Description

第２のフィルタ２２は、第１のフィルタ１８と分離した材料として構成されるにしても、第１のフィルタ１８と類似した材料で構成されることが好ましい。ここで類似の材料とは、たとえばポリウレタン／ポリエステルの発泡体などの合成材料で製造されたようなオープンセルスポンジである。しかし、これは一例であってこれに限定されるものではない。第２のフィルタ２２の孔は、自由に空気を通過させる一方で、空気に含まれるデブリを捕捉して除去することを支援する。大気側Ａからのデブリの侵入の障壁および油側Ｏからの潤滑材の流出の障壁の構築を促進するために、第２のフィルタ２２は、第１のフィルタ１８とともに、外ケース１２と摩耗スリーブ１４とによって内部に定められる領域のすべてを占有する、あるいは実質的に占有する。ただし、第２のフィルタ２２と摩耗スリーブ１４との間にはわずかなギャップ５５が生じる。第２のフィルタ２２と摩耗スリーブ１４のフランジ５２との間にはわずかなギャップ５５′が生じることがある。図１に図示された実施の形態によれば、第２のフィルタ２２の幅は、第２のレッグ３０とフランジ５２との間の組立幅よりもわずかに大きい。したがって、第２のフィルタ２２は、第２のレッグ３０とフランジ５２との間で軸方向にわずかに圧縮される。なお、組立に先立って、第２のフィルタ２２と摩耗スリーブ１４との間の相対的な回転運動を実現させるために、第２のフィルタ２２は外ケース１２に固定される。第２のフィルタ２２は、外ケース１２に任意の適切な手段によって固定される。たとえば、第２のフィルタ２２は、接着結合部５７において第２のレッグ３０の油側に直接接着される。これにより、第２のフィルタ２２は、デブリの侵入および潤滑材の流出に対する障壁を与える。

Claims (1)

  1. 前記第２のフィルタと前記摩耗スリーブの前記滑り面との間に環状ギャップを設けるステップをさらに備える、請求項１３に記載の方法。
