Description

The present invention relates to a waste container.

A pen-type syringe that allows a diabetic patient to administer insulin by a simple operation has been developed and used by many patients (see FIGS. 2 and 3). As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the pen-type syringe has a syringe body and an injection needle that is detachably attached to the syringe body. The injection needle has a needle body that is a double-ended needle and a hub that holds the needle body. A female screw is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the hub 13, and the injection needle 14 is attached to the syringe main body by screwing the female screw with a male screw formed on the outer peripheral surface of the distal end portion of the syringe main body. Is done. At this time, the needle body of the injection needle is pierced through a rubber stopper provided in the syringe body. The needle is replaced with a new one each time insulin is administered with a pen-type syringe.

Regarding the replacement of the injection needle, it is generally recognized that there are safety problems such as injury and infection of medical staff, such as accidentally puncturing a finger with the injection needle when directly removing with a hand. In addition, pen-type syringes are often used by patients themselves, and in particular, diabetic patients often administer insulin several times a day using the pen-type syringes, and are frequently used. Many diabetics are elderly, and there are many cases in which the operation of removing the injection needle is difficult due to the handicap due to the complications of diabetes and impaired visual acuity.

For this reason, a waste container for a syringe needle that can safely and easily remove and collect a used syringe needle is desired, and several such waste containers have already been proposed.

The waste container for the injection needle described in Patent Document 1 has a plurality of grooves formed on the outer peripheral surface of the hub of the injection needle when the injection needle is removed from the syringe main body of the pen-type syringe. A plurality of protrusions to be engaged with each other to prevent rotation of the injection needle, and when the syringe body is rotated, the screw between the male screw at the tip of the syringe main body and the female screw at the hub is provided. The match is released.

However, in the state where the screwing between the syringe body and the hub is released, the needle body of the syringe needle is still in a state where the rubber plug provided in the syringe body is pierced. In the case of the waste container, after the screwing of the syringe body and the hub is released, the syringe body can be moved in the proximal direction with respect to the waste container in order to remove the injection needle from the syringe body. The needle cannot be removed from the main body.

Even if the injection needle is removed from the syringe body, the injection needle is inserted into the hole formed on the upper surface of the waste container and is fitted to the upper surface. Without it, it cannot be collected in the waste container.

And a connecting member 6 that connects the cover member 5 to the lid 4 so as to be displaceable. In this embodiment, the connecting member 6 has flexibility, that is, can be elastically deformed, and has a belt shape.

Although the shape of the cover body 4 is not specifically limited, In this embodiment, it is circular in planar view. A plurality of ribs 43 project from the inner peripheral surface of the lower end portion of the lid 4. Each rib 43 extends in the circumferential direction of the inner peripheral surface of the lid body 4. Further, the lengths of the ribs 43 are equal, and the ribs 43 are arranged at equiangular intervals along the circumferential direction of the inner peripheral surface of the lid 4.

On the other hand, ribs 31 are formed to protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion of the container body 3. The rib 31 extends over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the container body 3. That is, the rib 31 has an annular shape. In the present embodiment, when the lid body 4 is installed in the opening of the container body 3, the rib 31 and each rib 41 of the lid body 4 are engaged, and the lid body 4 is detached from the container body 3. It is configured to be difficult.

In addition, the fixing method of the cover body 4 and the container main body 3 is not restricted to this, For example, one of the cover body 4 and the container main body 3 may be fitted to the other. The main body 3 may be screwed together, and the lid body 4 and the container main body 3 may be fixed.

The lid body 4 has a mounting portion 7 to which the pen-type injector 10, that is, the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 is detachably mounted when the injection needle 14 is removed from the syringe main body 11 of the pen-type syringe 10.

Further, the lid body 4 has an input portion 8 that is used when a member that is detachably attached to a main body portion of another instrument is detached from the main body portion and stored in the container main body 3. In this embodiment, the insertion unit 8 is configured by a hole. For example, the measurement chip having a test paper for blood glucose measurement is removed from the main body of a blood glucose measurement device (not shown), and the measurement chip is removed. The puncture needle tip having a puncture needle is removed from the main body portion of the puncture device (not shown) and the puncture needle tip is inserted.

The mounting portion 7 has a structure for removing the injection needle 14 from the syringe body 11. First, the mounting portion 7 has a main body portion 70 having a bottomed cylindrical shape. In the present embodiment, the side wall of the main body 70 has a cylindrical shape.

A hole portion 702 that penetrates the bottom portion 701 and communicates with the container body 3 is formed at the center of the bottom portion 701 of the main body portion 70. The hole 702 is a portion where the hub 13 is inserted, that is, mounted when the injection needle 14 is removed from the syringe body 11. In addition, the shape of the hole 702 is a shape corresponding to the outer shape of the hub 13, and in this embodiment, the hole 702 has a circular shape in plan view.

A pair of arms 71 that can be elastically deformed are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the side wall of the main body 70. Each arm portion 71 is disposed in a recess formed in the side wall of the main body portion 70 and has a longitudinal shape extending downward from the upper portion of the side wall. In addition, each arm part 71 is arrange | positioned so that it may oppose through the central axis of the mounting part 7. FIG.

A projection (projection) 72 that can be engaged with the end face of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 is formed at the lower end of each arm 71 so as to project toward the central axis of the mounting portion 7. ing. The upper surface of each projection 72 is an inclined surface 721 in which the central axis side of the mounting portion 7 of each projection 72 is positioned below. Thereby, when inserting the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 in the hole 702, each arm part 71 curves easily, and the hub 13 can be inserted easily. Further, when the projecting direction of each projection 72 is “tip” and the direction opposite to the projecting direction is “base end”, the distal end surface of each projection 72 is curved in a concave shape in plan view. Each protrusion 72 is located near the upper surface of the bottom portion 701.

In addition, a plurality of ribs (convex portions) 73 that are inserted into the grooves 132 of the hub 13 and engage with the grooves 132 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the lower end portion of the hole 702 so as to protrude. Each rib 73 extends along the axial direction. Each rib 73 is arranged along the circumferential direction of the inner peripheral surface of the hole 702. Further, the base end portion of each rib 73 is rounded. The ribs 73 are arranged point-symmetrically with respect to the central axis of the mounting portion 7 in plan view. The number of ribs 73 is not particularly limited, but is four in the present embodiment.

In a state where the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 of the pen-type syringe 10 is mounted in the hole 702 of the mounting portion 7, each rib 73 is inserted into the corresponding groove 132 of the hub 13 of the pen-type syringe 10, The rib 73 and each groove 132 are engaged. Thereby, rotation of the injection needle 14 with respect to the mounting part 7 is prevented. Therefore, each rib 73 constitutes a rotation prevention means for preventing the injection needle 14 from rotating.

Each rib 73 is set so that the hub 13 can pass therethrough. After the injection needle 14 is removed from the pen-type injector 10, the proximal end surface of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 is pressed by a pressing member 9 described later, so that the injection needle 14 is stored in the container body 3, that is, collected. The In addition, after removing the injection needle 14 from the pen-type injector 10, it may fall into the container main body 3 from the mounting part 7 by dead weight. Also in this case, when the injection needle 14 does not fall due to its own weight due to frictional resistance or the like, the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 can be pressed and dropped by the pressing member 9.

In the state where the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 of the pen-type syringe 10 is mounted in the hole 702 of the mounting portion 7, the tip of the tapered portion 114 of the pen-type syringe 10 is the upper surface of the bottom 701, that is, the bottom 701. It abuts on the edge facing the hole 702. Thereby, the movement to the front-end | tip direction of the pen type injection device 10 with respect to the mounting part 7 is blocked | prevented, and the position of the axial direction of the pen type injection device 10 is controlled (refer FIG.6 (b)). Therefore, the edge portion facing the hole portion 702 of the bottom portion 701, that is, the contact portion with which the tip end portion of the tapered portion 114 abuts constitutes a position restricting means for restricting the axial position of the pen-type syringe 10.

The insertion portion 8 has a hole that penetrates the lid body 4 in the axial direction. In addition, the shape of the insertion portion 8 is not particularly limited, but in the present embodiment, the circular shape is formed by shifting two circular holes having different sizes in a plan view.

An edge facing the smaller one of the two holes of the insertion portion 8 is a thin portion 81. Therefore, for example, when removing the measurement tip from the main body of the blood glucose measurement device or removing the puncture needle tip from the main portion of the puncture device, the measurement tip or puncture needle tip is hooked on the thin portion 81. Can be removed.

Further, the mounting portion 7 is disposed at a position shifted from the center of the lid body 4 in the direction opposite to the connecting member 6 in plan view. The insertion portion 8 is disposed at a position shifted from the center of the lid 4 toward the connecting member 6 in a plan view.

The cover member 5 covers the opening of the mounting portion 7 and the opening of the insertion portion 8 when attached to the lid body 4, and has a plate-like main body portion 51 and a plate-like gripping portion 55. ing. When the cover member 5 is displaced, the cover member 5 is displaced by gripping the grip portion 55. In addition, although the shape of the main-body part 51 is not specifically limited, In this embodiment, it has comprised circular shape by planar view.

The cover member 5 has a pressing member 9 fixed to or integrated with the main body 51. The pressing member 9 is mounted on the mounting portion 7 and presses the proximal end portion of the hub 13 against the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 from which the syringe main body 11 is detached, and the hub 13 is moved from the mounting portion 7 to the inside of the container main body 3. It is made to leave toward.

The pressing member 9 is a protrusion formed on the main body 51 of the cover member 5 so as to protrude in a direction perpendicular to the main body 51. In other words, the pressing member 9 has a plate-like main body 91 and a pair of reinforcing portions 92 located on both sides of the main body 91. In the present embodiment, the distal end portion of the pressing member 9, that is, the distal end portion of the main body portion 91 abuts on the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 and presses the end surface. In the present embodiment, the main body 91 has a rectangular shape when viewed from the front. Further, in the present embodiment, each reinforcing portion 92 has a triangular shape in a side view.

As described above, the distal end portion of the pressing member 9 has a shape that does not interfere with the protrusion 72 when the pressing member 9 presses the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14, that is, a plate shape. In addition, when the pressing member 9 presses the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14, both end portions in the width direction of the distal end portion of the pressing member 9 are end surfaces of the proximal end of the hub 13. It is comprised so that it may contact | abut. In the present embodiment, the distal end portion of the pressing member 9, that is, the distal end portion of the main body portion 91 is linear in plan view.

Further, the length L (see FIG. 4) of the distal end portion of the pressing member 9 (the radial length of the hole portion 702 of the mounting portion 7 of the pressing member 9) is the diameter L1 of the hole portion 702 of the mounting portion 7 (see FIG. 1) and larger than the inner diameter L2 of the hub 13 (see FIG. 3). When the pressing member 9 presses the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14, the distal end portion of the pressing member 9 intersects the straight line 21 (see FIG. 4) connecting the pair of protrusions 72. The direction extends in the direction orthogonal to the present embodiment. Thereby, the front-end | tip part of the press member 9 can press the end surface of the base end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 reliably.

Further, the pressing member 9 is disposed at a position shifted from the center of the cover member 5 in the direction opposite to the connecting member 6 in plan view.

In the present embodiment, the cover member 5, the lid body 4, and the connecting member 6 are integrally formed.

In addition, ribs 52 are formed on the outer periphery of the main body 51 of the cover member 5. The rib 52 extends over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction of the main body 51. That is, the rib 52 has an annular shape.

In addition, two ribs 53 and 54 protrude from the inner side of the main body 51 along the circumferential direction of the main body 51.

On the other hand, a pair of ribs 41 project from the outer periphery of the upper end portion of the lid body 4 along the circumferential direction of the lid body 4. The lengths of the ribs 41 are equal, and the ribs 41 are arranged to face each other.

Further, a rib 42 is formed so as to protrude from the inside of the lid 4. The rib 42 extends over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction of the lid body 4. That is, the rib 42 has an annular shape.

When the cover member 5 is attached to the lid body 4, the rib 52 of the cover member 5 is positioned between the rib 41 and the rib 42 of the lid body 4, and the ribs 53 and 54 of the cover member 5 are the ribs of the lid body 4. It fits inside 42 (see FIG. 8).

Further, when the cover member 5 is attached to the lid body 4, the connecting member 6 is elastically deformed, and the connecting member 6 regulates the position of the cover member 5 and the lid body 4 in the rotational direction around the axis. Thereby, when the pressing member 9 presses the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14, it is possible to reliably prevent the pressing member 9 from interfering with the protrusion 72.

Next, the operation of the waste container 1 will be described.
As shown in FIG. 6A, when removing the injection needle 14 from the syringe body 11 of the pen injector 10, the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 of the pen injector 10 is attached to the attachment portion 7 of the waste container 1. That is, the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 is mounted (inserted) into the hole 702 of the mounting portion 7 from the distal end side of the pen-type syringe 10.

At this time, each arm portion 71 of the mounting portion 7 abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the hub 13 and elastically deforms, and in the state where the hub 13 is mounted on the mounting portion 7 as shown in FIG. The protrusion 72 is located on the outer peripheral side of the syringe main body 11 of the pen-type injector 10, that is, on the outer peripheral side of the tapered portion 114 in the present embodiment, and on the base end side with respect to the end surface of the base end of the hub 13. In addition, the front-end | tip of each protrusion 72 is contact | abutting to the outer peripheral surface of the syringe main body 11, and the outer peripheral surface of the taper part 114 in this embodiment. Although not shown, depending on the configuration of the pen-type injector 10, each protrusion 72 is inserted into the gap 15 between the syringe body 11 and the end face of the proximal end of the hub 13.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6B, in a state where the pen-type syringe 10 is mounted on the mounting portion 7, each rib 73 of the mounting portion 7 is inserted into the corresponding groove 132 of the hub 13, and each rib 73 And the grooves 132 are engaged with each other. Thereby, rotation of the injection needle 14 with respect to the mounting part 7 is prevented.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 6B, in the state where the pen injector 10 is attached to the attachment portion 7, the tip of the tapered portion 114 of the pen injector 10 is the upper surface of the bottom portion 701, that is, the bottom portion 701. It contacts the edge facing the hole 702. Thereby, the movement to the front-end | tip direction of the pen type injection device 10 with respect to the mounting part 7 is blocked | prevented, and the position of the axial direction of the pen type injection device 10 is controlled.

Next, the syringe main body 11 is rotated in a predetermined direction, and the male screw 113 of the reduced diameter portion 112 of the syringe main body 11 and the female screw 131 of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 are released. At this time, the position of the injection needle 14 in the axial direction is hardly changed, and the syringe main body 11 moves in the proximal direction. As a result, the gap 15 of the pen-type syringe 10 is enlarged, and each projection 72 is inserted into the gap 15. Is done. For this reason, in the waste container 1, the injection needle 14 can be removed from the syringe body 11 even when the gap 15 of the pen-type injector 10 is very small or there is no gap 15.

Next, as shown in FIG. 6C, the syringe body 11 is moved in the proximal direction. At this time, each protrusion 72 of the mounting portion 7 abuts, that is, engages with the end face of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14, and movement of the injection needle 14 in the proximal direction with respect to the mounting portion 7 is prevented. The injection needle 14 is detached from the syringe body 11.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, the cover member 5 is attached to the lid body 4, and the end surface of the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 is pressed by the distal end portion of the pressing member 9, The container 7 is detached from the mounting portion 7 toward the inside of the container body 3.

In this manner, the injection needle 14 is removed from the syringe main body 11, and the injection needle is stored in the container main body 3 of the waste container 1. The injection needles 14 stored in the container body 3 are discarded together.

As described above, according to the waste container 1, the syringe needle 14 can be easily and reliably removed from the syringe body 11 without touching the syringe needle 14 directly, and placed in the container body 3 of the waste container 1. It can be recovered.

That is, the ribs 42 of the mounting portion 7 and the corresponding grooves 132 of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 engage with each other, whereby the rotation of the injection needle 14 with respect to the mounting portion 7 is prevented. 11 and the female screw 131 of the injection needle 14 can be reliably released. Further, each projection 72 of the mounting portion 7 engages with the proximal end of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14, so that the movement of the injection needle 14 in the proximal direction with respect to the mounting portion 7 is prevented. The injection needle 14 can be reliably detached from the main body 11.

Further, since the pressing member 9 is provided, the hub 13 of the injection needle 14 in a state of being detached from the syringe body 11 and being attached to the attachment portion 7 is detached from the attachment portion 7 toward the inside of the container body 3. Thus, the injection needle 14 can be collected in the container body 3 easily and reliably.
Further, the configuration of the disposal container 1 is simple.

In addition, the number of the arm parts 71 and the protrusions 72 is not limited to two, but may be one, or may be three or more, but is preferably a plurality.

Further, each protrusion 72 of the mounting portion 7 may be engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the base end of the hub 13 in addition to the case where it is engaged with the end surface of the hub 13 of the injection needle 14.

Moreover, a protrusion is not limited to the said shape, For example, you may comprise plate shape.
Further, the shape of the pressing member is not limited to the above shape.
