Claims (35)
- セグメントの少なくとも1つのシーケンスを含むインプラントであって、
前記シーケンスは少なくとも2つのセグメントを含み、前記セグメントは有効なヒンジで相互に接続しており、前記シーケンスは身体内へ挿入するにあたり、真っすぐなあるいは低曲率の挿入状態をとり、前記シーケンスは、前記セグメントに隣接したアバットメントの特徴によって少なくとも部分的に定義される、完全に偏向した状態へと偏向可能であり、
前記少なくとも1つのシーケンスは、前記少なくとも1つのシーケンスが前記挿入状態である際に薄型の折り畳み状態を取る、ループ構造の少なくとも一部であり、および、
前記完全に偏向した状態へと前記少なくとも1つのシーケンスを偏向させることで、ループが囲まれた容積を少なくとも部分的に定義する前記ループ構造の開いた状態が生じる、インプラント。 - セグメントの前記シーケンスの少なくとも2つを含み、セグメントの前記少なくとも2つのシーケンスは、各々のシーケンスの遠位端および近位端の少なくとも1つでヒンジにより相互に接続される、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ヒンジによる相互接続は、セグメントの2つのシーケンスをともにたたむことを可能にするように構成される、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- セグメントの前記少なくとも1つのシーケンスを前記挿入状態から完全に偏向した状態へと偏向させるために、セグメントの前記シーケンスの少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部に機械的に連結した連結部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のインプラント。

- 前記少なくとも1つのシーケンスは、前記完全に偏向した状態に弾性的に偏っており、前記挿入状態へと一時的に変形する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、前記ループ内で囲まれた容積にアクセスできるように、セグメントの前記シーケンスに少なくとも1つの開口部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のインプラント。

前記インプラントは、
(a)遠位端と近位端が相互に接続している少なくとも第1および第2の細長い側部を含む、可撓性材料でできたインプラントの1つの本体部であって、前記少なくとも第1および第2の細長い側部は、身体への挿入のために真っ直ぐな挿入状態をとり、少なくとも第1および第2の細長い相互に接続された側部は、身体内部で完全に偏向したループになるまで偏向可能であり、前記ループは囲まれた容積を少なくとも部分的に定義する、可撓性材料でできたインプラントの1つの本体部、
(b)前記少なくとも第1および第2の細長い相互に接続された側部を、前記真っ直ぐな挿入状態から身体内部での完全に偏向したループになるまで偏向させるために、前記細長い相互に接続された側部の少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部に機械的に連結された連結部を含み、
前記インプラントは真っ直ぐな挿入状態で断面積が小さい形状をとる、インプラント。 - インプラントであって、
前記インプラントは、
(a)身体に挿入するための真っ直ぐな挿入状態と身体内部での完全に偏向したループ状態であって、ループが囲まれた容積を定義する、前記の状態、
(b)前記囲まれた容積にアクセスできるようにする前記偏向した状態の少なくとも1つの開口部、
(c)前記インプラントを、前記真っ直ぐな挿入状態から身体内部での完全に偏向したループへと偏向させるための連結部を含み、
前記インプラントは、真っすぐな挿入状態で断面積の小さな形状を取り、
前記少なくとも1つの開口部は、前記完全に偏向したループ状態の前記囲まれた容積を充填材料で充填することを可能にする、インプラント。 - 前記真っ直ぐな挿入状態の前記インプラントを身体に挿入するための細長いコンジットをさらに含む、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかのインプラントを含む、移植システム。
- 前記真っ直ぐな状態のインプラントをその先端に載せ、前記インプラントを身体内に圧入するための細長いガイドをさらに含む、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかのインプラントを含む、移植システム。
- 前記少なくとも第1と第2の細長い相互に接続された側部は、前記細長い相互に接続された側部に沿ってスリットを有する1つの細長いセグメントで作られており、
前記スリットは完全に偏向したループ状態で閉じられる、請求項9または10に記載のインプラント。 - 前記完全に偏向したループの形は、トロイド状多面体、環状トロイド、楕円形トロイド、および、多重環トロイドからなる群から選択される、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 完全に偏向した状態へとインプラントを偏向させるために使用される前記連結部は、前記遠位端と近位端の間の距離を選択的に短くするために展開可能な少なくとも1つの伸長要素を含む、請求項9または10に記載のインプラント。
- 前記伸張要素は、前記インプラントの完全に偏向した状態へと前記細長い相互に接続された側部を選択的に偏向させることができるように、前記細長い相互に接続された側部の少なくとも1つに沿って伸びる、請求項9または10に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントを完全に偏向した状態へと偏向させるために使用される前記連結部は、膨張式バルーン、ばね、記憶形状材料、ネジが刻設されたロッド、および、ジャッキ機構からなる群から選択される、請求項4、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは椎間インプラントである、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは椎内インプラントである、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 生体適合性材料、骨移植片、骨片、椎体間固定のための骨成長促進剤、および、可動性維持のためのセメントのような不活性な充填材料からなる群から選択された充填材料を含有する注射器をさらに含む、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、ポリエチレン、超高分子量ポリエチレン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルケトンケトン、ポリウレタンのようなポリマー、ステンレススチール、チタン、チタン合金、形状記憶合金のような金属、および、このような金属とポリマーの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料から主に作られる、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントの材料は、炭素繊維とガラス繊維の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 前記完全に偏向した状態の前記インプラントを保持するためのロック構造をさらに含み、
前記ロック構造は、コード、ケーブル、ストリップ、相互接続部、および、スナップからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの要素を含む、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。 - 前記完全に偏向した状態の前記インプラントを身体に固定するためのロック構造をさらに含み、
前記ロック構造は、コード、ケーブル、ストリップ、相互接続部、および、スナップからなる群から選択される要素を含む、請求項1、9、および、10のいずれかに記載のインプラント。 - 前記少なくとも2つのシーケンスは、1つ以上の面で開かれる、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記少なくとも第1と第2の細長い側部は、1つ以上の面で開かれる、請求項9に記載のインプラント。
- (a)身体内へ挿入するための真っすぐな挿入状態と、身体内部で展開された状態をとるループ構造を有するインプラントを収容する工程であって、前記ループの展開された状態は、囲まれた容積を少なくとも部分的に定義し、前記ループ構造は、囲まれた容積にアクセスできるように前記ループ構造の壁を通る少なくとも1つの開口部を含む、工程と、
(b)真っすぐな挿入状態のインプラントを身体内に導入する工程と、
(c)前記インプラントに身体内部で前記展開した状態をとらせる工程と、
(d)前記開口部を介して、囲まれた容積に充填材料を導入する工程を含む、方法。 - 前記インプラントは椎間腔へ導入され、前記充填材料は隣接した椎体間固定を引き起こすために選択される、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記インプラントは椎間腔へ導入され、前記充填材料は隣接した椎体間の可動性維持を可能にするために選択される、請求項27に記載の方法。

(b)真っすぐな挿入状態のインプラントを身体内に導入する工程と、
(c)隣接した組織をそらすように、前記インプラントを、身体内部での前記展開された状態へと徐々に変形させる工程、を含む方法。 - 前記インプラントは、少なくとも二次元で展開した状態へと変形する間に拡張するように構成される、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記インプラントは、隣接した椎体間でそらされるように椎間板腔へ導入される、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記インプラントは、椎体の高さをもとに戻すために椎体に導入される、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記インプラントは、前記インプラントを前記挿入状態にするコンジットを通って身体に導入される、請求項27乃至34のいずれかに記載の方法。
