Abstract
Description
Claims (25)
- 2つの表面が相対運動を行ないながら互いに接触する2つの表面の間の摩耗を低減する方法であって、
2つの表面の間に摺動接触の結果として生成される凝集摩耗粒子の内部にせん断線を生じさせる量及び組成で、ナノ粒子を2つの表面の間に導入することと、
2つの表面のうちの少なくとも1つの表面を使用して凝集摩耗粒子に少なくとも1回の荷重を加えることにより、せん断線に沿って凝集摩耗粒子を多数の更に小さな摩耗粒子に解砕することと
を含む方法。 - ナノ粒子を導入することが、
流体潤滑剤を介して2つの表面の間にナノ粒子を導入すること、
乾燥粉末を介して2つの表面の間にナノ粒子を導入すること、
2つの表面のうちの1つ以上へのコーティングを介してナノ粒子を2つの表面の間に導入すること、及び
摺動接触している2つの表面のうちの一方の成分として、ナノ粒子を2つの表面の間に導入すること
のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - ナノ粒子を導入することが、六方晶窒化ホウ素(hBN)、二硫化モリブデン(MoS2)、及び二硫化タングステン(WS2)のうちの少なくとも1つを機械加工プロセスに導入することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ナノ粒子を導入することが、約0.1重量パーセント〜約10重量パーセントの六方晶窒化ホウ素(hBN)を、互いに摺動接触している2つの鋼材表面の間に利用される流体潤滑剤に導入することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ナノ粒子を導入することが、約0.1重量パーセント〜約10重量パーセントの、二硫化モリブデン(MoS2)及び二硫化タングステン(WS2)のうちの一方を、互いに摺動接触しているチタン表面と鋼材表面との間に利用される流体潤滑剤に導入することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ナノ粒子を導入することが、ナノ粒子を、少なくとも1つの凝集摩耗粒子の内部に埋め込むことを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ナノ粒子を導入することが、特定のナノ粒子を、重量百分率で、2つの表面の間に収容される潤滑剤及び機械加工流体のうちの少なくとも一方に添加することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 更に、荷重下で粒子の解砕を引き起こすように、2つの表面を形成して十分な数のせん断線を少なくとも1つの凝集摩耗粒子に生じさせる材料と、ナノ粒子の組成を一致させることを含む、請求項1ないし7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 更に、特定のナノ粒子によって可能になる摩耗低減量に対する特定のナノ粒子のコストの比較結果を使用して、2つの表面の間の摩耗を低減するようにナノ粒子の組成を選択することを含む、請求項1ないし8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 更に、2つの表面の間の領域にナノ粒子を導入するために利用される流体潤滑剤の可使粘度を保持することにより、2つの表面の間の摩耗を低減するようにナノ粒子の組成を選択することを含む、請求項1ないし8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 互いに摺動接触している2つの表面の摩耗を低減する方法であって、
ナノ粒子を使用して、2つの表面の間に摺動接触の結果として凝集する摩耗粒子を不安定化させることと、
不安定化し、凝集した摩耗粒子を、更に小さな粒子片に破壊することと
を含む方法。 - 不安定化させることが、2つの表面の間に生成される凝集摩耗粒子の内部にせん断線を生じさせる量及び組成で、ナノ粒子を2つの表面の間に導入することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 破壊を生じさせることが、圧力を凝集摩耗粒子に加えることにより、せん断線に沿って摩耗粒子を多数の更に小さな摩耗粒子に破壊することを含む、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- 不安定化させることが、六方晶窒化ホウ素(hBN)、二硫化モリブデン(MoS2)、及び二硫化タングステン(WS2)のうちの少なくとも1つを機械加工プロセスに導入することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 不安定化させることが、凝集摩耗粒子の内部にナノ粒子を埋め込むことを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 不安定化させることが、2つの表面の間に収容される潤滑剤及び機械加工流体のうちの少なくとも一方に、特定のナノ粒子を重量百分率で添加することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 更に、荷重下で粒子の解砕を引き起こすように、2つの表面を形成して十分な数のせん断線を凝集摩耗粒子の内部に生じさせる材料と、ナノ粒子の組成を一致させることを含む、請求項11ないし16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 凝集摩耗粒子のせん断線を生じさせる組成であって、
流体潤滑剤と、
少なくとも0.1重量パーセントの、二硫化モリブデン(MoS2)粒子、二硫化タングステン(WS2)粒子、及び六方晶窒化ホウ素(hBN)粒子のうちの1つ以上の粒子と
を含み、潤滑剤内の平均粒子サイズが600nm未満である、組成。 - 組成粒子のサイズが超音波粉砕によって縮小されている、請求項18に記載の組成。
- 粒子の重量百分率組成が約0.1パーセント〜約10パーセントの六方晶窒化ホウ素である、請求項18又は19に記載の組成。
- 粒子の重量百分率組成が約1パーセントの六方晶窒化ホウ素である、請求項20に記載の組成。
- 粒子の重量百分率組成が約0.1パーセント〜約10パーセントの二硫化モリブデンである、請求項18又は19に記載の組成。
- 粒子の重量百分率組成が約4パーセントの二硫化モリブデンである、請求項22に記載の組成。
