Claims (5)
- 長手軸を有する繊維強化テープであって、前記テープは少なくとも60重量%の線密度400から5,000TEXのガラス繊維および少なくとも2重量%の熱可塑性樹脂を含み、前記テープ内の少なくとも30重量%の繊維が前記テープの前記長手軸に沿って少なくとも部分的に方向付けられている、押出繊維強化テープ。
- 前記繊維は、4から15mmの長さを有する、請求項1に記載のテープ。
- 請求項1に記載のテープを製造する方法であって、前記方法は、
(A)少なくとも60重量%の線密度400から5,000TEXのガラス繊維および少なくとも2重量%の熱可塑性樹脂を含む長繊維熱可塑性樹脂ペレット若しくはストリップを作製する工程、
(B)前記ペレット若しくはストリップから押出し可能な塊を形成する工程、および、
(C)前記塊を押出して機械方向および横方向の方向付けを有するテープを成形する工程を含み、
少なくとも30重量%の前記繊維が前記機械方向に方向付けられている、方法。 - 請求項1に記載のテープを強度部材として含む、ワイヤー若しくはケーブル構造。
- 光ファイバーケーブルの形態にある、請求項4に記載のワイヤー若しくはケーブル。
