Abstract
【解決手段】偏光板3は液晶表示パネル2の第1主面2aに設けられている。偏光板4は液晶表示パネル2の第2主面2bに設けられている。偏光板3は、偏光子30と、偏光子30における、液晶表示パネル2側の主面30aに積層された位相差フィルム31とを有している。偏光板4は、偏光子40と、偏光子40における、液晶表示パネル2側とは反対側の主面40aに積層された透明フィルム41とを有している。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る液晶表示装置1の構成を示す断面図である。図2は、本実施の形態に係る液晶表示装置1の構成を示す分解斜視図である。
図3は、本発明の実施の形態2に係る液晶表示装置10の構成を示す断面図である。図4は、本実施の形態に係る液晶表示装置10の構成を示す分解斜視図である。以下に、上述の実施の形態1に係る液晶表示装置1との相違点を中心に、本実施の形態に係る液晶表示装置10について説明する。
Claims (7)
- 第1主面と、当該第1主面とは反対側の第2主面とを有する液晶表示パネルと、
前記第1主面に設けられた第1偏光板と、
前記第2主面に設けられた第2偏光板と
を備え、
前記第1偏光板は、
第1偏光子と、
前記第1偏光子における、前記液晶表示パネル側の主面に積層された第1位相差フィルムと
を有し、
前記第2偏光板は、
第2偏光子と、
前記第2偏光子における、前記液晶表示パネル側とは反対側の主面に積層された透明フィルムと
を有する、液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置であって、
前記透明フィルムは、前記液晶表示パネルを通過する光の偏光状態を変化させない特性を有する、液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1及び請求項2のいずれか一つに記載の液晶表示装置であって、
前記透明フィルムの厚みは、前記第1位相差フィルムの厚みと同じである、液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一つに記載の液晶表示装置であって、
前記透明フィルムは、前記第1位相差フィルムと同じ材料で形成されている、液晶表示装置。 - 請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置であって、
前記透明フィルムは、前記第1位相差フィルムと同じ種類の第2位相差フィルムである、液晶表示装置。 - 請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置であって、
前記第2位相差フィルムの遅相軸は、前記第1位相差フィルムの遅相軸と平行である、液晶表示装置。 - 請求項5及び請求項6のいずれか一つに記載の液晶表示装置であって、
前記第1及び第2偏光板のうち前記第2偏光板側に設けられた、偏光反射フィルムを有するバックライトをさらに備え、
前記第2偏光子の吸収軸と前記偏光反射フィルムの反射軸とは、互いに平行となっており、
前記第2偏光子の吸収軸と前記第2位相差フィルムの遅相軸とは、互いに平行または垂直となっている、液晶表示装置。
