Abstract

別の実施形態において、定着器流体及び少なくとも1つの蛍光タグを含む静電写真材料が提供される。特定の実施形態において、静電写真材料は、上述の方法と共に用いるように調製される。例えば、静電写真材料は、上述の方法によって真正と識別されるように調製される。

Claims (4)
- 静電写真材料を認証する方法であって、
静電写真材料に少なくとも1つの蛍光タグを付け、
前記蛍光タグが付けられた静電写真材料からの蛍光発光を刺激するためのエネルギー源を生成し、
前記蛍光タグが付けられた静電写真材料からの前記蛍光発光を刺激し、
所定の波長において前記蛍光タグが付けられた静電写真材料からの前記蛍光発光を測定し、
試験静電写真材料からの前記測定された蛍光発光が、前記所定の波長における前記蛍光タグが付けられた静電写真材料からの所定の蛍光発光に合致するとき、試験静電写真材料を真正と識別する、
ことを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記所定の波長において前記蛍光タグが付けられた静電写真材料からの前記蛍光発光を測定する前に、該蛍光タグが付けられた静電写真材料からの該蛍光発光をフィルタにかけて、背景の蛍光又は干渉を除去することをさらに含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光タグは、フルオレセイン、ローダミン、ローザニリン、ウランユウロピウム、ウランで増感されたユウロピウム、及びそれらの混合物から成る群から選択される染料を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光タグは、ポリ(メチルフェニルシロキサン)、1,4−ビス(4−メチル−5−フェニルオキサゾール−2−イル)ベンゼン、1,4−ビス(5−フェニルオキサゾール−2−イル)ベンゼン、2,5−ジフェニルオキサゾール、1,4−ビス(2−メチルスチリル)ベンゼン、トランス−4,4’−ジフェニルスチルベン、9,10−ジフェニルアントラセン、及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される有機化合物を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
