- 繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体を形成する方法であって、
供給繊維材を形成するために液体の中に繊維を分散する過程と、
前記供給繊維材を移動形成スクリーンにさらして繊維状のウェブを形成する過程と、
当該繊維状のウェブに結合剤を塗布する過程と、
前記繊維状のウェブを乾燥させて繊維状不織布のマットを形成する過程であって、前記完成試料にはフッ素含有化合物が供給される過程と、
前記繊維状不織布のマットを、繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体に組み込む過程と、を含む方法。 - 請求項10に記載の方法であって、前記液体用のフィルターの中の前記濾過媒体は、前記フッ素含有化合物を含んでいない繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体と比べて、埃保持能力の向上を示す、方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法であって、前記液体用のフィルターの中の前記濾過媒体は、前記フッ素含有化合物を含んでいない繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体と比べて、ベータ値の向上を示す、方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法であって、前記フッ素含有化合物にはフッ素重合体が含まれる、方法。
- 請求項13に記載の方法であって、前記フッ素重合体には、フルオロアクリレート重合体、フルオロアルキルアクリレート重合体、フルオロアルキルメタクリレート重合体、又はこれらの組み合わせが含まれる、方法。
- 請求項10に記載の方法であって、前記繊維には、ガラス繊維、ポリオレフィン繊維、及びこれらの組み合わせが含まれる、方法。
- 液体用濾過媒体であって、ガラス繊維マットに塗布されたフッ素含有化合物の塗膜を有する湿式不織布ガラス繊維マットを備える、液体用濾過媒体。
- 請求項16に記載の液体用濾過媒体であって、前記ガラス繊維マットに塗布された前記フッ素含有化合物は、当該フッ素含有化合物の単分子層である、液体用濾過媒体。
- 繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体を形成する方法であって、
フッ素含有化合物を含むガスをエネルギー源にさらしてプラズマを形成する過程と、
前記不織布液体用濾過媒体を構成する繊維を前記プラズマにさらして前記繊維上にフッ素含有化合物の塗膜を形成する過程と、を含む方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、前記液体用フィルターの中の前記濾過媒体は、前記フッ素含有化合物を含んでいない繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体と比べて、埃保持能力の向上を示す、方法。
- 請求項18に記載の方法であって、前記液体用フィルターの中の前記濾過媒体は、前記フッ素含有化合物を含んでいない繊維状不織布の液体用濾過媒体と比べて、ベータ値の向上を示す、方法。
- 請求項18に記載の方法であって、前記繊維には、ガラス繊維、ポリオレフィン繊維、及びこれらの組み合わせが含まれる、方法。
