Abstract
【解決手段】水分分離器に配設されたWIFセンサから水分感知信号を受信した時点から時間をカウントし、そのカウントされた累積時間が設定時間を経過した時点で水分ドレーンの有無をチェックして、水分排出が行われなかったときにRPMドロップ要請信号を発生させてエンジンRPMをドロップする水分の流入防止のためのエンジン保護装置。

Claims (3)
- 水分分離器に配設されたWIF(Water In Fuel;燃料中水分)センサから水分感知信号を受信した時点から時間をカウントする時間計数部と、
前記カウントされた累積時間が設定時間を経過した時点で水分ドレーンの有無をチェックして、水分排出が行われなければRPMドロップ要請信号を発生させ、水分排出が行われれば初期設定となるRPMドロップ要請部と、
前記発生したRPMドロップ要請信号に基づいてエンジンRPMをドロップするエンジンRPMドロップ処理部と、を備える水分流入防止のためのエンジン保護装置。 - 前記エンジンRPMのドロップは、
現在のRPMごとにドロップすべき基準ドロップRPMをマッチングさせて保存しておき、RPMドロップ要請信号が入力されたときに、現在のRPMにマッチングされる基準ドロップRPMに現在のRPMをドロップする方式により行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水分流入防止のためのエンジン保護装置。 - 前記カウントされた累積時間が設定時間を経過した少なくとも2回以上の各時点ごとに水分ドレーンの有無をチェックして、水分ドレーンが行われなかったときに前記RPMドロップ要請信号を発生させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水分流入防止のためのエンジン保護装置。
