, an angle θ formed by a straight line connecting the left and right pressure contact portions 8d and 8e of the up stopper 8 and a straight line passing through the upper surface of the inclined wall portion 4d of the door inner panel 4 is 90 degrees or less. Is set. By setting in this way, it is possible to prevent the up stopper 8 from being displaced. Specifically, it is possible to prevent the right pressure contact portion 8e from being displaced along the inclined wall portion 4d with the left pressure contact portion 8d as a fulcrum. That is, as shown in FIG. 4 described above, when the angle θ ′ formed when the up stopper 21 ′ having a size corresponding to the vertical dimension of the sash portion 20 ′ is adopted exceeds 90 degrees, the up stopper 21 ′ is displaced. It tends to occur easily.

The up stopper 8 is provided with an extending member 12 that protrudes toward the upper wall portion 4b in the sash portion 1b. The extending member 12 is composed of a rigid member made of POM (polyacetal) resin or the like.

The extending member 12 bends toward the vehicle outer end side so as to be slightly inclined toward the vehicle outer end portion of the upper wall portion 4b of the door inner panel 4 following the lower portion 12a and the lower portion 12a. And an upper portion 12b formed as described above.

The extending member 12 is fixed to the up stopper 8 by press-fitting the lower portion 12a into a recess formed by the contact portion 8a of the up stopper 8 and the left and right vertical side portions 8b and 8c. Yes. The fixing of the extending member 12 is not limited to press-fitting, but may be fastened and fixed by an adhesive or a member such as a screw.

The extension member 12 has a vertical length B set so that the upper end surface 12c contacts the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b when the up stopper 8 is press-fitted and fixed into the sash portion 1b from the lower opening 1e. Has been. That is, the length B of the extending member 12 is set according to the vertical dimension of the upper wall portion 4b from the contact portion 8a of the up stopper 8 press-fitted into the sash portion 1b. Thereby, the gap between the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b and the upper surface of the glass run 10 can be filled without changing the vertical dimension of the up stopper 8.

The outer peripheral edge portions 3a and 4a of the door outer panel 3 and the door inner panel 4 that are press-molded are joined together by hemming to form a sash portion 1b.

In assembling the up stopper 8 to the sash portion 1b, the extension member 12 is press-fitted and fixed to the up stopper 8 in advance. Next, the extending member 12 is inserted into the closed cross section 1b 'from the lower opening 1e of the sash 1b, and then the left pressure contact portion 8d of the up stopper 8 is inserted and brought into contact with the outer vertical wall 3d. In this state, the right pressure contact portion 8e is elastically deformed and inserted into the lower opening portion 1e and fitted into the corner portion of the inclined wall portion 4d.

As a result, the upper end surface 12c of the extending member 12 is pressed against the upper wall portion 4b, and the tip end portion 12c 'of the upper end surface 12c abuts against the corner portion C between the outer vertical wall portion 3b and the upper wall portion 4b. The up stopper 8 is press-fitted and fixed by the left and right pressure contact portions 8d and 8e of the up stopper 8 being stretched between the outer vertical wall portion 3d and the inclined wall portion 4d by elastic force. Thereafter, the glass run 10 is attached to the lower opening 1 e and the main body 10 a is brought into contact with the contact 8 a of the up stopper 8.

Thus, according to the present embodiment, the extending member 12 protruding toward the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b in the sash portion 1b is fixed to the up stopper 8, and the up stopper 8 is moved from the lower opening portion 1e to the sash portion 1b. When press-fitted in, the upper end surface 12c of the extending member 12 comes into contact with the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b, and the front end portion 12c 'of the upper end surface 12c is a corner between the outer vertical wall portion 3b and the upper wall portion 4b. I tried to hit part C.

With this configuration, the upper stopper 8 has the upper end surface 12c of the extending member 12 in contact with the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b of the sash portion 1b, the tip end portion 12c 'abuts against the corner portion C, and the left and right sides. Since the pressure contact parts 8d and 8e are supported in a state of pressure contact with the outer vertical wall part 3b and the inclined wall part 4d, they are fixed in a stable posture, and the up stopper 8 is prevented from being displaced or detached. it can. Thereby, the positional accuracy of the up stopper 8 can be improved, and the sealing performance between the sash portion 1b and the glass run 10 can be improved.

In the present embodiment, the extension member 12 is fixed to the up stopper 8 so that the gap between the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b of the sash portion 1b and the upper surface of the main body portion 10a of the glass run 10 is filled. Even when the vertical dimension A of 1b is increased to enhance the design effect, it can be easily dealt with by simply setting the length B of the extending member 12 in accordance with the vertical dimension A. As a result, the up stopper 8 can be fixed in a stable posture without changing the vertical dimension, and the above-described decrease in productivity in the case of welding can be avoided.

Further, since there is no need to change the vertical dimension of the up stopper 8, it is possible to make it common with other vehicle types, so that the cost of parts can be reduced and the part management can be simplified.

In this embodiment, as described above, the extending member 12 of the up stopper 8 is first inserted into the sash portion 1b from the lower opening 1e toward the lower surface of the upper wall portion 4b, and then the up stopper 8 is press-fitted. Therefore, the extending member 12 functions as a guide for assembling, and the assembling property can be improved.

Further, the upper portion 12b of the extending member 12 is bent toward the vehicle outer side end portion so as to be slightly inclined toward the vehicle outer side end portion of the upper wall portion 4b of the door inner panel 4 following the lower portion 12a. Since it formed in this way, it can avoid that the upper part 12b of the extending member 12 interferes with the said downward opening part 1e, the inner vertical wall part 4c, etc. at the time of the said assembly | attachment operation | work, and an assembly property can also be improved from this point.

In this embodiment, since the upper end surface 12c of the extending member 12 is brought into contact with the upper wall portion 4b of the sash portion 1b, it is possible to suppress the bottoming sound caused by the vehicle body vibration transmitted through the door glass 5. . Here, the extending member may be made of rubber, and in this case, noise caused by vehicle body vibration can be further suppressed.
