Abstract
Description
薬剤送達装置で使用するための多くの薬は、ストッパが位置付けられたガラス管として通常形成されたいわゆるカートリッジに収容されている。カートリッジの近位端には隔壁または同様の弾性膜が配置されており、それを通して薬剤送達部材の遠位端を押すことができる。
この発明の目的は、薬剤送達部材を取付けることができる薬剤カートリッジを収容でき、薬剤送達部材ガードを容易に起動できる薬剤送達装置を提供することである。
この発明のさらなる局面によれば、容器アセンブリはカートリッジを含み、カートリッジは、送達部材がカートリッジに取付けられることを可能にするために、ガード部材の近位部に対して突出している近位端を有する。
この発明には多くの利点がある。ガード部材とアクチュエータ部材との間に配置されたロック部材の使用により、かなり少ない部品でいくつかの機能を得ることができる。また、薬剤送達部材が位置付けられる装置の近位端のガード部材とアクチュエータ部材との間に機能的連結が作り出されており、装置が送達部位に押付けられるまでアクチュエータ部材を動作させることはできず、それにより装置は作動できないようになっている。

本願では、「遠位部/端」という用語を使用する場合、これは、薬剤送達部位から最も遠くに位置する、送達装置の部分/端、またはその部材の部分/端を指す。これに応じて、「近位部/端」という用語を使用する場合、これは、薬剤送達部位の最も近くに位置する、送達装置の部分/端、またはその部材の部分/端を指す。
Claims (9)
- 対向する遠位端および近位端を有し、薬剤容器アセンブリを格納するよう適合された、概して細長いハウジング(10;100、102)と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、薬剤の用量を放出するために前記薬剤容器アセンブリに作用するよう構成された駆動アセンブリと、
前記駆動アセンブリに動作可能に接続され、前記駆動アセンブリを起動させるための作動アセンブリとを含み、前記駆動アセンブリは、ハウジングに対して可動であり、ハウジングの近位端から突出する近位部を有するガード部材(12;104)と、前記ハウジングに配置され、ハウジングを通して動作可能であるアクチュエータ部材(44;180)とを含み、
作動アセンブリは、ガード部材(12;104)とアクチュエータ部材(44;180)との間に配置されたロック部材(28;132)をさらに含み、前記ロック部材は、ガード部材が送達部位に押付けられると、ガード部材によって、ロック部材がアクチュエータ部材を阻止している第1のロック位置と、ロック部材がアクチュエータ部材を動作可能にする解除位置との間で動かされるよう構成されており、前記ロック部材はさらに、前記ガード部材が送達部位から取外された後、アクチュエータ部材によって、解除位置と、ロック部材がガード部材を阻止している第2のロック位置との間で動かされるよう構成されていることを特徴とする、薬剤送達装置。 - ロック部材は、ガード部材によって、およびアクチュエータ部材によって、ハウジングに対して回転されるよう構成された回転体部材である、請求項1に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- 作動アセンブリは、回転体部材とガード部材との間に配置され、前記ガード部材を近位端に向けて圧迫するための第1の弾性力部材をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- 容器アセンブリは、送達部材を有するシリンジを含む、請求項3に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- 容器アセンブリはカートリッジを含み、カートリッジは、送達部材がカートリッジに取付けられることを可能にするために、ガード部材の近位部に対して突出している近位端を有する、請求項3に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- ガード部材は、前記ガード部材がハウジングに対して手動で回されると、前記ガード部材が第1の弾性力部材によって装置の近位端に向けて押し進められ、それにより送達部材を視界からカバーするように、誘導手段によってハウジングに動作可能に接続されている、請求項5に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- ガード部材は、前記ガード部材が送達部位に押付けられると、ガード部材が送達部材を視界からカバーしている伸張された位置と、弾性力部材が圧縮されて送達部材が視界に露出されるようにガード部材がハウジング内に配置される引っ込んだ位置との間で、ハウジングに対して動かされるよう配置されている、請求項5または6に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- 圧縮された弾性力部材は、前記ガード部材が送達部位から取外されると、ガード部材を引っ込んだ位置から伸張された位置へと押し進めるよう適合されている、請求項7に記載の薬剤送達装置。
- 前記薬剤送達装置は自動注射器である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の薬剤送達装置。
