Abstract
Description
以下、第1の実施形態について、図1ないし図7を参照して説明する。
広配光レンズ16の射出面20は、射出面20の上の任意な点から広配光レンズ16の内側に向かう法線を引いた時に、当該法線が発光面14を含む平面と交差するような形状を有している。
図8は、第2の実施形態を開示している。
図9は、第3の実施形態を開示している。
図10は、第4の実施形態を開示している。
図11は、第5の実施形態を開示している。
Claims (28)
- 半導体発光素子を用いて面状に発光するように構成された発光面を有する光源と、
前記発光面の重心を通って当該発光面と直交する方向に沿う軸線に対し回転対称となる形状を有し、前記光源の光を透過する光学素子と、を具備し、
前記光学素子は、
前記軸線に沿って設けられた貫通孔と、
前記発光面に面するとともに前記貫通孔が開口された入射面と、
前記入射面の外周縁から前記軸線を取り囲むように前記光源から遠ざかる方向に延出された射出面と、
前記貫通孔を規定するように前記射出面の先端縁と前記貫通孔に臨む前記入射面の内周縁との間を結ぶとともに、前記入射面から前記光学素子に入射された前記光源の光を前記射出面に向けて全反射させるように構成された全反射面と、
を含む照明装置。 - 請求項1に記載の照明装置において、前記光学素子の前記貫通孔を覆うように前記全反射面と向かい合う光拡散部をさらに備え、前記光拡散部は、前記全反射面に面した背面と、当該背面の反対側に位置された表面と、を有し、前記背面および前記表面の少なくともいずれか一方が光を拡散させるように構成された照明装置。
- 請求項2に記載の照明装置において、前記光拡散部は、前記表面の外周縁と前記背面の外周縁との間を結ぶ端面を有し、当該端面が前記全反射面の外周部と向かい合うとともに、前記端面と前記全反射面の外周部との間に隙間が形成された照明装置。
- 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置において、前記全反射面は、前記軸線に最も接近された点を有する曲面であり、前記点を通って前記軸線に向かう法線が前記軸線と直交する照明装置。
- 請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置において、前記光学素子の前記射出面は、前記射出面上の任意な点を通って前記軸線に向かう法線が前記発光面を含む面と交わるような形状を有する照明装置。
- 請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置において、前記光学素子の前記入射面に前記発光面を取り囲む凹部が設けられた照明装置。
- 請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置において、前記光源および前記光学素子が取り付けられた本体と、少なくとも前記光学素子を覆うように前記本体に設けられたグローブと、をさらに備えた照明装置。
- 請求項13に記載の照明装置において、前記グローブは、前記軸線の軸方向に開口された複数の通気孔を有する照明装置。
- 請求項14に記載の照明装置において、前記グローブの内側に空気が流通する流路が形成され、前記本体および前記光学素子が前記流路に露出された照明装置。
- 請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置において、前記光源が熱的に接続された支持部を有する放熱部をさらに備えており、前記光学素子は、前記放熱部の前記支持部を取り囲むとともに前記射出面に連なる延出部を有する照明装置。
- 発光面の重心を通って当該発光面と直交する方向に沿う軸線に対し回転対称となる形状を有し、前記発光面から放射された光が透過する広配光レンズであって、
前記軸線に沿って設けられた貫通孔と、
前記発光面に面するとともに前記貫通孔が開口された入射面と、
前記入射面の外周縁から前記軸線を取り囲むように前記発光面から遠ざかる方向に延出された射出面と、
前記貫通孔を規定するように前記射出面の先端縁と前記貫通孔に臨む前記入射面の内周縁との間を結ぶとともに、前記発光面から前記入射面に入射された光を前記射出面に向けて全反射させるように構成された全反射面と、
を具備した広配光レンズ。 - 請求項17に記載の広配光レンズにおいて、前記貫通孔を覆うように前記全反射面と向かい合う光拡散部をさらに備え、前記光拡散部は、前記全反射面に面した背面と、当該背面の反対側に位置された表面と、を有し、前記背面および前記表面の少なくともいずれか一方が光を拡散させるように構成された広配光レンズ。
- 請求項18に記載の広配光レンズにおいて、前記光拡散部は、前記表面の外周縁と前記背面の外周縁との間を結ぶ端面を有し、当該端面が前記全反射面の外周部と向かい合うとともに、前記端面と前記全反射面の外周部との間に隙間が形成された広配光レンズ。
- 請求項17ないし請求項19のいずれか一項に記載の広配光レンズにおいて、前記全反射面は、前記軸線に最も接近された点を有する曲面であり、前記点を通って前記軸線に向かう法線が前記軸線と直交する広配光レンズ。
- 請求項17ないし請求項22のいずれか一項に記載の広配光レンズにおいて、前記射出面は、前記射出面上の任意な点を通って前記軸線に向かう法線が前記発光面を含む面と交わるような形状を有する広配光レンズ。
- 請求項17ないし請求項24のいずれか一項に記載の広配光レンズにおいて、前記入射面に前記発光面を取り囲む凹部が設けられた広配光レンズ。
