Description
Claims (19)
- バルブで使用するためのシールであって、
リング状のカートリッジを備え、前記カートリッジが、第1の部分および前記第1の部分の反対側にある第2の部分、ならびに前記第1および第2の部分の間に捕捉される圧縮性シール部を有し、前記第1および第2の部分が、前記圧縮性シール部のシール面に隣接したそれぞれの第1および第2の湾曲面を有し、前記湾曲面が、前記流量制御部材が閉位置に移動する場合、前記湾曲面に接触する前に、流量制御部材が前記シール部を圧縮することを可能にする、バルブで使用するためのシール。 - 前記湾曲面が、前記流量制御部材が最初に前記シール面に接触する際、前記流量制御部材と前記第1の部分との間の第1の隙間と、前記流量制御部材と前記第2の部分との間の第2の隙間とを提供し、前記第1の隙間が、前記第2の隙間よりも小さい、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記第1の湾曲面の曲率半径が、前記第2の湾曲面の曲率半径よりも大きい、請求項1または2に記載のシール。
- 前記シール面が湾曲している、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール面が、第1の曲率半径と第2の曲率半径とを有し、前記第1の曲率半径が、前記第1の湾曲面の前記曲率半径に実質的に等しく、前記第2の曲率半径が、前記第2の湾曲面の前記曲率半径に実質的に等しい、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記カートリッジが、実質的に可撓性のリング状のキャリアに連結される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記第1の部分が、前記第2の部分に連結されて、前記シール部を受ける空洞を画定する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- バルブで使用するためのシールであって、
リング状のカートリッジを備え、前記カートリッジが、第1の部分および第2の部分を有し、前記第1および第2の部分が、シール部を有し、前記第1および第2の部分が、前記シール部のシール面に隣接するそれぞれの第1および第2の湾曲面を有し、前記湾曲面の曲率半径が、流量制御部材と前記カートリッジとの間の初期接点が、前記流量制御部材が閉位置に移動する場合、前記シール面上となることを可能にする、
バルブで使用するためのシール。 - 前記湾曲面の前記曲率半径が、前記流量制御部材が最初に前記シール面に接触する際、前記流量制御部材と前記第1の部分との間の第1の隙間と、前記流量制御部材と前記第2の部分との間の第2の隙間とを提供し、前記第1の隙間が、前記第2の隙間よりも小さい、請求項8に記載のシール。
- 前記第1の湾曲面の前記曲率半径が、前記第2の湾曲面の前記曲率半径よりも大きい、請求項8〜9のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール面が湾曲している、請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール面が、第1の曲率半径と第2の曲率半径とを有し、前記第1の曲率半径が、前記第1の湾曲面の前記曲率半径に実質的に等しく、前記第2の曲率半径が、前記第2の湾曲面の前記曲率半径に実質的に等しい、請求項8〜11のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール部が圧縮性である、請求項8〜12のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール面と、前記湾曲面のうちの少なくとも1つとが、前記流量制御部材が閉位置にある場合、前記流量制御部材を封止状態で係合する、請求項8〜13のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール面、前記第1の湾曲面および前記第2の湾曲面が、前記流量制御部材が閉位置にあり、かつ前記シール部が摩耗状態にある場合、前記流量制御部材を封止状態で係合する、請求項8〜14のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記カートリッジが、実質的に可撓性のリング状のキャリアに連結される、請求項8〜15のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- 前記第1の部分が、前記第2の部分に連結されて、前記シール部を受ける空洞を画定する、請求項8〜16のいずれか1項に記載のシール。
- バルブで使用するためのシールであって、
シール手段の保持手段を備え、前記保持手段が、流量制御部材が前記保持手段に接触する前に前記シール手段に接触することを可能にする第1および第2の手段を有する、バルブで使用するためのシール。 - 前記保持手段が、前記保持手段をバルブに柔軟に連結する手段を含む、請求項19に記載のシール。
