Claims (22)
- 回路基板と、
発光ダイオードチップ、及び前記発光ダイオードチップにコーティングされた波長変換層を有し、前記回路基板に実装された発光素子と、
前記発光素子から放出された光を分散させるレンズと、を含む発光モジュールであって、
前記レンズは、光が入射される入射面を定義する凹部と、前記レンズに入射された光が出射される上部面と、を含み、
前記凹部の入射面及び前記上部面の少なくとも一つは、前記レンズの中心軸から15°以上の位置に高さ方向に順につながる複数のセクションを含む、発光モジュール。 - 前記複数のセクションにおいて互いに隣合うセクションは互いに異なる曲率を有する、請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記複数のセクションは順につながる第1、第2、及び第3セクションを含み、前記第1、第2、及び第3セクションにおける前記中心軸方向の高さは、1μm以上であり、前記発光素子の幅未満である、請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記複数のセクションにおける前記中心軸方向の高さは、1μm以上であり、前記発光素子の幅未満である、請求項3に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記レンズの凹部及び上部面は前記中心軸に対して回転体形状を有する、請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記発光ダイオードチップは、前記回路基板にフリップボンディングされたフリップチップ型発光ダイオードチップであり、前記発光素子は前記レンズの凹部内に配置される、請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記レンズの凹部の入口の幅は、前記発光素子の幅より大きく、前記発光素子の幅の3倍未満である、請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 単一曲率を有する仮想基準面が前記第1、第2、及び第3セクションをそれぞれ横切る、請求項3に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記第1、第2、及び第3セクション上の任意の地点と前記単一曲率を有する仮想基準面との間の距離は10μm以内である、請求項8に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記上部面は、上側に向かって幅が細くなる凸部と、上側に向かって幅が広くなる凹部と、を有し、前記凹部が前記凸部より中心軸に近く位置する、請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記上部面の凹部は複数のセクションを含み、前記凹部のセクションが前記凸部のセクションより低い高さを有する、請求項10に記載の発光モジュール。
- 発光素子から放出された光を分散させるレンズであって、
光が入射される入射面を定義する凹部と、
前記レンズに入射された光が出射される上部面と、を含み、
前記凹部の入射面及び前記上部面の少なくとも一つは、前記レンズの中心軸から15°以上の位置に高さ方向に順につながる複数のセクションを含む、レンズ。 - 前記複数のセクションにおいて互いに隣合うセクションは互いに異なる曲率を有する、請求項12に記載のレンズ。
- 前記複数のセクションは順につながる第1、第2、及び第3セクションを含み、前記第1、第2、及び第3セクションにおける前記中心軸方向の高さは、1μm以上であり、前記発光素子の幅未満である、請求項12に記載のレンズ。
- 前記複数のセクションにおける前記中心軸方向の高さは、1μm以上であり、前記発光素子の幅未満である、請求項14に記載のレンズ。
- 前記レンズの凹部及び上部面は前記中心軸に対して回転体形状を有する、請求項12に記載のレンズ。
- 前記レンズの入射面は、上端面と、前記上端面から凹部の入口までつながる側面と、を含み、
前記凹部は、その入口から前記上端面まで上側に向かって幅が細くなる形状を有し、前記上端面は平坦面である、請求項12に記載のレンズ。 - 前記凹部を取り囲む平坦面、及び前記平坦面を取り囲む傾斜面を有する下部面をさらに含む、請求項12に記載のレンズ。
- 前記上部面は、上側に向かって幅が細くなる凸部と、上側に向かって幅が広くなる凹部と、を有し、前記凹部が前記凸部より中心軸に近く位置する、請求項12に記載のレンズ。
- 前記上部面の凹部は複数のセクションを含み、前記凹部のセクションが前記凸部のセクションより低い高さを有する、請求項19に記載のレンズ。
- 単一曲率を有する仮想基準面が前記第1、第2、及び第3セクションをそれぞれ横切る、請求項14に記載のレンズ。
- 前記第1、第2、及び第3セクション上の任意の地点と前記単一曲率を有する仮想基準面との間の距離は10μm以内である、請求項21に記載のレンズ。
