Claims (12)
- カソード/セパレータ/アノード構造体の電極アセンブリ(ゼリーロール)が中に取り付けられた電池の円筒状容器の、開口した上端に配設されるキャップアセンブリであって、
前記ゼリーロールの電極リードが、前記電池内で高圧が発生すると破断して高圧ガスを放出するノッチを有する安全ベントの下端に電気的に接続され、所定の温度で電流を遮断する安全素子が、前記安全ベントと前記電極リードとの間に設けられたキャップアセンブリ。 - 前記ゼリーロールと前記安全素子との間の接触を防止する絶縁プレートが、前記ゼリーロールの上面に取り付けられた請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記安全素子が、温度ヒューズを備える請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記所定の温度が、80℃から110℃である請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記所定の温度が、90℃から100℃である請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記電極リードが、前記電極リードの、前記安全素子が結合される領域の前端から外方に、したがって前記電極リードが前記ゼリーロールの中心から外方に向かうように折れ曲がり、次いで、前記電極リードの、前記安全素子が結合される前記領域の後端から内方に折れ曲がっている請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記安全素子が、前記電極リードの上端部分に形成された請求項6に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記安全ベントは、厚さが0.15mmから0.4mmのアルミニウムシートで形成された請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記安全ベントの中央に、下方に陥凹するように構成された凹部が設けられ、第1のノッチおよび第2のノッチが、前記凹部を画定している上側屈曲領域および下側屈曲領域にそれぞれ形成され、前記第1のノッチが、閉曲線を成し、前記第1のノッチの下方に形成される第2のノッチが、その片側が開いた開曲線の形に構成され、前記第2のノッチが、前記第1のノッチよりも深く形成されている請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記キャップアセンブリが、少なくとも1つのガス放出口が形成されたトップキャップと前記安全ベントとが積層された構造体を有するように構成され、ガスケットが、前記キャップアセンブリの外周に取り付けられている請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のキャップアセンブリを備える円筒状電池。
- 前記電池が、リチウム二次電池を備えている請求項11に記載の円筒状電池。
