Description
最初に図19を参照すると、電源208に接続された導体202を含むトラック200が示されている。導体202は、略面内において3つのループを形成するように配置されるが、本発明から逸脱することなく、設けるループの数はこれより多くても少なくてもよいことが、当業者ならわかるであろう。ループは、2つの異なる点204、206で重なり合う導体202によって形成され、3つのループのそれぞれが略同じ形状および大きさであり、ループどうしが略隣接するようになっている。隣接する側どうしの距離が狭められ、ゼロであってもよく、またはループの幅に対して相対的に小さい他の値であってもよい。
図3に、三相双極トラックを示す。このトラック100は、3つの延長ループ102A、102B、102Cからなり、6本の導体を含み、各ループはその遠端付近で他の2つのループと交差し、基端においても交差している。ループ102A、102B、102Cは、それぞれ独立したインバータ104A、104B、104Cによって駆動され、周波数と大きさは等しいが電気的に位相が互いに120度だけ異なる電流を伝達する。整流器を使用して共通直流バスを設けてもよい。3つのインバータは、位相がずれている以外は等しく、図4Aに示すように3相すべてがそれぞれLCL回路網と同調され、LCL回路網は当該位相の負荷とは独立したトラック定電流を供給する。これは、ピックアップの位置がトラックの幅の両端間で変化するにつれ総負荷のうちの各位相にかかる負荷部分が変化するため、望ましい。各位相における電流は、典型的には等しく、電源および動作周波数によって少なくとも公称的には一定に保たれる。状況によっては、たとえば部品公差を考慮して多少調整を加えるために、位相を個別に制御してもよい。
次に図13〜図17を参照すると、開回路電圧(Voc)、短絡回路電流(Isc)および非補償電力(Su)のグラフが示されており、トラック100、120、140、160、180のそれぞれのトラックの幅方向の変動を示している。比較のため、トラック上方20mmの高さで直交ピックアップ構造(図21、22参照)を使用した。ピックアップ構造について以下に詳述する。
図7に示すように、ループ142、144、146はそれぞれ別々のインバータ150、152、154に接続することができる。
1つの成分のみを利用する標準的ピックアップとは異なり、前述のようにIPTトラックが発生する空間直交する磁束の両方の成分(便宜上、本明細書では磁束の水平成分および垂直成分と呼ぶ)を利用するように適合されたピックアップを用いれば有利である。
Claims (16)
- 電源と、前記電源に電気的に接続され、互いに実質的に隣接して配置された複数のループを含む導体手段とを含むIPTトラック構成であって、前記ループの隣接部分の極性が同じであり、前記電源は1つ以上のインバータを含む、IPTトラック構成。
- 前記電源は、前記トラック構成の負荷を分散させるように配置された複数のインバータを含む、請求項1に記載のIPTトラック構成。
- 前記インバータは互いに電気的に並列に接続された、請求項2に記載のIPTトラック構成。
- 前記導体手段は単一の導体を含み、前記ループの形成において前記導体が複数の点で重なり合う、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のIPTトラック構成。
- 隣接するループ間の距離は前記ループの幅より実質的に小さい、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のIPTトラック構成。
- 前記複数のループは少なくとも2つのループを含む、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のIPTトラック構成。
- 前記複数のループは少なくとも3つのループを含む、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のIPTトラック構成。
- 電源と、前記電源に電気的に接続され、互いに実質的に隣接して配置された複数のループを含む導体手段とを有するIPTトラック構成と、IPTピックアップとを含むIPTシステムであって、前記ループの隣接部分の極性が同じである、IPTシステム。
