Abstract
Description
本発明の組成物の一成分は、潤滑粘度の油であり、潤滑組成物として主要な量で存在していてもよく、または濃縮物として濃縮物を生成する量で存在していてもよい。適切な油としては、天然および合成の潤滑油ならびにこれらの混合物が挙げられる。完全に配合した潤滑剤において、潤滑粘度の油は、一般的に、主要な量(すなわち、50重量%を超える量)存在する。典型的には、潤滑粘度の油は、組成物全体の75〜95重量%、より頻繁には80重量%を超える量で存在する。基油成分は、一般的に、組成物全体の100重量部(pbw)を構成し、他の成分のpbw範囲は、この基油100pbwを念頭に置いて与えられる。他の実施形態では、基油を含めた種々の成分のpbw範囲は、全ての成分のpbwの合計が100となるように与えられる。以下に記載する種々の成分について提示されるpbw範囲は、いずれかの様式が取られ得る。
酸化防止成分は、(i)アルキル化ジフェニルアミンと、(ii)置換ヒドロカルビルモノスルフィドとを含む。
分散剤成分は、(i)ポリエーテルアミン;(ii)ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤;(iii)非ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤;(iv)ジアルキルアミン、アルデヒドおよびヒドロカルビル置換フェノールのマンニッヒ反応生成物;またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む。ある実施形態では、分散剤成分は、組成物全体の0.05〜0.5pbw存在する。
任意選択で、本発明の潤滑組成物は、1種以上のさらなる添加剤を含み、さらなる添加剤は、泡抑制剤、解乳化剤、流動点降下剤、またはこれらの混合物を含む群から選択されてもよい。任意選択の添加剤は、潤滑油組成物の0.0005〜1.3pbw、0.00075〜0.5pbw、0.001〜0.4pbw、または0.0015〜0.3pbwの範囲で存在する。任意選択の添加剤を単独で使用してもよく、またはこれらの混合物で使用してもよい。
本発明は、さらに、潤滑油組成物を調製するプロセスを提供する。潤滑油組成物は、(a)アルキル化ジフェニルアミン、および置換ヒドロカルビルモノスルフィドの組み合わせを含む酸化防止成分と、ポリエーテルアミン、ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤、非ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤、またはジアルキルアミン、アルデヒドおよびヒドロカルビル置換フェノールのマンニッヒ反応生成物のうち、少なくとも1つを含む分散剤成分とを混合し、および/または溶解する工程によって調製される。任意選択で、1種以上のさらなる添加剤を油に混合してもよい。添加剤が実質的または完全に溶解するまで、ある実施形態では、40℃〜110℃、または50℃〜95℃、または55℃〜85℃の高温で、30秒〜24時間、2分〜8時間、または5分〜4時間、700mmHg〜2000mmHg、750mmHg〜900mmHg、または755mmHg〜800mmHgの圧力で材料を混合する。
本発明を、特に有利な実施形態を記載する以下の実施例によってさらに説明する。これらの実施例は本発明を説明するために与えられるが、これらの実施例は、本発明を限定することを意図していない。
本発明の組成物の効果をよりよく示すために、3種類の比較例を調製する。次いで、これらの比較例は、以下に示すそれぞれの実施例に含まれる。以下のあらゆる実施例とともに用いる場合、他の添加剤がまた種々の配合物に存在する。実施例の配合物同士の違いを示しているが、試験結果にとって重要ではないと考えられ、および/または具体的な詳細が、サンプル間の結果に影響を与えるとは考えられないため、完全な配合の詳細は提示していない。
配合物がポリエーテルアミン分散剤を含むような実施例群を調製する。以下の表には、上述の比較例の配合を含め、これらの配合をまとめている。表および注釈に記載されている違いを除き、列挙した実施例の配合物は、実質的に同等である。表中の値はpbwである。

- 潤滑油組成物であって、
(a)グループII基油、グループIII基油またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、潤滑粘度の油と、
(b)
(i)アルキル化ジフェニルアミン、および
(ii)置換ヒドロカルビルモノスルフィド
を含む酸化防止成分と、
(c)
(i)ポリエーテルアミン、
(ii)ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤、
(iii)非ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤、
(iv)ジアルキルアミン、アルデヒド、およびヒドロカルビル置換フェノールのマンニッヒ反応生成物

- 前記さび止め剤が、リン酸アミン、脂肪カルボン酸もしくはそのエステル、窒素含有カルボン酸のエステル、スルホン酸アンモニウム、イミダゾリン、またはこれらの組み合わせを含み、
前記金属不活性化剤が、トリアゾール、トリルトリアゾール、チアジアゾール、またはこれらの組み合わせを含み、
前記解乳化剤がポリエーテルを含み、
前記消泡剤がアクリレートコポリマーを含む、請求項2に記載の組成物。 - 前記置換ヒドロカルビルモノスルフィドは、n−ドデシル2−ヒドロキシエチルスルフィド、1−(tert−ドデシルチオ)−2−プロパノール、またはこれらの混合物である、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 前記分散剤成分が、10〜18個の炭素原子を含むアルコールの混合物と、アルコキシレートとアミンとの反応から誘導されるポリエーテルアミンを含み;
前記酸化防止成分が、前記組成物全体に0.865重量部未満の量で存在し;
前記組成物は、N−アルキルサルコシンを含まず;
前記組成物が、0.1重量部未満の脂肪カルボン酸を含有し;
前記分散剤成分が、前記組成物全体に0.07〜0.4重量部の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記分散剤成分は、数平均分子量が500〜3000のポリイソブチレンとポリエチレンポリアミンとから誘導されるホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤を含み、
前記分散剤成分は、前記組成物全体に0.07から0.4重量部未満の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記分散剤成分が、数平均分子量が500〜3000のポリイソブチレンとポリエチレンポリアミンとから誘導される非ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤を含み、
前記組成物が0.1重量部未満の脂肪カルボン酸を含有し、
前記分散剤成分は、前記組成物全体に0.06〜0.35重量部の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記分散剤成分が、ジアルキルアミン、ホルムアルデヒド、およびポリイソブチレン置換フェノールの反応から誘導されるマンニッヒ反応生成物を含み、前記ポリイソブチレンは、数平均分子量が500〜3000であり;
前記分散剤成分は、組成物全体に0.07〜0.44重量部の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記金属不活性化剤は、ヒドロカルビル置換ベンゾトリアゾール、5−メチルベンゾトリアゾール、およびこれらの混合物を含む群から選択される、請求項1に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 前記添加成分(b)〜(d)は、前記組成物全体の約0〜約13重量部の範囲である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- (I)
(a)グループII基油、グループIII基油またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、潤滑粘度の油と、
(b)
(i)アルキル化ジフェニルアミン、および
(ii)置換ヒドロカルビルモノスルフィド
を含む酸化防止成分と、
(c)
(i)ポリエーテルアミン、
(ii)ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤、
(iii)非ホウ素化スクシンイミド分散剤、
(iv)ジアルキルアミン、アルデヒド、ヒドロカルビル置換フェノールのマンニッヒ反応生成物
のうち、少なくとも1つを含む分散剤成分と、
(d)任意選択で、他の添加剤と
を一緒に混合する工程を含む、潤滑油組成物を調製するプロセス。 - 前記酸化防止剤パッケージが、前記組成物全体の0.05〜13重量部の範囲にあり;前記分散剤成分が、前記組成物全体の0.05〜10重量部の範囲であり;任意選択の添加剤は、存在する場合、前記組成物全体の0.001〜10重量部の量で存在し;残りの部分が潤滑粘度の油で構成される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。
