Description

請求項6の発明は、請求項1〜5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の排ガス浄化方法であって、脱硝触媒が、ZSM−5(MFI)型ゼオライトにコバルトを担持させた脱硝触媒であることを特徴としている。
ここで、例えば船舶用ディーゼルエンジンの燃焼排ガス中への水蒸気の添加量は、水分調整排ガス中の水蒸気濃度が、原排ガス既存含有水蒸気および添加水蒸気の合計で22.0容量%以下するのが好ましいが、水分調整排ガス中の水蒸気濃度が、原排ガス既存含有水蒸気および添加水蒸気の合計で22.0容量%を超えると、処理すべき燃焼排ガスが冷やされて、燃焼排ガスの温度が低下するため、燃焼排ガス中の水蒸気が露点以下になることが考えられ、そして、燃焼排ガスの温度が低下すると、熱回収にも影響を及ぼすことになり、また燃焼排ガスの温度が低下すると、脱硝触媒の活性が失われる温度範囲になる可能性もあるので、好ましくない。
