Abstract
【解決手段】脊椎の縦軸の片側の脊椎固定構造物を、縦軸の反対側の脊椎固定構造物に相互連結する経皮的脊椎クロスリンクシステムは、各コネクタによって各脊椎固定構造物の各脊椎固定ロッドに各端で接続されたクロスバーを備えることができる。コネクタは、脊椎固定ロッドの1つを収容するように構成されたロッド受け部と、脊椎固定ロッドに対し略垂直な向きにクロスバーを収容するように構成されたクロスバー受け部とを備えることができる。クロスバーをコネクタに導入するために体組織に侵襲が最小である経路を形成するために、2つの離間したブレードによって形成したカニューレをコネクタに結合することができる。該システムとともに使用する他の器具についても開示する。

Claims (16)
- クロスバーを脊椎固定構造物に固定するコネクタであって、
脊椎固定構造物の脊椎固定ロッドを内部に収容するように構成されたロッド受け部と、
前記脊椎固定ロッドが前記ロッド受け部内に収容されると、前記脊椎固定ロッドに対し略垂直な向きにクロスバーを内部に収容するように構成されたレセプタクルを有するクロスバー受け部と、
を備えるコネクタ。 - 前記クロスバー受け部が、前記レセプタクルを間に形成する第1アームと第2アームとを備える、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1アームと前記第2アームとが、前記レセプタクルの少なくとも一部に沿って互いに向かって内側を向くねじを備え、前記レセプタクルが、ねじ付きブロッカーを前記ねじと係合させて内部に収容するように構成された、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記コネクタの前記ロッド受け部が、間にスロットを形成する第1アームと第2アームとを備え、前記スロットが前記脊椎固定ロッドを通すように構成された、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1アームと前記第2アームとが、前記脊椎固定ロッドが前記スロットに挿入されると、互いに対して反るように構成された、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- クロスバーを脊椎固定構造物に固定するコネクタ組立品であって、
請求項1に記載のコネクタと、
基端部と先端部とを有するカニューレであって、前記脊椎固定ロッドが前記ロッド受け部内に収容され、前記脊椎固定構造物が患者の身体の脊椎に挿入されると、前記カニューレの前記基端部が前記身体の皮膚の切開部を貫通するように配置されるように、前記先端部が前記コネクタに結合されたカニューレと、
を備えるコネクタ組立品。 - 前記カニューレが複数のブレードによって形成され、前記ブレードがそれぞれ前記コネクタの前記クロスバー受け部に分離可能に結合された先端部を有する、請求項6に記載のコネクタ組立品。
- 前記ブレードはそれぞれ、前記コネクタの前記クロスバー受け部と一体形成され、前記ブレードの前記先端部がそれぞれ、脆弱部で前記クロスバー受け部に分離可能に結合された、請求項7に記載のコネクタ組立品。
- 前記カニューレが、少なくとも前記カニューレの先端部に近接した部分に沿って、内面にねじを備え、前記ねじがねじ付きブロッカーと係合するように構成された、請求項6に記載のコネクタ組立品。
- クロスバーを脊椎固定構造物に固定するシステムであって、
請求項6に記載のコネクタ組立品と、
前記皮膚の前記切開部と、前記脊椎に挿入された前記脊椎固定構造物の前記脊椎固定ロッドとの間の経路であって、前記コネクタ組立品を通すように構成された経路を形成するように構成された拡張器と、
を備えるシステム。 - 基端部と先端部との間に延びるシャフトを有し、前記シャフトが前記カニューレ内に収容される間、前記先端部が前記コネクタの前記クロスバー受け部と係合するように構成されたコネクタインサータをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 複数の請求項6に記載のコネクタ組立品と、
前記脊椎固定ロッドが前記ロッド受け部内に収容され、前記脊椎固定構造物が前記身体の脊椎に挿入される間、前記コネクタ組立品の各カニューレの基端部に同時に接続するように構成されたリンク機構と、
をさらに備える請求項10に記載のシステム。 - 前記コネクタ組立品の前記カニューレ内に収容されるように構成された細長いエクステンダを備えたドリルであって、前記エクステンダが基端部と先端部とを有し、ドリルビットが前記エクステンダに対し略垂直に延びるように前記先端部が前記ドリルビットに接続されたドリルをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 基端部と先端部とを有し、前記先端部が前記クロスバーを選択的に固定および解放するよう動作できる接続構造を備えるクロスバーインサータをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記コネクタ組立品の前記カニューレを内部に収容するように構成された筒状部材を備えるパースエイダをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記コネクタ組立品の前記カニューレが複数のブレードによって形成され、前記ブレードがそれぞれ前記コネクタの前記クロスバー受け部と一体形成され、前記ブレードがそれぞれ脆弱部で前記コネクタの前記クロスバー受け部に分離可能に結合された先端部を有し、前記ブレードの1つを内部に収容するように構成された溝を有するブレードリムーバをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
